T.G. hummed at Clear's tale, and grinning a little when he flushed when talking about rose's pearl. thousands of years among other cultures made her a pretty decent judge of character. At Clear's question, she cocked her head to the side, thinking about her answer. "I learned how to do that shortly after i deserted. I was found by one of the other quartzes of my squadron after runnin' off, and dragged back to face punishment by the supervisin' Agate. I don't know why, but i couldn't summon my weapon very well, still can't. So i jus'...bubbled myself 'fore she could shatter me. I don't really know how i can do that, my squadron was surprised too." She tossed a very mischievous grin at Clear. "S' real fun runnin' inta other people in a bubble, 'specially goin downhill. That's how i got away, just running over other gems in my bubble, it was kinda funny-looking. After that i tried to figure out how my bubble worked, and i ended up floating into space."

"M' sorry to hear that. If ya want, i can tell ya some of the places i've been to if you think it won't upset you." T.G paused before adding, "Or i could show you how fun it is ta run around in a bubble. your pick." she smiled.

"yeah, some of the places i've been are just amazing. One planet i been to was made up of huge forests and freshwater rivers. The people there had descended from flying creatures, and they all kinda looked like pearls with wings, but they had a really beautiful culture, with big elaborate tree-houses and clothing with big, billowy sleeves and flowing skirts. And the best part is everyone in the society was equal, from the farmers and architects to the nurses and tailors; even the leaders were rotated out on a regular basis to keep one person from having too much control over everyone else. When i landed there, they greeted me with open arms, and offered to give me a place there. I think you would've loved it." She gently nudged Clear in the side and smirked. T.G. looked back at the sky and sighed, a little morosely. "I just hope they're far enough out of Homeworld's reach."

"really? can you tell me about it? I'd love to hear how the humans have advanced since i've been here!" with a cheeky smile, she added, "and if you want, i can tell you more about the planet of pearls. They have a really diverse culture, and they have this thing called 'Family' but it extends to their entire tribe sometimes. Once i'd been there long enough, they even included me." T.G. put her hands on her face, giggling a little.

"that's amazin' that humans have advanced that far, and the families at Avisna; that's what they call their planet; aren't always directly related to each other either. all the hatchlings are raised in a group by everyone, and they usually pick which adult they get attached to as they get older. with the exception of a few tribes that raise their young separately, or um, show solidarity with tribe outsiders by letting them have their own little egg to take care of." T.G. grinned and reached up into her thick hair, and carefully pulled out a fist sized egg that resembled a chocolate pearl. ((the tahitian pearls, they're super pretty)) "I think this lil one is gonna hatch in a few days, if you'd like to stick around to see. it's really warm too, you can feel the life inside it... would you like to hold it?"

T.G. smiled at the little egg. "Yep, when i told them i had to leave because i didn't like settlin' down, they insisted on me taking one of their eggs. When i asked why, they said so one of their own could see the stars." T.G. grinned even wider, if that was even possible. "And 'cause i was part of the family, and even the people who leave the communal home to explore the outskirts don't get out of helpin' raise the little ones. they had completely accepted me there, being a different species didn't matter to them, i was part of their society whether i wanted it or not." she laughed and looked back up at Clear. "So now i have an egg."

T.G. accepted the egg back, and carefully placed it back in her thick mass of curls. "that's good. after seein' so many space faring species that were rather cruel, includin' ours, i hope that at least some of the folks that make it to space are good people."

T.G. followed his gaze, thinking of all the different planets she'd been too, of all the different spaceships she'd seen. from the nomadic peacemakers and the curious knowledge seekers with sleek, aerodynamic ships and comfortable interiors; to the dictators and warlords with their fleets of imposing and usually angular battleships. Turning back to clear, she grinned. "so am i gonna get that tour or what? Also, if ya' wouldn't mind, i'd like to know a bit more about the other gems here. Since i'm not actually part of the rebellion, and i've been, well, out of the loop for awhile." she laughed
