Coco smiled it seemed that sewing was similar to art for her, she was good at it and it was really easy and fun for her. She didn't have any problems with the assignment and was able to make a cute doll she intended to give to her girlfriend. Coco smiled and blushed thinking of Calypso, hoping she would like the gift Coco had decided to make her during class.

Caron was nervous he didn't think he would be any good at making a sewing. He looked over the materials to figure out what he would try to make.. Luckily it wasn't nearly as bad as he thought it would be and Caron was able to make a small pillow without a whole bunch of drama or stabbing his fingers with the needle.

Ellis was a studious imp, one who had never really had a problem with his clothing that didn't include growing out of it. He also had cumbersome claws that he was still figuring out how to be precise with. These truths inevitably led to him being pretty horrible at sewing, so horrible in fact that he couldn't even get the needle threaded. It didn't bother him, not in the way that failing a test he'd studied for would have, but he did feel a little silly, being forced to stay after class once he'd been guided through needle threading while his classmates moved on to more productive lessons.
When a familiar grimm sat down beside him and held up zer own unthreaded needle, Ellis chuckled and got back to his own work with an understanding nod.Quote: It took you almost the whole class just to thread the needle. The hole is just so tiny! Good thing you can't fail! Though, it does sound like you'll have to stay after class to get it done ... luckily the hole that was in your item was fairly small anyways.

Had Ayuu been asked to guess how horribly ze would do in Life Skills class on a scale of 1-10, ze might have guessed a five. Ze was a musician, after all, and many instruments took a deft hand to get anything even remotely melodic out of them. Clearly threading a needle was not playing the piano however, since ze was finding this to be the most difficult thing ze had done since performing in zer last concert.
It was only after the room had started to clear out and the grimm noticed the one other student who had also been left behind that Ayuu smiled. Picking up zer needle, thread, and holey garment, ze crossed to Ellis's side and took a seat with a grin.Quote: It took you almost the whole class just to thread the needle. The hole is just so tiny! Bebe was rather worried when she was handed the cloth she had to mend. What if she couldn't do it? But after a few false starts, Bebe was able to thread her needle and sew the hole shut. She was about to brag about her efforts to her classmates when she turned it over and noticed that on the inside, her handiwork was far less attractive. Blushing ever-so-slightly, she slowly turned it around again and handed it in quietly to the teacher.

Sewing was something Prometheus had done at home with his family, but it had been... a long time since he practiced. Plus, they sewed for functionality, not aesthetics. It really didn't surprise him that the stitching didn't look all that great on the inside when he was done, but hey, the hole was patched at least?

For whatever reason, Equinox just could not get that darn needle threaded. Try as he might, the thread kept bunching up, splitting, or disappearing every time he tried to get it through the tiny little hole. Eventually he figured out that the needle was too small for the thread...... but by then, the class was practically over. He quickly sewed up the hole, leaving class late but accomplished.

Neptune was sure that with his motor skill issues, this was going to be absolute hell on him. But surprisingly, plushie making was easy! He managed to make a ton of them, and decided he'd hand some out to the younger kids around school when he got a chance... everyone liked plushies, right?

61-89 Perfect nachos. So cheesy. The olives were a nice touch, and you didn't even get a single bite because Talfia swooped in and ate all of them. Jacintha hadn't been expecting to make perfect nachos, yet here she was with them! Hmm... now what to do with these amazing nachos that were sitting in front of her? Quickly looking from side to side to see if anyone was watching after being graded on her project, she began nibbling her nachos in secret. Oh they were so good! She could eat these all day! Too bad she only had one, or else she would share it as well.

Even though Binhdi had known which university she wanted to attend, she'd dutifully taken the tour and had made sure to speak in depth with the Grendel representative. Her paper wasn't exactly great literature, but she was confident that she could scrape a pass on the assignment.
I plan to attend Grendel University upon graduating from the Academy. I’ve always been artistic and had an interest in Fashion. Therefore, Grendel seems to be the most logical choice to make sure that I achieve my full potential. To be honest, I’ve always wanted to attend since I was little. Additionally, it’s a dream of mine to be accepted into the Custodes Textilis, because that will mean I’m good enough to make it as a designer.
I also feel that Grendel’s campus activities would be the most rewarding for me in terms of networking and truly cementing my place in the world as a designer of fine fashion. The representative I spoke with was incredibly enthusiastic about the campus and courses offered, which I feel is very important. Who would want to go to a university whose spokesperson seemed bored or apathetic?
Going to Grendel and graduating well would fulfill a lifelong dream.
Glancing over her paper one last time, Binhdi smiled a little nervously as she handed in her work.

Jonah was shocked he didn't think he knew anything about making nachos. Apparently he was wrong he managed to make a perfect batch of nachos. Still regardless Jonah still intended to become a doctor not a nacho chief.

Aiday cried out when she cut her hand dicing tomatoes. Aiday sighed she clearly wasn't a cook of any sort. She sighed and went to go clean her wound and bandage it before trying to finish making her nachos. This was kinda depressing though that Aiday couldn't make nachos without hurting herself.

Rose kept the groan to herself as their assignment was given: nachos sounded gross and way too messy. Still, she was here, and this was an assignment.... With a heavy hearted sigh she went and gathered the supplies she'd need and got to work. The assignment was relatively easy, and she finished with a surprisingly delicious smelling dish. Well, she should at least try one, right? Even if they weren't something she'd make again? One chip turned to two, then turned to ten, and then soon there was nothing left but crumbs on her plate. Oops... well, at least she knew how to make them again, right?

Mahuyah had been so excited for the trip to Asterion. There was only university for her, and that was Asterion with its majors in History, Anthroplogy, and Psychology. Though psychology interested her, her true passions were in history and anthropology as she really enjoyed the lore of the races and discovering the truths in myths. In fact, if someone where to open her bag, they would find that there was a course guide to Asterion already there, with many classes circled for her interests. She quickly picked up her pen and started writing feverishly.
After graduation, I plan on attending Asterion for a major in Anthropology, and perhaps a double major with History. I have always been fascinated with finding how lore and myths where created in various cultures, and hope to pursue this as a job, and Asterion is the university that will best aid me in that dream. Recalling from the visit, and the class that we were allowed to sit in on for a bit, it is clear that the professors are very knowledgeable and hold very thought provoking classes. I truly cannot wait to begin attending classes there.
