She took a deep drink of her ale and let out a content breath once finished. "I caught aglimpse of her when they did that whole celebrationt hing a few months back. Something you don't forget, not that she looks weird or anything!" She stammered quickly noting the look she was bing given by Zev. "Sorry sh'es your freind and I didn't mena to sound rude. Just .. she leaves an npression."

Zev didnt expect that this was that deffernt from the fighters guild, he would have to look into the history more on his own when he had the time. Since he had a feeling Vilkas did not want to talk to him any time soon. "Its alright, honestly i thought She was a vampire when i first met her" though the pail skin and red eye could throw anyone off when it came to that. He did end up learning fast that she was not a vampire at all and just liked to be left alone. "I think she might have gone back to daggerfall or something, i think thats whare she was from, and given that she dose not like geting attition at all i cant blame here."

"So what are your plans for here? Staying for the long haul or the thrill" Rena asked becuase they had people in the past come and go for different reasons. As of late, or last few years, the Companions had become stricter and strcer in how they took in people.
But given that they were a prestigious order it only made sense.
"Vilkas isn't so bad actually. The few jobs I"ve done with him he's more than willing to help you out. His pride often times gives peole the wrong inpression of him but he's actually pretty down to earth." She clapped her mouth shut quickly relaizng she said to much. "Not that I've noticed that about him or anything mind you." She promply took a large drink of her ale praying it would hide the color in her face.


In truth this was crazy.
There were far safer places she could have done it but wel she acted and ddn't think. She left the Sancturary and things has been been normal but quickly went downhill.
She told herself she hadn't menat to do it. Se only killed when contracted that was how it was suppsed to be.
She just snapped and she saw red and she felt fire in her viewns and than the bodies. She wasn't on the verge of tears but she didn't understand what happened to her. She was a mile from home and was quicly dragged the three bodies off the road.
So stupid!
Bodies on the road wasn't uncommon but unwanted attneiton coudlnt be risked. Without thinking she dug a large hwhole with her bare hands and dumped the bodies in and covered htem. She was filty and it was raning an sh had thaught at one point taking her boots and gloves off was a good diea.
So she was coered in mud, blood and soaked wihtout her boots and the other layers of her armer which she held.
"What is worng with me?" She asked allowed to the rain. She should leave becuase she was liely to get sick but she just stood there in the rain getting wetter and more filthy and wondering why she was panicing.
Sh'd done nothing wrong!!
"How long have you been there?" She asked withotu relaizing it alowed. Her vocie was so flat she inwarldy didn't reconzie it. When had he fallowed her though?

"Long enough" Cicero said in a sing sone tone and laughed. "sister is still a little messie but thats alright no one is good at killing at first, it take pratice pratice pratice" he said more happy to see that she killed. With not reasion to she just did it. Though normaly most of the brotherhood dosent just kill to kill it not unheard of, after all its never good to get rusty.

-week later-

Zev was almost hopeing that something would end up happning, something that could give him a little exictment. Curriers comeing up to him and giving him letters were not that uncommen anymore, saddly it seemed that being the dragonborn came with some addmirers, some trying to convince him to come and see there daughters. To bad for all of them that he liked men more than women, not that he was even thinking about anything like that.
Then there were letters like this, written in a hurry and desprate, yep this was a dragon. he walked into yourvasger, normaly he would go alone but he was a companion now and from what he was told it was good to always have someone else with you, just incase. "Alright, I got a letter, some dragon is giving Dawnstar a heard time, anyone want to come with me to fight it" he said. If it was deffernt he wouldent even be able to go but given that he can kill them and is the only one that could, the compaions made an accption when it came to dragons.

Cicero to some looked like he had been happyer, laughing more and almost incesting that he give Sonja lessions on being an assasian. "anyone else find this odd" Nazir questioned because really the jester seemed to intersted in Sonja, and Astrid seemed way to okay in this happning at the same time.

For once it was silent for a moment, every member was processing what they just heard.
Dragns.
Yes they all heard the stories of dragonbs and the dragonborn however being able t fight one? That was something different all together.
The Circle could feel the blood pounding in their veiwns. Dragons were the greatest, msost feared, reveared and glorious prey in the land! Thus it only mae sens that only they should go, the othrs though skilled lacked experiance and dsciplin.
Rena was practicaly beside herself!Even though she knew she couldn't jump up and down waving her hands int he air saying "Pick Me! Pick me!' it didn't mena she couldnt't hink it. "I know your not offically initiaed yet Zev but I'd be honored to be your shield sibiling in this!" She tried to keep her excitment at bay but her rin was like that of a child on their name day reieving their first sword forged just fo rhtem.

"Noticed it to did you?" Bobette quiped after making sur ethy wernet beign over heard. "Our little Sister seems oblivous to it yet Astird seems to be pushing for it. Cicero on the other hand ..cna't read him. Hmm." She thought at the strangness of t all.in truth what they did on their spare time was thier own buisness bu this felt different.
Perhes it was th fact that she saw Astrid smirking subly to herself after watching Cicero return with Sonja.
Or that Sonja didn't seem to be bothered of the proximity that the jester occasioanly pushed on her.
or that Sonja seemed to just be cntent wiht bieng in private with im for no reaosn for hours.

Zev should have expected this responce. He didnt think any one other han himself there had even seen a dragon. But he knew everyone there was good with a blade and knew that they were doing so he would rather have someone know what to do rather than have someone that was guessing.
Still everyone seemed to vie for that spot and if he could he would has everyone to come. Maybe since he was the low man he could take the other low men with him "Alright Rene, dragons arnt a walk in the park you sure you want to come" he hald joked with him. Though also javing someone good with a bow would be good, and everyone semmed determed to go as well. "how about yo Athis how about you"
"It would be an honer shild brother" the dark elf said, getting a dragon under his belt, would get a few people to turn there heads, though the thrill alone id worth it.

Nazir didnt really care most of the time, this was just getting weird to him though "wish i could ignore it to be honest" but when it came to Cicero it was nearly impossabul to ignore. Though he did worry for Sonja just a little, she was young and could be swayed and though everyone there was free to make there own choises some could be manipulatiove.

Perhpes not everyone was needed for it but it ddn't stop the whoe group form gon. Dragons were not to be taken lighlty so it made sense to have as many n hand capable wariors as ossilbe. It had taken little time for everyone to actually get hteir gear ready and their horses.
The dragon was n fact an hour away form Whiterun, which menat it ossed a great threat to the city. The beast hand't yet seemed interested int he city but if the growing amounts fo smoke and flame was any idnication it wanst far behind.
the smell was awful but t wans't just msoke it was burnign fleash. You couldhear scremaing int he distnace thourgh wheahter it was animal or human was indeshiperable. The hamlet that had called for aide was a small one known for fishing and really wasn't ona map. The towers of moe and flames coming form it though was an ill men.
Vilkas and Farkas could both feel the the amphresnion rising int he group. Wolves were top predaotrs it was not disuted hoever a dragon .. that was somethign else. And the could feel it.The rumbling and crunching sounds broke threw the silance.
The horses where panicking and trying to pull bakc despite eveyrone tyring to calm them. In the black smoke its massive body appeared scaled and glemaing in the flames. Thelang neck turned to face them at the sound of horses and their sent and the massive eyes the blazed at them held nothign but contempt. In it's mouth was a small burnt body but still reconziable as a hild.. half missing.


"Have you?" Asrid's voci wascripsp sharp and to the point.
"No." Her short and to the point rey wasn't recipricated well and she wa givne a small glare.
"I gave you this assignment becuase I have been reassure dint he past you coudl get it done. Yet you seem to be finding the fools presne to be more enjoyable." She wanst accusing but she had noted the prefered company the breton ckept.
"It's a twenty four hour thing. Not exaclty easy." Astrid had met her in her own room which Sonja was debatin if it was a good or bad thing.in truth she was just to tired to get itnoa verbal yes or no right now. Shed rather be practicing her spell books but Astrid wouldnt' be dneied. "Nothing of note or inportance." She almsot added the the jester had a more compex personality than he gave off butkept it to herself. Again she wans't int he mood. "I said 'd find out and I will."
Te silance wanst reassuring and Sonja could hardly blame her. She came back a week ago without her shoes on diryt soaed and bloody with the fool fallowing her. Astrid had wanted to know if he had had done anyting to her, in retrospect sh eoculd understand and appreciate the concern.
"Your not stupid Sonja." She actually looked up in surpise at Astrid. "But don't trust him. He gives m the creeps." Her tone made Sonja actually wonder if she had been misdjusitng hte paranoid women She sounded cocnered and unnvered, not a reassurng thing for Astrid.
But she left her alon all the same.

If it went for the fact that Zev had seen this kind of destruction sevral times before he would be shocked himself at the amount of flames and the smell. He was by far no expert on dragons, far from it acctuly, he knew the basics and how to tell one from another. These burned looked planed and stratigic, in a chaotic kind of way. A roar ripping threw the say the redguard looked up to see the dragon "Well this is just great" he mutered "Its an elder dragon"
a few that were close to him looked congused at first "what dose that mean" Athis was able to get out after the got himself to control his exictment at just seeing the thing
"It means there older, stronger, smarter, and get pissed off faster than other dragons" Zev always hated fighting elder dragons, good thing it was not often. He got his sword, now was as good a time as any "This is going to get loud" he worned and let out a shout at the dragon, more to first get his attition on them, though when ever he shouted he always felt it gothrew his hole body it took a while for him to be able to do it without falling on his back.

-one dragon fight later-

Zev felt the soul of the dragon going into him and he could honestly say that he had never seen any group of people look more exicted than the compiones did at that moment. He was glad that no one seemed searseouly hurt, some were hurt yes that comes with the teraroty but not so much that some rest wouldent fix. All that was left of the dragon was the bones and a few scales and there was already arguing on what to do. it seemed that everyone wanted to take the bones, or atleast the skull back, but what to do with the rest is what was going on, Some seemed to think that making armer would be the way to go while others wanted to try wepions. "hey, look iv tryed making both with scales and bone, its not easy most of what i make ends up destroyed" ev said though it didnt damper the mood. "instade lets take the money we got from this and drink till tomarrow morning"

Cicero muttered to himself as he pased his room. He knew that Astrid had been wanting Sonja to spy on him for lack of a better term, He was not stupid nore was he something you should mess with. Astrid should have just left him alone, just accepted that he was there and let him go about his busness, but she decided she wanted a fight and a fight she was getting.
It was great to see how she hated the fact that despite how 'close' him and Sonja were he still did not tell her anything about himself. It would be easy for her to say that he was just a crazy olf fool that took care of the night mother. Of corse things would be a lot easer as well if she would pick a listener, how he wanted to hear her voice for so long but he knew that wouldent happen even if he wanted it. no he had to make due with what little of his mind he had left.

In truth there was little ot be done for the village. The corses were burnt or mutilated beyond much recolonization and the call of carries crows was filling the air as they circled the new feast.
Burying th dead wasn't something they often participated in, but given the circumstances it was fine. Scavanging the dragon's bones took longer than expected due to it's size and the akwardness of the bones and scales.
"Yorlen might be able to do something whit them." Vilkas commented as they wrapped th bones an scars fo travel. Aela had wandered to the outskirts to scout and make sure nothin jumped out of them. She could smell blood on the wind and predators drawing closer. The bodies would be dug up before they were even a mile away givne the number of them.
Farkas could feel the shifting in the area. Only the circle would feel it and the others were oblivous to it, at least for now. "We should go." He said in passing to Vilkas as he moved from one end of te runed village to another.

Maybe she was pushing her luck to far, wouldnt be the first time. Cicero was occupied in the Night Motehr's room and she ha.. taken a liberty
She had snuck inot his room as quitl as a mouse and cret across the room. Part of her was saying this was a violation of a tenient while the toher part of her said this was dsolving a problem.
In truth she didn't know where to realy look n his room, she rarley had that oppertnityt o look aorund He had a lot of boks scattered aorund but clealry in a certian order and a few were open that he had been rean. Paper and quils and ink litterled one table and burned down candles littereted th room.
She found alarge trunk int he coerner and se debated on passsing it up but decide no she carefully channeled osme magic to see if it was warded at all, it wans't. And carefully moved her hands across the top to find the lock to it.
She carefulywove her hand over the lock letting her magic go over it and she heard a small click.
She openedthe lid quily looking back to make sure tat he wans't there than opened it.

Zev could agree to getting out of there. He knew that this much destruction ment scavengers would soon show up and he didnt want to be around for that to happen.
Ofcorse being exusted he didnt really want to walk all they way back to wightrun but that atlest didnt take to much effort. And well seeing at he would still get payed for this and it would tecanly go to the guild it felt good being part of something once again. "Hope theres enough food to go around" He always ended up hungry after a dragon fight. must have been all the engery that he had to use to fight them. Shouting took a lot out of someone after all.

That Night

They had prepared thir camp carefully making sure that alls ides were covered. Two members stood gaurd at a time. Right now VVilkas and Aela had the gaurd.
"So what do you think?" The hunreess asked quitly.
"Of what?" Vilkas knew lreayd but had little want to tlak about it.
""is strength. Ot would aide us considerablly." Se stalked carefully knowing hte others tedancy to bite.
"Hardly. Legendary warriro or no he andt proven hismelf." e woudlnt just hand over somehting like that to anyone.
"If we had the Dragonborn on our side they wouldnt dare lift a blade to us again."
"Of it woudlencourage them."

She told Astrid. The woemns face had an eerie pale look to it when she finished and sh ooked genuanlly disturbed, which was frightening.
"Your certain" Astrid asked and her voice almsot begged to be wrong.
"I know that art when I see it." The twist in her own stomache ouldnt be ignroed etheir. The understood why that chest had been tucked so securly away in hsi room.
No one was meant to go in it.
"So your plan?" She askd whiel Astrid paced sielntly in her room, the door locked o prevnet unwanted interuptions.
"Does he know you were there"
"Not to my knoldge. I was carefully but any one of us knows when our palces have een disturbed."
Not a confoting thaught.
"Continue arefully. This eviaance only supports what Im fearing."
"Which is?" Sonja could see Astrids side in this. Everything in there was dangeorus and spoke a distubing volume of to who they could be delaing with and what they could do.
"Dont let him get an inkling you were nsooping. Ressume as you were Sweeten up to him if you feel you must, he has odd liekign to you. But be more careful." Astrid was pacing more erraticall but thinking with persecion.

Cicero went about in his room like he normaly would. For the most part everything was whare they left it. But the chest. Now itwas exactly whare he had left it, hidden and covered. It was closed but the cover on it was a scued just slightly. Now if it was a drift or maybe his foot got hooked on it with out noticing then that would be one thing.
No he knew that someone was in there. But right now he wasent sure who it was.He had an idea though. He smiled to himself "So you want the game to get to the next level do you faker" he said to himself and started to laugh. If Astrid was going to up the stakes then he could as well and this would make thigs even more intersting.
Now would be a good time to really start the spying. seeing what everyone has agest one another, the good thing about that is when one is a simple mouse or bird no one thinks that tey will tell secreats.

Zev rubbed his left shoulder to get the stiffness away from it. He always found his body gets stiff after fighting dragons. He must have looked it to because Ria asked him about it, though everyone was tired.
"Its more a side effect from shouting i think" Zev didnt know if it was officely that but it always seemed to happen. "It dosent last long atleast." he took a piece of the boar meat that was roasting over the fire. There was a lot of mouths to feed and it was rather easy to catch so they had it over the fire and it was almost gone right now cause everyone had a lot of it.

"Does it hurt?" Rea asked carefully while eating her own meat. njuries asde their group was sore but cheerful. One thing she did not enjoy about this whole thing with dragons returning was the bodies.
Everywhere.
It could have been bandits or wolves but once you saw a dragon attack you new what to look for. Most of th group was pased out and snoring but she thaught she saw the twins tlaing but wasn't sure. Than again it wans't unusual Vilas was tlakitive but not open while Farkas seldom said a word save to hsi borhter.
"So what do you think of them? The Circle?" She asked qutily He'd been there logn enough to where he surely would have picked up on the poltiics in the guild.

She hadn't volunteeered nor declined to collect herbs. Truthfully se needed a brak and felt like vising her birds.
In turth she had tkane to feeding them and they had more or less adopted her into their circle as it was.
The chorus of swuaked as she approhced was her indication that they were excited to see her. She never dared pet them, hey wer enot her pets but they left her little gifts.
"You all miss me?" She guessed whilemoving threw the paht, the bird squakeing all aroudn her. Deathblosom wans't uncommon or rare you just needed to know where to look for it and she knew where to look.
This was getting rediculous.
to much stress form everything and everyone and she was in a positon to not be able to fight back. Whichs he hated.

Zev wasent sure hurt would be the right word for it. "It dosent hurt, not anymore anyway. Its just deffernt i guess" he said trying to think about how to explane it. Unless you experinces it yourself then it was heard to put into words. "Lets see, like when i use the shout for fire, its almost like my hole soul becomes fire." he closed his eyes thinking more, that really was the closest he could come to describing it.
He opened them though and looked at Rei "The cercile...there intersting to say the least" he didnt think he had ever met anyone like them in his life. "Vilkis looks like he still wants to kill me Skeour i get the feeling sees me as nothing but a kid, Aila, well shes a great sparing partner, reminds me of my oldest sister a little." he couldent help but get a smile on his face thinking about it, They wernt exactly the same no there personaltys were deffernt by far but the determanation and willing to fight was there . "Farkas is great to get a drink with, funny to" he thought so anyway. though there was something off still "But do you ever feel like there not telling us something, I get its there right if they are but it just seems a little odd sometimes."

Cicero had timed this just right, as a commen raven no one would think twice, he knew that Sonja fed them when she went out. he had seen it sevral times, even went up to her as a bird a few times and no one seemed the wiser.
This would be easy if he could stay around her more then chances are he could find out what Astrid planed from her own mouth and she wouldent even be any wiser.
he flapped his now wings and ended up closer to the Albino. he made sure to act like a Raven that had gattened used to someone. He had botten, nothing fancy or anything a simple copper botten, as a gift, and since ravins were known to take things that shine he was sure that Sonja wouldent think much of this. he just needed her to talk or let him fallow her is all.

"We've all gotten that." Rea had kept her mouth shut sense some mebers were more hostile to the topic than others. Zev didn't stirke her as the tpe to get hot headed over something like this. "Yeah they lead us but don't always act like .." she bit her lip closed suddnely feeling uncofntonable. "their distant at the best of times." She said quitly noting vilkas moving back towards camp.
Vilkas said nothign to them as he went aorudn the perimiter of the camp. The four of them picked up the sent and this needed ot be tkaen care of beofre anythign else happened. he got his horse and saddled up still sayign ntohign but knowing the few awkae were wathcing him.
"Bandits." Farkas said from bheind the two. "We picked them up a whil go and decided to get rid of them before they got to close." As if that expalined everhing .
The Slverhand were no better than bandits themselves. Vilkas had volunteeered to go afte rhtem, claming he needed ot mve.

"Well your a raven so what do you know?" Sonja said to the birds not picng one out in paricular. The brds cawed and hopped aobut her as she moved aobut the forest floor. "Last I chekced I wans't an errand girl or a lacky. " se muttered looking for more Deathbell. "Than again this would make my Father drop dead and roll in his grave all int he same breath. Cnat say that would be a bad thing." She muttered while searching
She was careful where she went alone, even a mage and an assassin needed to be caustious n these woods. Wolves were the least o ones worries esciaplly when ti got dark.
"So if I brahg tyou all enough food would you owe me a favor?" She asked and the bird cawed in repsonse. "That's what I thaguht."
