Rin sighed and grinned at his captain."Should of know it was you to forget.." Rin chuckled. "I can't stay mad at you.. Though."he said as he walked past him slightly, then stopped and looked at him, "I can still give you hell for it for a while." Rin held out his hand to his captain. "It's all good bro.. and thanks. I'll give it my all."
After grasping his forearm, Rin jumped up onto the ring. Taking off his jacket, his arms showed some muscle as dropped his jacket behind him on the ground beside the ring. He wasn't tremendously built, but he had a muscle build to prove he could handle himself in a fight.
Rolling his shoulder, he walked up to the middle of the ring and to Juri as he heard some of the female spectators hoot and howling him."Oh boy.. here we go.."he spoke softly as he kept his glance on his opponent who was entering the ring as well.
Lyn's head was spinning. Was that her brother that just hopped into the ring after the captains hopped off? He looked like her brother, but there was something that she noticed was off about him. He didn't seem to have a demon-like aura, and if he did.. he was hiding it very well. Also, he certainly did not have the scent of a kitsune.
But..α¦.:β "Those eyes.." β½:.α¦she thought as she continued to hold on to her pendant. She also remembered him asking her to sing the lullaby that she was taught as a child by her mother.α¦.:β ""Could it really be him...?" β½:.α¦she spoke softly, almost a whisper, as her brain in overdrive as she continued to attempted to figure him out.
As her brain was going a million miles an hour and in her own little world, her blood began to softly hum as she was rubbing and fiddling with her pendant.
"Both team captains have agreed to stick with the traditional one-on-one matches! The line-up has been determined as well, first up is Rin verses Rei! The battle begins when both contestants have entered the ring and are ready!"
Note: The details of this fight are determined by you KyLyn. The only thing I had in mind was that Rei was a woman. Let's just assume she's a demon with the same class as Akarin. Her name was inspired by a character from Evangalion, so do with that what you will. At the end of your next post simply have Juri announce the winner #43CD80 is her color code should you choose to use it ^^ If you don't want to have her announce it, I'll just post that immediately after your next post ^^
Also, during any of these fights, all of you are allowed to use Koto and Juri as you wish! They are still NPCs Color codes will be added to the top post if you wish to use them!
After all the check ups, and time.. Rin was ready for this fight. Rei was a woman who did not buckle from his natural looks."Finally, a female fighter who will get serious." Rin thought as he nodded to her and crouched into his fighting stance.
As his opponent almost seemed to mimic him, Juri looked at both combatants, "Fighters ready!?"she said, raising her arm high as her tail swished to one side.
Both his opponent and himself nodded as Rin crouched lower into almost touching the floor with his knees.
"I have a feeling that this will be an interesting match folks! Rin looks like a beast ready to pounce his prey and his opponent Rei, looks almost to be doing the same thing right off the bat."Koto chimed in before Juri began the fight.
"Fight!!"Juri yelled, slashing her arm down then taking a slight step back.
RIn stayed as his opponent charged. He dodged easily and figured that she was not analyzing the fight very well."I wonder if she will begin to take things seriously..?"he thought, landing a hard right hook into her shoulder.
As the fight persisted, Rin was impressed that Rei did finally take the fight more seriously. He actually had to pull out all his tricks with his sword and dagger. Unfortunately, Rei had managed to disarm him and he had to fight hand to hand until that soon was ineffective.
Rin hoped that what he was going to do was not going to blow his cover too much. Pulling out his rose, he called to his energy and quickly transformed it into a sword.
"Amazing, after his other weapons have been knocked out of his reach, Rin pulled out a sapphire colored rose and just transformed it into a sword!"Juri said, blinking a couple of times, and gripping her microphone tightly.
"A blue rose?!"Koto began, "With not knowing much about this daring fighter, he has been very secretive with his own history and even his race! Now, at least we know that his demon blood contains some kind of animal. I wonder what he will pull out of his sleeve next?!"she finished with excitement.
Rei was a formidable opponent, but Rin took action to finish this fight.
About fifteen minutes later, Rin knocked his opponent off balance and said"Expanding Thornfang Slash."With a mighty swing, his rose sword's thorns grew and glowed from his energy and struck his opponent, without hitting any vitals, to the ground. Rei laid still as Rin walked over to check if she was still breathing, Juri soon following.
Juri leaned over and smiled."Rei is down! 1...2...3...4..."she said as she began counting.
There were cheers and some booing from the stands. Rin straightened up and looked at Rei. She was breathing steady, but he had a feeling she was not going to get up within the time limit.
Juri continued counting as Koto chimed in"That was a tremendous attack people! Rei is down and possible for the count. Rin showed excellent form with his rose sword and skills that we haven't seen yet in this tournament."
"8...9... And 10! The winner is Rin from Team Karamana!"Juri ended, pointing her hand to where Rin's team was and where he was standing.
"That's it people and what a match that was! I hope you have enough strength in your legs to still be at the edge of your seats. Because the next match will begin very soon and I have a good feeling these fighters will not disappoint!"Koto ended as Rin collected his weapons, placing his rose back where it was and went over to Rei and lifted her up gently.

((Sorry if this doesn't make sense at first! Read all the way through and I promise it will. I thought with the interaction between the two that I would only do one full post.))
Lyn ran onto the stage and stopped in front of Rin.α¦.:β "Please.. Allow me to take her to the Nurse's Tent." β½:.α¦she said with a strong voice and focused eyes.
Once he handed Rei to her, Lyn adjusted to hold her and bowed her head. Before leaving the ring, Lyn looked at Rin and spoke.α¦.:β "Answer me this.. Where did you get that rose? I've only heard of two people using that type of rose. I, myself, happen to be one of them and the other was my brother..." β½:.α¦
After Lyn received her message, unfortunately it was not what she was hoping for, she took Rei to the Nurse's Tent. Ruka, waiting for them, lead Lyn to the nearest cot and stepped aside briefly to allow Lyn to rest Rei on the cot.
α¦.:β "Please take good care of her.." β½:.α¦ she said looking at her with a defensive tone in her voice. Lyn had heard what transpired the last tournament that was held here and she was a little cautious around the woman.
Ruka smiled softly and nodded then she began to check over Rei's injuries. Lyn ran back over to her teammates to await the next match announcement.

Rin thought for a moment how to answer this. With an unchanging face and concealing voice he replied, "Win your next fight and I will tell you what you seek."Walking away, Rin hopped off the stage, grabbed his jacket and looked at Sumire."Best of luck in defeating that female fighter, Lyn. Be cautious, there is something about her.. and I have a feeling that you will have a difficult time with this one, unlike the other fights we've encountered so far.."
Going to the side of the wall, Rin leaned against it as he slid down the wall to meet the ground. He winced slightly as he breathed deeply while holding his left side. It was a decent cut but, nothing that he hasn't dealt with before and Rei was a bit worse off with all the minor cuts she had received. His body would be able to heal, thanks to his demon blood, but he would definitely get checked out before his next bout. Besides.. These next fights he would not miss for anything.
Sumire watched Rin slide down the wall, noticing he was holding his side so she decided to walk open to her, crouching down infront of him with a smile on her face "That looks to be pretty bad, you might wanna get that cut checked out." her voice was gentle yet firm. Sumire sat down next to him looking towards the arena but more towards her upcoming opponent Lyn "She looks pretty tough doesn't she, you may be right in there being something different about her, i just hope that i'm good enough to beat her."
He looked at his comrade and winced slightly again." I'll be fine.." he said as he thought, "So long as I don't move quickly.." Rin looked at the ring, the Nurse's Tent, and then Lyn. He knew she was probably right and he did indeed needed to be checked out by Ruka. But he also couldn't swallow his stubborn pride enough to go and risk the chance of missing the fight between her and Lyn.
"I need to see this fight.. I can't risk going to the Tent and missing it.." He said, readjusting slightly and winced again. His body was healing and resting, so all his wounds were getting more tender and his muscles were beginning to feel sore.
"If it's the girl who I'm thinking of.." He paused for a moment and looked at her, " You will have your hands full. Be careful and do not underestimate her.."

Koizumi watched intently as the first three battles played out. His piercing eyes seemed to hide his thoughts, though someone who knew him well enough would likely guess."We're down two fighters and they have the advantage. We'll be tied- as I predicted- if Lyn wins her match. But if she loses we have no chance of making the finals.. At this rate my match may not even matter. Lyn has to beat Sumire."His lips thinned out as his thoughts ran their course. He looked to his fallen teammates."The matches went the other way... I had assumed Seravee would win and Haku defeated by Rekka."But instead the giant laid in the medical tent with Rei. She had awakened and was recovering from her injuries, and now stood over him patching up areas where his armored skin had failed. Haku sustained many burns but was healing them himself as the nurse was busy. Koizumi turned away in time to see Haku walk over to Akarin and offer him a bottle of magical spring water."He has always been far too kind..."The spring water from Haku's home could treat any physical injuries. Haku never spoke much but was sure to tell the other man about their properties and how to soak the worst of his wounds with a rag. Koizumi then looked at Lyn, her battle was beginning."Lyn, before you go.."He gently touched he shoulder to get her attention."I want you to be careful. If you can't win this match our team will have no chance at the finals. My own match will not even matter. But please do not push yourself. No victory is worth a life. Simply do your best and try not to focus on winning. We will always have more chances to better ourselves if we focus on survival above victory."He gave her a patient smile. True, he wanted to win just the same as anyone else, but he was no fool. He knew how his team would be against the likes of Urameshi's team. It was important to always know your limits. Still, He hoped that his words would encourage Lyn to succeed. His intention was to keep pressure from getting to her, and also to show that he cared for her well being. The last thing he wanted was another injured team member. After saying what he needed to Lyn he visited the medical tent to check on Rei and Seravee.

"This wound is a bit deeper than I realized..."Rin gritted his teeth and looked up to see a member of Koizumi by him and offering him something."What is that?"he asked softly, pain barely seething through his voice. The fighter, Haku, gave him a bottle with some liquid. He told Rin of the instructions on how to use it. He looked at the fighter and said gratefully, " Thank you." He slowly opened the bottle and began to do as instructed. As he fought a hiss through his teeth, the water did indeed help his cut heal quicker.
After a moment, he sighed softly in relief and looked across the ring at Lyn, hoping she was focusing more on her oncoming match instead of his fight.

Lyn had watched Rin's fight with full intent and worry. After he gave her Rei and went to the wall of the stadium, more worry began to sink in.α¦.:β "Poor guy... I hope his alright.." β½:.α¦she thought as another worry sunk in.α¦.:β "What if he's...!" β½:.α¦
Her captain, Rin, thankfully interrupted that thought by giving her encouragement. She listened with full intent.α¦.:β "I will.. I will keep my focus straight." β½:.α¦as she thought α¦.:β " I hope.. But.. No! Focus on life and not what he said.." β½:.α¦
There was a slight worry that flashed in her eyes. Shaking her head and smiling,α¦.:β "Don't worry, " β½:.α¦placing a hand on her heart and pendant,α¦.:β "I will do my best." β½:.α¦
After saying that, she watched him go to their comrades. She took a breath and tried prepping her mind for her fight while double checking her weapons.

Sumire remained quiet as one of the opposing team members came up to Rin and handed him a bottle of liquid filled with water, able to heal wounds which sounded interesting to her. Sumire unlatched her book and quill from the belt, opening one of her pouches to pull out a small vile of ink and began to make notes about the water and thew physical affects it supposedly had, she had to find out more about this spring, perhaps it had certain physical properties that allowed to perform such things. She looked towards Rin and asked "So how do you feel? Is the water doing anything?"
Rin looked at Sumire, then at his wound. The cut no longer had any openings for possible bleeding and looked as if it was close to fully healed." Better than my own ability..."he thought in amazement.
He touched his wound and felt very little to no pain. He looked at Sumire again and said," I feel like I was before my match..."He looked at his wound again."I think it aided my healing ability.. My wound is nearly healed now.."he said as he thought"I feel though.. If I do something crazy or worse... it may risk opening the wound again.."
Rin was grateful that no one could read his mind, or see under his casual expression about his true concern. He was hoping the rest of the matches would end smoothly.
"Alright contestants! Preparations to the ring have been finished and everyone is checked out! We now ask for Contestant Sumire and Contestant Lyn to enter the ring!"

((It's fine, I figured as much. I've been busy preparing for A-Kon, so I understand.))
As Lyn heard her name as well as her opponent.α¦.:β "Alright.. It's my turn.."β½:.α¦she said. Taking a deep breath and a flick of her tail, Lyn ran and jumped onto the ring, front flipping over and landing gracefully. Her ears were perked high as her heart began beating with excitement.. and slight worry.
This was as far she had got last time.. She was hoping that she could win and her captain could take their team to the finals.
α¦.:β "I can do this.. I need to win..."β½:.α¦she thought as she looked at Rin, still sitting against the wall of the stadium. Haku had given him something she thought would help his wound, and he seemed to be looking better and no longer grabbing his side.
Breathing a sigh of soft relief, she prepped herself for the fight she is about to have. She shook her head quickly as her blood began to hum dimly again.α¦.:β "I don't even know him.. But he may... No! Focus!.."β½:.α¦She thought as she blinked and focused on Juri and her opponent, waiting patiently for her to join them on the ring.

Rin looked up as the next match was called. He looked up at Lyn then at Sumire."Good luck Sumire.. and be careful.."he said. Rin was about to say something else, but then he felt something.. a slight humming.. He knew this feeling and had a feeling that something would happen. Hoping his hunch was wrong, he slowly stood, keeping most of his weight on the wall just in case. He kept his watch on the ring as Sumire prepped herself for the upcoming fight.

As per usual with Sumire, she was a bit too busy hear her name be called, writing all kinds of possibilities she had thought of about the spring water, it was only when Rin said her name that she looked up and noticed her opponent and Juri in the ring. She closed the vial and ink and put it back in its pouch, attached the book back onto her belt securely and got up onto her feet, brushing the dirt off her clothes and made her into the ring, smiling towards her opponent as she grabbed hold of both Suiso and Sanso, not pulling them from their scabbards quite yet "Good luck during this match, it should be fun." Juri looked at both contestants after they had joined her in the ring "Are both contestant ready? In that case...fight!" Juri got out of the ring quickly after starting the battle. Sumire dashed at Lyn, pulling her swords from their scabbards along the way, the smile she once had was now gone, when she was close she spun her body to give her swords momentum for a diagonal strike following it up by dropping her body onto the ground and sweeping Lyns legs.
