Warren could appreciate where Gaddok was coming from. He just wanted to protect his family by setting them up for life. It sounded like he just got wrapped up in it all for to long. Warren could see his friend was tremendously stressed and heartbroken. Sathe must have been the one he was setting his life up for. Warren had seen similar heartbreak from songbirds that build an empty nest. Gaddok had the same sad look in his eye.
"Gaddok" Warren reached down and pulled his friend up by the shirt to look him in the eye, "Do not waste any more time." his words came out, heavy as stones. His hands shook with pain and frustration. "You spent to much time building your house without tending to the people who would live in it." his grip slipped and he let go of Gaddok's shirt. Warren didn't want his friend to know the pain he did. The pain of loss with no closure. "I came too late for my mother, I was to busy building myself so I could present myself to her as her son. I came to late, I never got the chance to..." His eyes started to tear a little. "You still have time to resolve things, you can end it or make peace with it, or what ever. But make sure it is your choice."

Gaddok arched a brow at Warren's comment. What he said may hold some truth, but it was not what he wanted to hear. 'My choice was to be with her! to love her! to care for her!' his sorrow quelled, leaving room for another fond emotion...
His heart pounded in his head as he rose to his feet, "Well Warren, I guess I can't have my Cake and Eat it too~" Rage left him trembling as he itched for a fight, "Guess we can't all keep it inside like you... Losing your mom must have been real hard, as you've shown." A small part of him flinched, questioning if the comment was too harsh, but a fight was going down tonight! It's what he needed- what he yearned for.
Warren needed it too... He just didn't know it yet~

Gaddok was feeling sorry for himself and Warren was the consoling type. His words were often straightforward and insensitive, but he always meant well. The insult to the loss of his mother hit him harder than any blow. He couldn't believe Gaddok had gone there. Before he could even try to reply rationally Warren let his fist reply for him. He lunged forward and launched his fist right into Gaddok's jaw. Warren wouldn't deny, it felt really good. He immediately retracted and took a step back towards the entrance. "G-Gaddok... You," He stammered, "I'm sorry but that was uncalled for."

Gaddok staggered backward from the hit and grasped at his jaw, blinking a bit he let his vision refocus, "Wanna know what else is uncalled for~" He purred, facing down Warren with an arrogant grin. Gaddok hunker down and charged for Warren's abdomen, tackling him to the earth outside the cave.
Wrestling tirelessly with Warren's massive form, Gaddok eventually locked his arm behind his back and applied pressure to the shoulder joint, keeping Warren from struggling out of his hold, "I insult the woman you struggled so hard to impress- Trained day and night for, and all I get is a half-hearted slap to the face?" He felt Warren struggling in frustration against his hold and chuckled, "Oh Wait, that was your fist... wasn't it."

Now he was just goading him. If It was a fight he wanted Warren would give it to him. While the hold Gaddok had him in was painful, a burst of strength could get Warren out of almost anything. He used his free arm to press himself off the earth and onto his knees. As soon has he felt Gaddok slip he twisted back to swing his fist into his side. Warren's fists were covered in crystals and he was going to make sure Gaddok could see their impressions in the morning. He jumped to hold down Gaddok and throw a few more hard punches to his abdomen and side. "You s**t!" He shouted at him. "I could break your face!"

Flexing against the blows Gaddok could feel how out of practice he was; Every. Single. Blow. But with each passing strike, he felt more of himself... the parts he lost to a life he didn't want slowly started coming back, he clung to that and not so much the pain.
When his deserved beatdown was over Gaddok burst into a fit of laughter, "I've never felt so-" he broke off into a coughing spell, his already bruising torso contorted with each bout, but as it passed he laid sprawled out on the earth, hand over his face Gaddok exhaled a breath, "Alive~" And like a sigh of relief the tension he had been feeling in his chest was alleviated.
"You're... Exactly what I needed~"

Warren let out a laugh, Gaddok looked more like himself. It felt good to let out the frustration that had been building for the past few days. He let out a huff of breath. "Yeah, we both needed that." They were both in need of some training too. He went over to the cart to grab some things. He walked back to Gaddok as he slipped his gauntlet on. He was carrying the large sword under his arm and tossed it to Gaddok. "Now let's stop slapping each other like younglings and get some actual training done."
