Hearing Chronos' words as they float past his ear tuff's Jolly's Maw snapped shut as he regained his sense. Shaking it off, he cleared his throat and did his best to regain his regality. Eyes shifted a little to the sound of claws on stone as it moved closer to them.

"Life is the game, my friend." Jolly chimed, clarifying his position on life. "One, I always do my best to win at." the Wind B'alam showed a smug grin on his maw.

It was all a matter of what he could get out of life before the other B'alam could try and take it from him.

"Though, I do enjoy what you do create, it's reward is it's own bounty it seems." Jolly grinned, after all they still did need to think of something tasty to eat or drink from that sugar cane.

"It is quite the reward." Chronos agreed. "Your words are quite humbling."

His ear flicked before he turned full attention to the hallway. A medium sized gray animal made its way through the hallway with a red strip of something swinging in it's maw. It walked on all fours with a puffy gray tail swinging contently behind it. The forepaws had massive leathery folds extending from the wrist out, much like Chronos's wings when they were folded. The digits on its forepaws were longer than the average toes on a paw, long enough to grasp objects.

"Hello Pan." Chronos watched the Bolf as it entered the room.

The small creature looked up to the dark b'alam and made a peep noise past the long strip of juicy meat in its mouth. It than looked over to Hook and made a muffled "woof" noise.

Chronos laughed. Pan had likely been there to deliver a message and received a treat for it. He recognized the bacon prepared by La Muerte... in fact he could smell its sweet savory scent. They truly were in for a treat.

"It looks like dinner is soon to be served." He looked to Hook briefly before turning back to Pan. "Is our lord to be joining us?"

The creature begun to shake its head, however the gesture was interrupted by a loud noise echoing through that halls. It turned around to face the hallway. Yes, dinner was almost ready...

"YOU KEEP YOUR PAWS OFF THAT!" La Muerte shrieked just down the hall.

Jolly let out a laugh as Chronos agreed to his words.

" Better be just my words, Tick-toc. As I am anything but such. " Killian smiled, with a tip of his head toward his friend. To laugh and speak, did well to help distract him from the close-quarters and the cave that surrounded him.

Jolly Rodger's Eye turned to the shifting of noise coming from the hallway. Turning his head, his blue gaze narrowed for a better glance. The bight orbs of his gaze widened as they took in the curious creature that approached. His head practically swiveled off to the side, as his next lowered his head to be at eye level with the thing...

Lowering himself, Jolly took steps to move off to the side and around Chronos to get closer to the creature....thing.

It was so strange looking, but yet vary fasinating. Taking a glance over to Chronos as he spoke to it, ears angled forward as 'Pan' barked. The sound caused his ears to flick back and his head to raise a little.

*Sniff Sniff*

The tuff of fur on the nap of his neck rose a little in excitement.

Hearing Chrono's laughter, Jolly's eyes quickly flicked back to his friend before looking back at the Creature.

'Lord'? Killian's angled tail flicked.

Hearing the sudden Shriek, Killian jumped as if something was going to drop on top of him. His body dropped closer to the ground, as if a great weight feel on his shoulder and hunches. Eyes widened and tail puffed.

"But mi Amor!" Xibalaba's gruff voice answered back in a whine. "It's almost time, why do take such pleasure in keeping anything good from me?"

"I only keep back from you what you yourself have chosen to be denied! We have guests!" La Muerte raged.

There was more to her words than just a scolding at a sneak for a pre-meal. La Muerte had hoped that that much was very obvious for more than just everyone else in the room.

"If you -really- want to be useful, go show our guests where we will be feasting... and me amore... " Her words turned as sweet as sugar toward the end of her sentence.
"...You harm on little fur on our guest I WILL UNLEASH MY WRATH UPON YOU!" She ended with a very promising growl. "GO!"

Pan's ears docked back at all the excessive screaming down the dark corridor he had just come from. The little familiar was hardly surprised, however that didn't make it any less painful to the ears. The red lady was sweet, but when she was mad her voice could deconstruct mountains!

"huff-eak" The bolf sighed.

He returned his gaze to the amused Chronos before shaking his head again. Just in case the message was completely lost to the commotion down the hall.

Chronos suppressed a laugh as the noises down the hall grew louder. Xibaliba really did know how to get himself in a pickle. A few of them. He knew how to get into the entire jar... Oh, but those two were meant for each other. She was sweet to his sour, and knew how to stand up to such a menacing-looking being. The right way.

"I would assume that is the dinner bell..." Chronos mused before looking down to Gabriel's bolf.
"He is a busy fellow. Give him and lady Marie my regards."

Chronos was unsure how that would go for the familiar, but he trusted bolfs to be be smart enough to relay the message in some sort of way. They were really fascinating creatures. It was a wonder he did not already have one himself.

He turned his attention back to Jolly, whom he had noted seemed interested in the little creature.

"That is Lord Gabriel's bolf, Pan. Those creatures only spawn within these caves... as far as I have seen. They are quite the useful creatures. At least, I would assume so. I have seen that one quite often... "

"Cara Bella..." Left Xibaliba "The past is in the past!" His raspy voice raised slightly in a plead. Weaver Bless the Nahlil, she never forgets!

And he just wanted one lousy chip!

The silence made while she raged on about the guest, one could only know at that moment the dark Tar was rolling his ruby eyes.

"..Yes, My Love?" Came just like chornos-work, soft and hopeful to her change of tone.

The whole cavern seemed to shake as there was no response from the sour Tahtll.

It wasn't a moment after that Xibaliba announced himself with a distasteful look and a annoyed clearing of his throat. A deep breath was taken as Pan spoke to Chronos.

"The Feast awaits..." Left Xibaliba as he closed his wings and ducked his head. Closing his eyes, he respectfully pointed his staff in the direction that one would need to go to find the bounty of food that was prepared for her guests.

Jolly looked up alarmed in the direction of where he had last seen the crimson beauty and dark mass. Ears went back, he had never heard someb'alam be so loud! Eyes quickly darted across the ceiling as if to check and look out for any fallen stone that might threaten to cave them all in. The ridge on his back intensified.

"Shiver-me-Timbers..." Left Jolly, thinking of the fun term that came up from teasing a feathered brother, when he was startled. Hint, his name is in the saying....

Swelling attention returned to Chornos as he acted like this all was as common place as a paroo in the sky!

"Is everything all well and good hear? Or is the bleeding cave going to come cashing down on me mate?!" Jolly stated in a wave of panic. This is why he didn't do close quarters, and the only thing he could think of that was worse then 'cave', was 'bleeding', because he don't like blood-so to put them both together was kind of a big deal.

Jolly's breath spiked, as eyes darted about the area and Xibaliba announced himself with a gruff clearing of the throat. Mr. Roger had all but missed the cute little interaction with the silver bolf and the talk of a 'lord'.

"You'll have to explain that last bit later, tick-tock...." Jolly spoke with a breath as he regained himself and straightened from his panicked lay. Straightening, eyes took another glance at the ceiling and checking the cave around him. Eyes jumped from Xibaliba to the silver bolf. The creature was a curious looking thing, once more distracting him of the food that waited for them.....

Chronos couldn't help but brandish a grin to Jolly's reaction. The gray bolf took the opportunity to duck out of the cave before it fell down with the next sonic boom that was too come. That is, assuming he knew the two B'alam involved, it was almost guaranteed to happen. As stealthy as a nightly breeze Pan lept toward the ledge and took off into the dark cavern ahead.

Chronos nodded to Xibaliba than turned attention bact to Jolly. There was likely not going to be any response from Xibaliba on anything involving small talk. The guy just got a lashing.

"These walls are sturdy good sir Jolly. Just be thankful you are not on the other side of that tempst of words. Imagine how he must feel..." His tone hushed as he gestured toward Xibaliba and the hall he just guided them toward. "Besides... I think you are quick enough to avoid danger should things become heated."

Chronos finished his words with a laugh than begun to follow after Xibaliba. His ear tipped toward Joly to be sure he was coming along.

La Muerte didn't bat an eye to the disgruntled Xibaliba as he left the hall. She stood her ground and remained firmly planted until he disappeared down the dark corridor. He was a good B'alam, but rough.

Once she was sure he wasn't going to cheat (he would have to be insane to do so after a scolding like that), La Muerte turned about and headed toward the dining hall. It was still in the process of being carved out, but in size it was quite spacious. The dome-like room was even wider than the entrance to the cave. It was large enough to fly comfortably in and specious to seat several beings at once. The floor was mostly flat with a rectangular shaped rise in the floor in the center of the room. The shape was imperfect as was the smoothness in the floor and ceiling. The rectangular raise in the floor was covered with waxy cylinders with a spot of light dancing atop a thin string. The light it provided was dim, but efficient in giving some brightness to the area.

The table was lined with an array of succulent dishes. A golden brown cooked Paroo was the center piece surrounded by a jucy cut of flooflao and bork. There were some greens and brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Each one smelled of savory spices and seasonings. The entire room was bathed in this alluring aroma.

La Muerte waited at the end of the rectangular structure, standing delicately as she waited for the guests to shuffle in.

Xibaliba remained still as Chronos invited and his little friend along, 'little' being kind as he was sure to have seen more bolves that were surely bigger then the soft wing. A huff quietly left the tar as he watched, no-seethed at...
....

Rolly?

What was his name again?

...

No matter, the leather winged balam didn't even care to remember his name. After all it wasn't his place to stay in the caves very long. -It- after all wasn't. His. Home.

The thought caused Xibaliba to puff his chest a little in delight. Well, at least there was that. He wouldn't be around much longer...

The sight of Toothless darting down the hall, how that black mass disturbed the corner of his ruby gaze. Reminding him that 'baby', had been adopted like how some take a Bolf under their wing...as a 'pet' . Which reminded him, that his yoliliziti seemed to be fond of collecting...pets. Surely, it was strange for another to keep another b'alam as a pet....?

Such a thought, tugged at another possibility which caused eyes to narrow upon a certain feathered wing.

Surely one 'pet' was enough.

Xibaliba grunted his displeasure, at the thought of having Golly Dodger join the tribe. His wings snapped shut as he followed after the two. The lantern that dangled closely, dimmed giving his body a ghostly green glow as he followed in darkness behind the two. Bloody eyes narrowed on his approach, as white mustache and goatee dangled in tow.

Jolly took Chronos' word about the cave being solid, and not at threat to cave in on it's self. Jolly trusted Tick-tock's word, it hadn't proven to be false so far...that and he was in his, the dark tribes domain. A tribe that his Magus didn't seem to be too trusting about. That most likely being, because they where the only others to reach their loft.

Eyes moved to take a glance up to Xibaliba as Chronos' words about him reach his ears. How openly Chronos spoke it, was somewhat amusing. It was only balanced his smile to a thin line by the lack of visible emotion that appeared on the dark one as he too heard the words. He did not seem to be amused...

Sweet, rich aromas tugged at Killian's nostrils which encouraged him to keep walking toward it, deeper and further into the cave.

"I do take pride in my speed mate..." Jolly answered to keep the conversation going, and his mind off how enclosed of a space he was in. That, and he was one to always try at play it 'cool'. if he could at all get away with it....

"Good!" Chronos chuckled. "It seems quite a skill with you! Far faster than I can even hope to fly... I do believe I am too heavy to move so fast."

Chronos shrugged with another chuckle as he thought about their physical structure. He was a bit taller and thicker than his good friend. Actually, seeing Marie (a light B'alam) next to Gabriel was quite astounding. Despite Gabriel being a magus, one could tell he was built thicker than a light tribesman. Zobeck (also a light b'alam) did not seem built as thick, but his scales seemed quite tough. How wonderful it would be to see more different types of b'alam out there! Each with their own skills. The theater could surely use different talents.

"But, if not, I am skilled in the art of distraction." Chronos laughed. "No one is faster than one not being distracted!"

A subtle way of saying 'I've got your back', but Chronos was sure Hook got the gist of it. However, the sweet and tender smell of La Muerte's cooking should easily disperse any need for distractions. The food was mouthwatering, a godsend to the olfactory!

"Ah, but I hope you get a taste of this wonderful food first... Or perhaps, not have to flee at all. It would be a great shame to have to miss on any of it."

He unfolded a wing and gave Hook a slight nudge with the edge and a laugh.

"I would fight long enough for you to at least get a full meal." He laughed whole heartedly to the claim.

La Muerte narrowed her eyes at her beloved from across the room. Though she had no ability to read minds, she knew him better than anyone else. That look on his face was one of trouble. Normally it would mean at the expense of others.

Words did not beed to be shared if he were to look over her way and catch the glare she had given him. Hopefully he knew by now that meant trouble for him should he harm anyone. Especially a guest. One should never even consider harming a guest during a meal time. Not unless they truely were unruly. These guests were pleasant. La Muerte had always liked Chronos, and his friend was a charmer. Not as charming as Xibaliba, no one can ever be as charming as that smooth-talking 'gentleman'. Even if he could be a pain in the backside.

"Please, find a seat you will be most comfortable in." La Muerte cooed to her guests. "And eat when you are ready to. Have at your share."

La Muerte offered a gentle smile as she shifted her gaze from warning her soul-bound to the rest of the guests entering the room. Her wings tucked kindly to her sides while her silky hair fell to her left side. The candle light of the room caused the flowers in her hair to appear as if they too were flickering with their own light. Her entire frame was brimming with joy. Entertaining was a blessing to her. She loved to entertain guests, especially when they seemed to leave happier from the occasion.

If only Xibaliba shared the same joy...

"Distraction can only do so much in keeping rocks from falling..." Jolly smiled to his friend as he did his best to what seemed like to comfort him. It was a start, and the food made for a wonderful distraction.

"As do I." Killian smiled letting his attention turn to the feast that the lovely La Muerte had set up for them all. Honestly where did she find the skill?! Truely the Weaver had blessed her to know such a thing.

eyes turned back to Chonos as he told him how he would find off stone and crumbling to make sure he would get a full meal. That sure was nice of him.

"That, is truely too kind tick-tok." The feather wing went on to say, However. "Well meant, however and valiant indeed. Thank you." Jolly smiled with a nod and went on to follow the beautiful nahtil's instruction.

Taking his seat, he pulled his eyes from the crimson beauty to the meal that was before them. Hook could feel his maw moisten as his thoughts where distracted from any cave-in that might happen.

---

Xibaliba found himself rolling his eyes as he felt his beloved narrow her eyes at him. It wasn't till he actually caught the said gaze that his eyes snapped from their roll and his brow raised. It was one thing to know she was glaring at him, and another to actually see it. Swallowing, Xibaliba let out a exasperated breathed though his nostrils and adverted his eyes from La Muerte as she welcomed their....-her- guest to sit down and eat.

"Yes, Indeed find yourself comfortable..." Xibaliba echoed softly in his gruff voice, he seemed to taunt the idea of something happening when they did.

"...If you dare." He chimed in once more with a chuckle, "After all this feast is fit for a king." Xi mused as he prowled past the table to where his other half was.

"Right, My love?" Xibaliba spoke sweetly, before his smile twisted to match his cankered goatee. His tail turned and twisted about in clever twisted thought.

"How would a said King feel knowing such a feast is made for guest and not he." The b'alam mused as he looked back over to where the other two approached the table. He stopped in brave distance from his dear, the claws on his wings fiddled with the cane in his grasp.

Chronos paused a moment as he thought about what Hook had just pointed about about the attention span of a rock. A wide grin widened on his maw as once again his amusement grew.

"Fascinating!" He exclaimed. "Yes, that would be a feat wouldn't it? Distract a rock while it is falling, preventing it from hitting the ground. Oh how I would love to see this!"

His ear swiveled toward Xibaliba as he cooed to his wife yet skillfully shot threat after threat toward Hook. Keeping his face pleasant as it had been when addressing Hook and bis voice even more so he chimed in.

"Our kind Lord would be honored that such a guest is present in his domain. I would think Lord Gabriel would be honored that such a brave soul has graced his halls and shown so much respect. Is it not our Lord's wishes to be a gracious host? It would be such a pity if a guest would be mistreated to the point of never wanting to return to our Lord's land. I would think that would put him more on edge than a guest tasting the fine dining of our clan."

He continued to smile pleasantly knowing Xibalilba would have gotten the hint to cool down a little. Chronos liked Xibaliba. He was one of the more fascinating beings within the tribe. He was also one of the few b'alam he would call friend. However, he did not wish for the wind b'alam who he also found fascinating, to be too threatened to return.

La Muerte shot her beloved a thin eyed glance as he once again begun to pester her guest. There would be a grand talk later once their guests had left. All the promise of that was carried in her one little look. They may have been in the Lord's land, but they were in her home and enjoying her cooking. A skill she had worked on and mastered of her own teaching.

Thankfully for Xibaliba, Chronos had managed to put the situation in much kinder words than her own candy coated voice could have. Especially when dealing with her hansom tar hearted mate.

"Today we have a guest. This is a special day.. my dear-" She turned her attention to Hook. Her eyes softened while she gave him her full attention. A generous smile warmed her features. "-Please, enjoy this feast. I hope that it will bring you energy and a warm and happy belly."

Xibaliba's brow raised and his crule cold ruby eyes rested on Chronos. One he didn't dare question, No. To do so would be something that would cast him amoung the locked fools he took care of. Leather wing claws danced and fidgeted a little on the purple staff that they carried.

"A pity really-" The words started to leave Xibaliba, before halting completely as he felt the burning stare of his mate. Swallowing he released a breath.

"...that our King could not be here for such a 'charming' event." A twisted smile twitched at the corner of his maw as he did the best to lighten up his tar-like appearance. It was a smooth seqway from a more treacherous thought. A breath left his nostrils before he finished his paces to stand next at his Amor.

---

Jolly's ears couldn't help by lower and flatten slightly as Xilbaliba darkly loomed nearby. A weak smile rested on his maw, as his blue eyes did his best not to focus on the hinted threat. Instead they looked back to the sweet Nahtil, he trusted along with his friend wouldn't let the dark matter do anything to him. It perhaps would be best to ignore the Tahtill.....

Roger was out of his element, and for the most part frozen in his seat as if any movement might help cox a rock to fall on his head.
Swallowing, Jolly blinked and nodded to La Muerte's words.

"Thank you, you...three are really too Kind." A stray eye glanced over to the Dark Matter as Jolly was sure to include him. Perhaps a hope to get on his acceptable side? If Xilbaliba even had such a thing.

Long tan tail, remained stilled behind him and slightly puffed.
