Nearing the school, Andrei and Kiyomi noticed all the unfamiliar faces, the faces of people they do not even know. Andrei was not used to being a stranger to everyone, he's always had at least one friend he could talk to. It was as if he had magically turned into a first year student again, except this time the students didn't even look like the type of people he grew used to. He felt like he stood out more than anything, thinking people would see him and wonder what land he hails from. He could not get over the thought of people staring at him as if he was an alien of some type, but then he saw Jacob, and Aya. They stood out to him, more than any of the other students, for the same reason he feared he would stand out. He shrugged, and continued into the school.
Though, Andrei didn't seem to like anything about Gakko, as usual. Kiyomi was as excited as she had ever been, she was hopping and skipping around as if she had just into a rabbit. If anything brought attention to their way, it would be Kiyomi's excitement. Andrei thought Kiyomi couldn't be any more noticeable...until...she then started saying hello to everyone who nearby. Of course, she made sure to use her newly favorite Japanese words.
"Konichiwa! Konichiwa! Konichiwa! KONICHIWA!!! Konichiwa..'
Some students smiled, some waved, and some just had a look of shock when this random girl just hopped over and greeted them. Andrei just let out a sigh and kept walking, as is nothing was happening. It seemed as if he didn't care about Kiyomi talking to everyone around, but in his mind his face was already red from constantly slamming his palm into it. He just wanted the day to end already.
He approached the class schedule, and found his name. After inspecting the classes he was in, he was off to his locker. This was where Kiyomi gave him a hug, against his will of course, before parting ways. Andrei finally had some peace as he scanned the hallways for his locker, and began walking towards it.

It was the screeching sound of the alarm the caused her to shoot out of bed, but at no good expense. It was her late alarm going off. A tumbled mess of brown hair and bedraggled nightwear stumbled out of bed, smashing a fist against the shut off button to her alarm. It went silent with a little chirp.
She had even timed herself for this kind of emergency: it would take her no longer than three minutes to be ready and out the door. 31 seconds, and her hair was getting brushed, skirt halfway hanging off her hips, and a sloppy glob of toothpaste smeared on her toothbrush. 1 minute and 47 seconds, shirt was on, hair neatly braided into one plait, spit, rinse. 2 minutes and 16 seconds. The girl was ready for school, her uniform straightened out considerably. Both breakfast and lunch were stuffed in her schoolbag and in hand.
And other person would have normally hurried down the stairs, but Christina had other plans in mind. She didn't hesitate as she swung over the railing, skidding down the side of the stairwell wall. An old woman startled as the girl hit the ground and rolled, exploding out of the bushes and hauling down the road full tilt.
Just my bloody luck. Mum would probably skin me if she knew I was this late. Worst part is, I feel like a leper. How do you communicate with an entire school of people when your vocabulary extends no further than 'good morning', 'thank you', and 'I don't understand'!?
Christina's mad sprint to the school only took her a few minutes. Stopping to rest against the entry gates, the girl panted mildly, observing those around her. Friends meeting up with old friends, a few idly milling about, and of course, her. She felt more out of place here than she had ever had. before. The sudden looming feeling made her sit down, hard. It was going to take a while to get used to this place, and so far, she had nothing to go off of.
Remembering that she was nearly late, she stood up and began to mingle with the crowds of people looking for their locker. She was happy to move along with the group, rifling through the many registration papers in the bag. Only one was missing. Christina had her schedules for all of her classes, but she still couldn't read Japanese very well. With a tired sigh, she scrubbed her face with her hands. This was going to be a long day.

"See you around Saiyori."
He watched as she walked away and wondered what kind of impression he had made. He always wished he had the power to know what others were thinking. Alas he was gifted in a different way.
He too made his way into the school, finding his schedule and locker assignment. Before long he was sitting in his first class of the day, staring out the window. It was nice to see his friends again but he had other things on his mind. He had a payment coming up and it looked like he'd barely get by.
Seriana smiled at Jacob and bowed.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Seriana."
Seriana waved as Aya left and shortly after saw Kairi. Looking at her phone she realized that they really needed to get going.
"C'mon Kairi, we gotta go!"

Kairi's attention was drawn elsewhere when she heard her name. Looking over, she saw Aya and Seriana staring at her. She then straghtened up after catching her breath and smiled.
"Hi, guys. Yeah, but I'm feeling better."
It was the she noticed a guy standing behind Aya and asked who it was. When Aya explained, Kairi chuckled and looked at Jacob, smiling.
"Well, if you want, I'd be happy to tudor you."
Kairi wasn't the top of her class, but she still got good grades and her memory was nearly photographic, at least when it came to subjects she likes inside and outside of school. Her smile was quickly interupted by a coughing fit, for which she covered her mouth and hoped it didn't worry her friends since it sounded a lot worse than it was. Once she covered, Kairi reassured them she was fine before another girl, a first year appeared saying Konichiwa before skipping off again.
"Someone's happy."
Not long after that, she saw Isamu and greeted her as she walked by. Kairi's attention was drawn back to her friends when Aya spoke about having the same class.
"I do too."
As Aya was walking away, waving for them to join, she heard Seriana.
"Right."
Nodding, Kairi followed them inside. She was also hopping for the same classes as them.

*Saito walked briskly to the school gates of Gakko High. He passed up many other students who were busy meeting up with their friends after the long break. Saito was an exception to this general rule*
*He had no friends. No particular group of individuals that he was comfortable with. He made no attempt in trying to learn people's names or anything. There was only one club that he was a part of in the high school: StreetSwift. That was the school's free-running club. They would travel all over the city, running dangerous routes and utilizing their bodies to get from point A to point B. Saito, for whatever reason, found solace in this club. While he didn't speak to anyone in the club, the sport was satisfying enough*
*Passing up a group of girls that looked like they were in his class, the boy continued to walk. The younger female students had already begun their usual chatter about him. To them, and to a few members of his class, he was the "Silent Hottie". Because he was dark and mysterious, that drew attention to him whether he wanted it or not. It bugged him, but it was little he could about than keep moving forward*
*Once he got inside the school, he headed to his locker and changed out his shoes. He then made his way over to the schedule and saw where his classes would be. He was on his way to 3-C first it would seem*
------------
*Yousei and Saiya had arrived to the school just in time. The bell was going to ringing soon. The blue-haired boy smiled as he looked at the high school building. It was familiar to him, and he couldn't wait to get back into the swing of things*
*Saiya, on the other hand, was excitedly nervous. The building was huge and lots of other students were going inside. She calmed herself down, but took her brother's hand anyway. She knew he would protect; she was never wrong about that. The pair made their way inside the building and headed for their respective lockers, which wasn't that far from each other. They then read of their class schedules and said their farewells. Yousei promised to meet back up with Saiya at lunch. The blonde agreed and the two went off to their respective classrooms*

As the group walked up to the class board Aya noticed old, and new faces alike. Like the 'Silent Hottie' Saito and a few of her friends from the track club. Then were a few new foreigner she'd never seen before, one being what looked as a 1st year greeting everybody really happily and loudly. It only made Aya giggle a bit to herself. Once they reached the board she scaned for her and Jacobs names. She found them, but very wasn't two happy with what she found. They weren't in the same class. She was in class 3-C and he was in class 3-B. She let out a bit of a pout.
Aya - Aw, seem's we won't be in the same class Jacob.
Jacob mearly shrugged. It matted not to him. As he saw it, as he saw it, now he could skip class without her knowing about it. So it was a bit of a blessing in desguise for him. All he did to respond to Aya's comment was yawn a bit. Aya just shook her head. She knew he was probably thinking about skipping a class or two now. She wanted to get smart with him but that wasn't her at school. So instead she just smiled his way.
Aya - Just make sure you go to class.
Jacob - yea, yea. Gez, you sound like mom. See you at lunch, maybe...
He then turned and walked away, waving his head at the girls as he left.

Isamu took her seat in the middle of the row closest to the windows, giving little concern to the few students that had made their way in. Her notebook and pencil stood ready for the beginning of class, but her mind wandered as she tried not to overhear some of the gossip going on around her. A warm smile and quick conversation were unavoidable, so she simply followed the cues; asking about what this one or that one had been doing over summer break. She dodged the return question with a familiar lie: Spending the summer on the campus of MIT with her parents, who were there for a research project. Beginning to drone on about technical scientific terms regarding progressive genetics and evolution brought polite disinterest from her friends giving her the breathing room Isamu wanted in the first place. After a while, she lazily rested her head in her hand, staring blankly out the window.
A few more students were making their way into the the classroom; most faces were familiar, some were not. Her expression of slight boredom did not change even though her curiosity was piqued. They were simply furtive glances, all the while returning her gaze to the bright buildings and trees outside.

Saiyori made her way into the building and went to her locker to change into her school shoes before making her way through the school to where the faculty office was and where she could find her home room teacher and finish up what little there was to the transferring process. Signed a couple papers, was instructed on the few changes to her schedule and then off she went to the class she was assigned to.
The class room was on the fourth floor, so it was a bit of a walk up stairs. Each grade had their own floor essentially, besides what specialty classes there were, like music, dance, computer science, art, and what not. once she reached the forth floor she was being greeted by all sorts of fellow forth years, some of which remembered her, others who had merely heard of her. She was glad that she hadn't been forgotten after all, and realized just how much more careful she'll have to be this final year, realizing just how many seemed to recognize her.
I can only hope those two aren't causing any trouble while I'm away... I seriously cannot leave them alone for more then two minutes...

Seriana had barely made it to her class on time, or so she had thought. She was momentarily confused as she looked around and didn't notice any of the students. That was until she heard someone laughing behind her. Turning she saw her brother and immediately realized her mistake.
"Crap! Wrong floor!"
Bursting out the door she flew downstairs and made her way to the correct room, her face beat red from embarrassment.
Back upstairs Sorin laughed uncontrollably for a few seconds before calming down, while other students chuckled. He smiled and resumed looking out the window. Somehow she was always there to make him feel better.

Kairi chuckled as Aya teasing Jacob before scanning the board. Some of the names se did know, but never actually knew the person. Saito for example. She had seen him around school, but never talked to him. He seemed to enjoy his personal space more than the girl did and Kairi wasn't the type to approach anyone unless they approached her first. Kairi soon found her, Seriana and Aya's names listed and she smiled.
"Seems like we're in the same class, though."
When they were heading up the stairs to the third floor, Kairi noticed Seriana continuing to the fourth and called after her.
"Seri, wrong way."
Seeing how, she didn't stop, Kairi just sighed and continued to class
"Must want to surprise Soren."
Once reaching 3-C, Kairi took her seat near the window. It wasn't long after that Seriana came into the room, embarrassed. When she sat down, Kairi leaned foward and whispered jokingly in her ear
"I hope you told Soren Hi for me."

Digging the heels of her palms into her eyes, Christina sighed again. The first bell was about to ring, pushing her into a more frustrated, irritable, and generally embarrassed. A few late students looked up at the list on the wall, rushing to their lockers.
Glancing around, she noticed a boy about her age making his way to a locker. He wasn't Japanese, she determined, and squeezed her hands together. Might as well ask. Shifting, Christina gripped her bag and walked over.
"O-ohayō... Could you help me find my locker? I'm having trouble... reading the kanji." The girl kept her eyes on the ground, her voice almost at a mumble by the time she was finished speaking. She stiffened as his gaze turned to her.
Scary...

In no time she reached her classroom and made her way over to a seat by the window, which happened to be two seats ahead of where Sorin sat. Setting her bag down in her lap she went about and pulled out a note book and a mechanical pencil before placing her bag on the hook on the side of the desk.
It wasn't long before the bell sounded and the last rush of students came poring into the classroom.
Her eyes shifted to stare out the window as she let her thoughts drift a moment. it wasn't long before the teacher showed up and class introductions began.
There was your typical mix of student types in class 4-A, from nerd types to athletic types, to the socially awkward to the 'chatty-kathys'. Some students even managed to fit into more then one of those categories as their introductions made apparent.
Saiyori's own introduction was no different, as she stated her subject strengths to be math and computer science, and it looking into rejoining the archery club. How she enjoys sports and loves to cook. She touched on the subject of wanting to become a business major in college. finishing with a soft smile and a slight bow, she once more took her seat, allowing the next student to be called upon.
As the rest of the class continued on with introductions, she let her thoughts run astray once again as her eyes navigated towards the window.
Despite today being an easy and rather uneventful first day, it seemed she was more then occupied with other worries.

Jacob entered class 3-B and his eyes scaned the room. He could still feel a few glares from some of the guys. He figured they must think that he was Aya's boyfriend. At first when walking up to the school he found it a bit funny, but not it was just plain annoying. He made his way over the window seats and sat behind the girl they passed earlier, Isamu was her name if he could remember.
Jacob - Great, I sit behind the smartest girl in the class. Oh well, at least I can just look out the window all class....
He gaze then went out the window. It was a nice scenery here in Japan compared to back in California. Maybe this is why his mom really wanted him to come here. He was the new guy, no ill will towards him, no 'hits' on him, nothing like that. It really was a lot more peaceful.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Aya walked to class along with Kairi and Seriana untill Seriana paniced a bit when looking down at her watch. Along with Kairi she called out to Seriana that she was going to the wrong floor but it was too late. The girl just innocently giggled, oh how she missed school life over the summer. Aya took her seat one row over and a seat up from Kairi. She also poked a bit at Seriana when she returned.
Aya - We have to finish our 3rd year first before we take class up there Seriana.
She followed the statement by a playfull, but innocent giggle. This was Aya at school, "Miss Perfect" dubbed by most guys. She did have a feeling that wasn't going to last long with the return of Saiyori, but Aya didn't mind seeing how she looked up to her as well.

Surprised to see someone talking to him already, Andrei turned his attention to a girl that seemed rather shy as she approached him. She also seemed to not be from Japan, something they have in common He smiled lightly, and replied.
"Sure, I might be able to help."
He may not have known much Japanese, but he had heard enough of his father's and sister's ramble to know a little. He had remembered the time he had asked his father to help him read his school papers, and he still remembered how his father taught him how to read numbers in kanji.
"Do you have a paper with your locker number on it?"
While Andrei tried to help the girl find the locker, Kiyomi on the other hand had already gotten what she had needed and was off to her first class. Kiyomi was still as excited as ever to finally experience high school life, but that was quick to change once she took her seat in class. She took a seat in the far left of the second to last row, and watched as the teacher waited for the class to take their seat. Kiyomi was already starting to get bored, and class hadn't even started yet.

Isamu gave Jacob a slight knowing smirk as he took his seat behind her. It seemed she made the same assumption about Aya as the rest. She turned herself around to face him, intentionally interrupting his daydreaming, unable to resist the curiosity. The low comment he uttered perplexed her. "Don't know what you heard, but I'm not that smart. I'm Isamu by the way." The unintended flattery brought out more of her old personality. "I will clue you in on a little tip since it's your first day. Our teacher Mr Tanaka has a voice that is well known to put even the most attentive student to sleep. Don't get caught, unless you enjoy holding buckets of water in the hallway."
The conversation eventually turned to the crux of the matter. In her usual playful way. She crafted the question in her mind before speaking, trying not to sound mean or too sarcastic. In reality, she really liked and respected Aya as a person. "So, how did you meet Miss Perfect?" A little wink followed, in order to convey the levity of her question.
