Tapping a finger to her chin, she took a moment before nodding in agreement. Yer right- ya did do better on tha' last one. That's because you were just watching her moves, boil. It humored her that he'd be envious wrong sin, west enough to mimic the ghoul, knowing she was better. Somehow she felt he was holding himself back. He didn't have the sort of issues she had with dancing in public, right? He'd done so at prom as well... Once again on the arrows, she selected a song with an obvious title ; just seemed appropriate. There was a definite beat to this one and she swiftly moved just as she had the previous time, if not a bit more. Her tail swayed around to the motions as well as she went from arrow to arrow. The game prompted her of a combo and she gave a short Whoo~! at the notification. When the song ended, she leaned over to check West's score. Hmm~... we'll definitely keep workin' at'it. Fer now- maybe a drinks a good idea. Don't wanna... ya know, git dehydrated. This game would certain stir a sweat on the tatzel and she thought it best to take a break for now, simply watching the others play. She made her way over to the snack bar and returned to the wrath demon with an offered can of Mad Dr.Peeper. Let's see what they do fer now. Good ta observe other peoples movements too ta pick things up. That was how she'd learned her dancing and fighting skills. Worked for her, then it could work for him. He squinted at the screen as their next song began. It wasn't something he would have picked himself, but he called upon his wings again anyway, certain that they were the key to Dance Domination. West stomped and spun and stomped until the end, and as their scores tallied he tried to seem utterly disinterested in the outcome. As the stupid machine declared her the winner again, the wrath demon slammed his open palm hard on the padded bar behind him.
"Keep workin' at s**t!" he hissed at Levi's back as she went to get him a drink. When she returned, West continued his tirade. "Thing's clearly broken." He gestured angrily at Lark and Demi as they took their turns, splashing a bit of his drink on the already sticky floor. "There's no way I'm learnin' crap from Weirdo and the puppy." He glared and sighed, the sound coming out as more of a growl.

Like a few others, Lark had been drawn to the blinking lights. Really she was trying to familiarize herself with the area surrounding the school and she'd stumbled upon the scarecade by pure happenstance.
Tucking her hat in the waistband of her pants, Lark figured that the DDD looked like a simple enough game.
Boy, was she wrong. Simple? Nah. Easy? Shoot, no.

"I need more dancey dancey time!" Damien howled as he came across the barely occupied machine again. It was starting to become a addiction, an addiction for his feet.
And all the power of his d**k stomping boots went into tapping the buttons on the pad as its arrows aligned up and found the miracle of the machine.
The balance bar that was in reaching distance. "This Bar, is such a life saver." he chuckled out as the game began to close up the round, the score wasn't as magial as he had hoped it would be, then again, playing on hard mode wasn't a walk in the park.
His lunged gasped for air that it missed as he decided to just sit by the side of the flashing console while he caught his breath. "its open, now!"

Willow had been in the area passing by when the music caught her ears. It was rather loud in her opinion as curiosity got the better of her and she headed over towards the noise.
Her ears perked forward when she saw the contraption Demi was playing on, her tail flickered as she pondered there was a small crowd but it wasn't so many people that she decided it wouldn't hurt giving the game a try...
"Hm... sooo...." She paused looking to see how to operate the machine. It looked technically simple enough but she wasn't really sure. The only way to know for sure was to test it out. The tigress eventually convinced herself to try the game while no one was playing.
The Byakko got tangled up in her feet a few times and tripped at least once, however she paused and stared at her score. Which was an EPIC FAIL, even with a D- she'd barely pass... She eyed the machine and moved off of it hands on her hips. Obviously she wasn't the most coordinated student when it came to that particular game.

Xander had been shuffling slowly along, hands buried deep within his pockets and shoulders slouched forward. He had only recently arrived at the academy and had been spending most of his free time exploring the area. It took ages at the pace he was going but hey, he really didn't have anything better to do at this point. The noise is what had attracted him to this place. For some reason, he always felt the need to investigate loud noises. He slowly raised his head as he approached the scarecade, red tye dangling loosely from his tattered shirt collar. The noise was music, and talking. There was a somewhat large gathering of others here! This cheered him up enormously. He loved being around big groups. It made him feel so much more comfortable to be surrounded by others. He picked up his pace slightly, actually lifting his feet up off the ground rather then dragging them along, and straightened his shoulders. Once he arrived to the interior, he made his way over to where it appeared several students were hanging out, and eyed the machine that was emitting all of the noise. It was a DDD machine. Of course, he had read about the game..but he'd never actually considered trying it for himself. He really abhorred exercise of any kind, and this definitely looked like it could be a bit strenuous. But he had a chance to make friends...to hang out with a large group as he'd been craving to do all day. Quashing his own personal displeasure towards physical activity, he climbed aboard the machine as soon as it was vacant and it looked as though nobody else was going to. Aware that the others may be watching him, he paused before making his selection. He knew that there was no way he could keep up to the pace of the more difficult songs, so he sheepishly hit the easy button, and selected a song that he thought he could handle. It had actually gone fairly well! The beat wasn't too fast for him to keep up with, and he actually didn't have to move around nearly as much as he thought he would. Beaming, he stepped down from the machine, and buried his hands into his the pockets of his baggy, torn up jeans once again. "That wasn't so bad!"

Given the red-haired boil's sour disposition, Mort wondered briefly if somehow, inadvertently, he had caused it. There was no rhyme or reason to this, only that the feeling of discord coming from the demon was enough to offset his high levels of happiness. Mort did want to ask if maybe he wanted tips, but . . . that last growled sentence told him it wasn't a good idea. Not a good idea at all.
Meeep. He didn't know a game could rile someone up like that!
"Y-Yeah, try again!" he encouraged Zurine, taking his eyes off the angry boil and back to the new participants on the dance floor. Again the zombie cheered as each student finished, regardless of the score - he was even a little exhilarated to see several get close to his own. Proud as he was of the accomplishment, what good was a game without friendly competition? "Dancey dancey, yes! Good stuff," Mort agreed with the hellhound, grinning as the boil came off winded. "Feels good exercise."
Once the reaper ghoul, undead boil, and the tiger-ish ghoul were done, he motioned them over to their side of the "audience". "Do want tips?" he asked, a bright light in his otherwise somewhat opaque eyes. "Is great game, e-especially with practice. You close to own score!" he added cheerily to the Xander.

As several other came along and tried the game - some with great sucsess others with a bit less luck, Zurine joined in with Mort on cheering along for everyone, in the end really with the music and the dancing the scores just didn't seem to register quite as much as the fun did - although a few people seemed a bit irked at theirs - Once she felt comfortable enough to try again the padfoot decided to give it a second go.
She was pleased to see she did a bit better this time around - perhaps all that watching had pid off with a few tips after all! And this time she didn't trip which for Zurine was a victory all in it's own anyways. Beaming she vacated the machine and moved over to the side again to watch some others give it a go.

She'd been in the room yesterday and had only played for a brief time, seeing as Chuppi didn't know what was going on and found that all the spinning and dipping and trying to match the lights and sounds was harder than she thought it would be. It was also way, way more fun and she was determined to give it another try since Mort seemed to like it so much (Chuppi was easily swayed by her friends, it was rather sad).
Stepping up after watching so many amazing people going, she did what she thought she could on a slightly different song. . . and found that she actually did better! She was somewhat beaming with pride as she stepped off to let someone else have a turn, knowing that as soon as it was open she'd want to try again and see if she could do even better. Perhaps the more she played eventually she could get a top score?

As Lark stepped off of the machine she caught sight of Levi and ... what had Levi called him? Lark couldn't remember if the demon's name had ever been mentioned. Didn't matter. With a happy grin, Lark waved at the duo.
"Ahh, bingo," she called to Levi, fist-pumping at the tatzel's score. It was a bloody nice score, and it prodded Lark to give 'er a go once more.
Hopping back on the machine, Lark gave it her very best go. This time her score was much, much better, and with a huge beaming grin, Lark made her way to stand by Levi.
"I ain't much fer dancin'," she chuckled, breathless, "but I gotta say this thing 'spretty fun!"

The sight of Seeing West and Levi hope around on the machine was enough to keep the hell-hound in stitches as he laughed at West. "You can do it, don't give up grumpy!" he cheered on quietly from his spot n the floor. he was frankly sure that the tatzel's tail was giving Levi too much of a advantage in the simple game. Soon after came a sight that Damien didn't expect to ever see. Zombies in the scarecade. Didn't they have firearms in here? the last thing he wanted to see was a real life headshot. "It is isn't it?" Damien gave the undead boil a grin at his interest in the game, already forgetting that he was up on the pad not long ago. "You should go try it again." he mentioned off hand as he picked himself off the ground with a audible groan. Watching a game was almost as fun as being on the pad as a reaper the pup never saw before was on there, going at it and he in turn was by the side, shadowing her every step. "hey you're not bad at this!" It was an impressive score that she put up on there. It was enough to light the fire in his competitive side as he hopped onto the pad with a flourish and pressed it for a new track and by the end it, he was clutching the back bar for dear life, panting like a hound in heat. Mort grinned at Damien and nodded. Well he supposed he'd had a big enough break to try again. "Mkays! Lesee . . ." He stepped up onto the platform and stretched a tag, noting his legs were a little trembly. Let's see, a song he didn't know for some expansion . . .
To anyone watching (especially those who had seen his performance before), it was almost miserably pitiful to see the zombie shuffle about now. Where had that groove gone? Was it because he was attempting to try and show the ones who had not played before some tips?
Either way, Mort all but collapsed off the stand.

Xander directed his grin over to the other undead boil, Mort, and then proceeded to wait for a chance to jump on board again. It wasn't long before he climbed back up to the machine, contemplating whether he should attempt a harder song, or just stick to the easy stuff. He still felt he had absolutely no chance of doing well if he went for something with a quicker beat, so in the end, he selected yet another song (oh ya, he totally went there) on easy, but decided to try to pick up the pace maybe just a little bit. He managed to do better this time then the time before. He reflected that perhaps playing a game like this might improve his reflexes and quicken his actions and so might indeed prove to impose a more positive affect on his day to day life. As he stepped down, the grin lit up his face yet again, and he shuffled over towards Mort. He was pleased to see that the boil seemed to be fairly friendly. "My score would not be so good, if I had tried a level that was as hard as the one you did." he said, as he reached out a hand towards the boil. "My name's Alexander, but most just call me Xander, or Alex. Just got myself enrolled at the Academy recently" ((Attempt: Day 2, Attempt 1 Score: 28+15(all evens)=43 o__o Minis SN: Seussi))

Yep, it was an ego blow. Levi just smiled this time as it was apparent that if she didn't show a little respect for him, he'd walk out in a huff. It was as she took another sip of her soda that the reaper ghoul called out to her. Her ears perked up in attention to the summon and responded with just as much enthusiasm. AYE~! Bingo yerself thar, stranger! A short cackle followed and the tatzel waved right back. She watched Lark dance and noted the same score.
Ain't bad 'at all, nope. If'a didn't know any better I'd say yew danced before on one'a 'em. It was both a question and an observation. Damned' good workout, eh? Still wager I got'a few more goes in 'me though. She certainly wasn't going to admit to practicing in dance as it was the technological aspect that seemed to put her at a loss. That- and the fact that she wouldn't openly discuss her practicing ghoulie dances daily in public. Prom was all the cowboil's fault. Yep.
Of course, there was no stopping the hound from laughing at the wrath demon's gaming attempts. Demi hopped back on the machine and gave the thing a real hoot n' hollering' good run as one of the other students had earlier. KEKEKE~ Nice goin', boil! He looked tired and with good reason.
But boil howdy was that second undead boil good at this. Hadn't he scored high before as well? Yeeeeehaaaaw~ boil! Ya'll know how'ta move, eh?!

Lark grinned, peering at the red-haired boil before turning her attention back to Levi.
"I'll whup ya, Levi." Her eyes twinkled with laughter as she gestured at the machine. "One on one, yeah? I get t'pick th'song though. I saw one that I wanna dance to. Couldn't believe m'eyes when I saw it." Aww, look at Lark. Making friends. Ben would be so proud.
"What'ya say, Levi? I'll take it easy on ya." The reaper rubbed her palms together with an evil giggle.
