Katrina padded around the apartment searching quietly nosing through the humans closets as she explored curious to see how this women lived and wondering if she even had and books for studies on the supernatural. She finally made her way into the woman's room hopping up on the bed and climbing onto her chest while she slept staring down into her face her red eyes gleaming slightly like low burning embers in the darkness of the bedroom. Katrina waited for the women to awaken it was time to try something fun.

Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
Amanda woke to find the cat setting on her. She laughed softly as the petted the cat a few times. "Morning. Hope you slept well." She said with a yawn. Slowly she crawled out of bed and went to the closet. It had a few pairs of shoes, and clothes, but mostly it had piles of books. She grabbed some clean clothes and headed for the shower. "I'll go buy you some real food after a bit kitty." Amber called out as the hot water started to steam up the bathroom.

Katrina sighed at the human hurrying to the bathroom half surprised by the humans response to her eyes up close in the dark most people where bothered by them. She fallowed into the room as it started steaming up she mewed loudly hopping up onto the sink as she looked up at the women trying to make eye contact.

She turned to see Katrina setting there. Walking over, Amanda pet her softly as she looked into her eyes. "Now little kitty, we have to set some rules. Things like no scratching, no jumping up on things, and no making load noises. I haven't paid a deposet yet." She said before turning and hoping into the shower. " pretty eyes. I wounder what bread of cat you are."

I will try to be quite from now on I don't want to cause you any trouble." her voice whispered softly. Katrina sat tense hoping that the woman wouldn't be to afraid.

She pulled the shower curtain down as she wrapped it around herself. The water was getting everywhere. "You.. Can...talk." She said slowly as a mixer of emotions sprawled across her false. "What are you?!" She hissed, unsure if she should be upset or not. It was just one more reason to not trust the monsters out there.

I well I'm just someone who well hopes that maybe I can find a friend." she said softly in Amanda's Mind. Katrina lowered herself much in a submissive manor.Katrina looked up at Amanda "I well I didn't speak earlier because well I didn't want you to be afraid and well you had a gun...I don't like to fight." she added gently in Amanda's mind before mewing softly.

Amanda slowly turned off the water as she sunk down into the tub. "The union isn't going to be happy." She said with a sigh. Looking back up at the cat, Amanda tried to think things through. She didn't seem dangerous. But she was more than she seemed. "Ok..." She said slowly. "You can stay, but I want to know everything about you."

Grabbing a towel she started to dry off and get dressed. She was less than pleased but she wasn't going to just send the cat on out the door. "Lets start with... are you a shifter?" Amanda asked as she got around. "What other powers do you have? what do you eat?" She went about her morning routine like nothing had changed. Even though the cat changed everything. "I'll wait to tell the union. But if they find out and I didn't tell them.. then we both would be in big trouble."

I kind of am a shifter but well I'm not like the werewolves..." she said softly "I well I have a few things I can do as powers you know I can talk to your mind but well I can also see other supernaturals it well it's why I went to you last night I well I wanted to try to help you if that Vampire tried something. I well I can also give bad luck to people..." she said gently "I well I eat almost anything I've been traveling so much I eat what I can but if you can spare anything I don't need special food just normal people food for the record cat food from stores is well nasty I don't know why humans think cats like it that much I mean can't you tell it's going to taste bad by the smell?" she asked softly. some what on a little tangent. "I well I can with study learn and cast magic spells as well but well I mostly study defensive magics to protect me." she said softly. She took a deep breath tensing ready to bolt for the closet as she decided to share one secret... "There is one thing but I promise it's not true... some people say that well that my kind are connected with demons but it's not true I've never done anything with demons." she said a touch of sadness and pain entering the soft voice.

Every so often Amanda would nod or let out a little "Mhm.." To let Katrina know she was listening. When she spoke about being contracted with a demon, Amanda came to a slow stop. "Well, if it turns out to be true then I'll take care of you. But from the down of your voice I believe you." As she spoke the phone rang. "Hello.. at the docks?... on my way." She didn't look happy as she put her phone away. "Ok, I'll leave you some money, I don't have much food. Just don't leave me a beer. There is some trouble and I have to head out." She slapped about 40 dollars on the table as she clipped her gun and badge on her belt.

"If things get out of hand I can't protect you. But I'm sure you won't be the one needing protecting. Also I can't be seen caring around a cat at a crime scene.' she said "But you can come just stay out of sight." Amanda headed for the door and opened it up. "If your coming then lets go, I'm in a rush." She said waiting for Katrina to fallow. She was braking more rules than she could count right now. But somehow it didn't seem to matter.

She leapt up bouncing from furniture till the small cat could perch on her off handed shoulder before drawing upon her essence as she cast a spell fading from view though Amanda would be able to feel her light weight on her off handed shoulder. "Does this work?" she asked in Amanda's mind... "um and if you want if you focus a thought towards me I will be able to hear it while we are connected that way people don't think your talking to your self..."
