Was it used or one of the original or elite models?

surprised I got mine from Amazon. Their prices are better than Walmart.


gonk The repair fee is that much? I bought mine a little over a year ago. The new slim model with the Jasper chip. So far I've had no problems aside from a couple freezes or problems relating to clearing the system cache. Maybe I should rush to beat my games then sell this 360 while it still has value. Their new console comes out next year so 360's will plunge in value soon.

Yeah I think I read there's something inside that now detects when the system is in danger and automatically shuts it down for safety.

hmm let me break down for yea:

1st Xbox - Red Ring of Death within first week.
2nd Xbox - Never would connect to Live, not sure what the problem was, but whatever had a Warrant lol.
3rd Xbox - Had for about 1 1/2, got the E74 Error.
4th Xbox - Upgraded from a 20 Gigabyte Pro to a 250 Gigabyte Elite, due to my version being obsolete at the time, and the price went down $100. So I basically got an Elite for the price of what my original was long ago.

This is where I'm at right now. xD
