For, even though she was not related, she couldn't help but see Sorrel as a brother-figure, even if her views were changing slowly over time. It just felt a little awkward for her still, even after a year had gone by since the trio had inadvertently shared their feeling for each other. She really did care about the stallion, but making a child together? She was still not quite ready to complete that step. Hal knew she would be happy to have him be the child's father, just like herself and Kai would be the foal's mothers, but even though there was probably a simpler way, she was not prepared to take that path just yet. Halcyon's thoughs drifted to Kai. She would be so delighted to have a child of her own and become a mother in her own right. The mare was looking forward to leading the herd when Immi and Day stepped down but had hoped to enjoy raising her own child before she became too busy. Shaking her head, the flutter tried again, "Dear spirits, I wish for you to give Kai her dream of a child, and would be delighted if you happened to chose to make it a child of my own also. Thank you so very much." Bowing to the glittering star above, she lay down the flower necklace and then left to head back home to her small family.

It had been quite a while since she had been before the star that granted wishes. She looked up at it while gently holding the charm she had fashioned in her mouth, eventually leaning down to plop it gently in the grass on the hill. "I wasn't entirely sure what I hoped for when I came to leave a wish last time." So she had actually ended up leaving without making one at all. "But this time I think I know." She nudged the charm with her muzzle as if to point it out to the star.
"I would like to see my father again, if you can manage to find him." She had nothing of his really, but he was the first to show her how to string beads and feathers into her mane and tail. "My family parted ways once my siblings and I were grown. But he was the one I was closest to growing up." They were the most alike - both with a love for dance and singing as well as joviality and freedom with affection. "Please, if you find him send him my way."

Glósóli leaves a variety of crystals, stones, and bones he's gathered over the months, wrapped in hair from his tail. Liebe, having forgotten a gift was necessary, plucks out one of her wing feathers and one from Glósóli (who would have given it willingly if she had just asked), intertwining them together and tying them with a gold strand of hair from each of them. Short IC Response: Glósóli had assured his Liebe that wishing for a basket would not be frightening or painful, but she was not convinced; she was so nervous, in fact, that she forgot to bring a gift. She felt painfully awkward and like maybe she had ruined all of it, until Glósóli began to sing. His deep, rich voice filled the sky, and all at once she felt a sense of peace and belonging; while she wasn't sure this was the path she was supposed to go down, especially after hating stallions for so long, she knew that he was the one she was supposed to walk it with. She began to sing with him, a little shaky and quiet at first, but with his encouragement the two were soon singing a gentle lullaby; the one Journey used to sing to her and her brother in their baskets. That night, she sleeps through the night without nightmares for the first time since her father and brother left.

This was Fenis' first time making a wish. She'd never heard of it before (because she might as well live under a rock), and when she did, she knew exactly what she wanted to wish for. "Um, hi, I guess." That sounded great, she thought. Taking a deep breath, she steadied her nerves. She wasn't used to asking for things, but she had to try this time. "I wish I could be with my sister, I miss her a lot.", hurried out of her mouth. They'd loved collecting pretty rocks and doing almost everything together when they were small. Most everyone I've come across things I'm a really creepy and weird." She tilted her head to the side and smiled. "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion."

Short IC Response: Astraea currently has no memory of her past life or any of her family and Bara knew her growing up and seeing her now like she is saddened him a bit since she was the same mare on the outside, but a different one inside. The two formed a short bond and hoped to bring some life into the world before she continues on her way to discover the rest of her past.

Astraea watched as Bara left a feather from his wing and gave a small prayer and departed from the pillar. Approaching she looked around, it seemed so strange that her friend Amadahy had done something similar and brought her back into her life not so long ago. Clipping a strand of her long hair with her teeth she laid it upon the alter. "Oh star, I pray that you grant us a family to raise, to teach and guide. I want to know that I have done some good in this world and pray that I will be able to pass on what I know onto children so they may pass it on to theirs in turn. Plus I think Bara needs the experience of child rearing." She laughed a little at the last part. Giving a final bow she backed away from the pillar.

Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: So, I never knew my mom. Just that she abandoned my sister and I before we were born with the Hatetalons. I love my herdsisters, and I am eager to prove myself strong enough to be one of them, but I can never shake the feeling that someday everything's going to be taken from me again. Short IC Response: Taking a breath the great water stallion closed his eyes directing his thoughts to the shining becon before him. "Her name is a distant memory as the water washes over sand erasing time leaving a void. Endless as the oceans she is a part of me as I am her everlasting as the sea herself".
