Arina picked herself up from the rock begin to pace back-and-forth. The young girl understood that she had darted off before her teammates; however, this was getting ridiculous. There was only so long that the she could twiddle her fingers while waiting on her ignorant, sluggish team to get up off their asses and play catch up. ‘What can I do to pass the time?’ She was frantically trying to cool down and not let this get to her. There was nothing to keep her preoccupied. The best she could do was come up with an alternate strategy to return back home. Of course, she actually did not mind being out of the village. In fact, she quite enjoyed it and wished that she could do it more often. The circumstances were just starting to get irritating. The lone ninja was peacefully sleeping after nearly killing the thief who was now unable to move. She was sure the village would want to question the ninja, as well as take in the thief. ‘The best way to handle this?’ She slyly looked over towards the sleeping man. Seemingly, the young girl had found her alternate plan.

“Hey you,” Arina poked the sleeping man. “You nearly killed that thief, so you should help me bring him in.” Looking him in the face, she awaited for him to wake up and possibly be very irritated with her. At this point, she would not mind if it meant getting out of this environment for awhile. “Wake up,” The young girl insisted still poking.

Deep in the forest, just outside the gates of Konohagakure a small section of ground traced in a box like fashion before being tilted up, exposing an underground route from which Sorain cautiously stepped through. Looking up to the sky he could feel the warm rays of the uprising sun, however he was unable to see it. After being in battle for so long, and over using his Byakugan, Sorain had once again condemned himself to temporary blindness. Something that he had been dealing with his entire life and had now become more of an annoyance rather than a true disability. Taking a pause, Sorain deeply inhaled, receiving the warm aroma of freshly made ramen and burning spices that was a sure sign of his proximity to the hidden leaf village. As the wind blew however, he was confronted with yet another truth. They were directly south of the village, which meant that there was literally no possible point of entrance short of jumping over the wall. To do so would be an obvious sign of attack and they would be jumped on immediately, the only way they were getting in their without drama was to sneak through the front gate to the north, which also meant that they would have to spend the rest of the day tracking to the other side of the village walls. The path had gotten them here safely, but it seemed as though they over shot it an would now have to waist time back tracking. Sorain sighed as he shook his head. This is what he got for placing his trust in strangers.

"Ah, ah~" The man muttered in response as the girl continued to prod him until he eventually toppled over to the ground. Slumped with his cloak covering him completely in the most childish of manners, he used a careful finger to pull back one of the folds so he could at least see out partially. "I don't remember doing any such thing as what you're accusing me of... ah, and look at me. I surely don't have the strength to do such an outrageous thing like carry him." He whined, curling up into his cloak comfortably as he let out an audible sigh of relief. "I think I'm going to sleep now, yes.. That sounds.. very good... good night."

Arina sighed completely exhausted by the situation. ‘What the hell am I supposed to do now?’ The young girl looked at the thief who was strung up to the tree. His face was visibly showing that his body was beginning to feel more comfortable than after the initial wound. Afterwards, she looked back to the stranger to whom she had been speaking. Within those few moments that she had averted her attention, the man had already found himself wrapped in his cloak once again engulfed by a deep sleep.

“How useless,” Arina muttered infuriated by her team’s lack of action. Perhaps, she didn’t need them after all. Her team was only going to slow the young girl down and hinder her progress to becoming a stronger ninja. She tilted her head looking towards the shinobi that lay on the ground before her. He seemed strong or at least, she figured as much being able to take down the thief so quickly with such precision; though, he seemed to have exhausted himself in the process. However, she did admit that he had already seemed weary prior to doing anything in the battle, so much that she had managed to mistake him for an older, elderly man.

“Perhaps, he couldn’t teach me anything useful.” Arina rolled her eyes sitting down with her legs crossed over each other on the ground. She was growing weary from wandering around aimlessly awaiting someone to accompany her back to the village. Her mind wandered again to the man laying on the ground. She crawled over the ground towards him and sat on her knees looking at him. “Hmm,” The young girl wondered if he would be willing to teach her.

“No, why would I ask a complete stranger?” Arina muttered to herself before huffing and looking away. She peeked back towards him gritting her teeth. “You piss me off you know,” She said slightly irritated pushing his side in an attempt to roll him away from her view. Though it was no fault of his own, she couldn’t help but feel irritated and needed someone to take it out on. He just seemed like the appropriate target for the time being until her team finally made their way to the clearing.

A small burst of confetti burst through the opening in the ground, followed by loud cheering. Directly behind Sorain emerged Musica, and red and white sombrero crowned on top of his head. The young man turned back to the hole after he finished his short trek up the stairs as Saru walked up by him. "Bye~" He called into the underground passage, bending down to wave as the entry slowly sank back into the dirt. Musica let out a satisfied sigh and straightened up, biting a chunk out of some fried Something-or-Other on a stick. "I love Mardi Gras," he said wistfully to no-one in particular, taking a slow look at the group's surroundings. Musica absently patted the side of his pants as he went over the passages in his mind. "So now we're south of the. . . ." He muttered under his breath, tracing his finger in the air. He nodded once to himself and turned to Sorain and Saru, grinning. "Sorry for the inconvenience," He said cheerfully, his tone a mocking imitation of a tour guide. "As I'm sure you are aware, we are south of the Leaf Village, the side with no real entry." He closed his eyes and heaved his shoulders in a shrug. "But it isn't like a bunch of wanted people could build a secret passage by the main gates and keep it secret," he explained.

'Why did you explain that?' Rodah sighed, placing his forehead in his palm. 'It's not like they asked.' 'You know, I have no idea.' Musica replied slowly, blinking at his brother. 'Maybe I just like to hear myself talk.' Musica's eyes shone as he took a step to the side, waving his right arm in a motion towards the village. "After you."

Once the trio entered the underground tunnel, Saru wasn't quite sure what she was expecting. Perhaps she was thinking of a crude and cramped tunnel, in which the rays of the sun never reached. But when the small tunnel opened up into what seemed to be a city on it's own she had to admit she was amazed. The festivities were a far cry from her expectations, and she found herself swaying along with the loud music. It was not however, until her current form attracted unwanted attention that she began to get somewhat overwhelmed. Even without lifting her shirt up like the other (Very few) women down here, she still gathered a fair collection of beads from the cut of her shirt. Even a few times drunks stumbled up on her to place beads around her neck, but she didn't fail to notice their wandering eyes and their true motives for placing the plastic necklaces around her neck.

Finally Saru was fed up with the festivities, and transformed back into her boyish child form. Whereas Musica seemed to be enjoying herself, the uncomfortable situation for her caused her to shuffle closer to Sorain, and even on occasion grab onto his shirt like a shy child. She had to admit when the finally exited the tunnel she was very relieved, not so sure she would want to go back there again, at least not on this particular holiday. Releasing a breath she didn't know she was holding she moved away from Sorain, her golden eyes taking in the terrain. Everything here was new to her, and even the air had a different feel when she breathed it in. It wasn't bad though, almost refreshing.

"It's a good look for you" Saru said grinning, nodding to the Sombrero perched on Musica's head while she crossed her arms "The Village Idiot look I mean" she knew she would be able to joke with Musica like that, and he wouldn't take it like Sorain had taken her jokes a while back. And for some reason her making jokes helped quell her discomfort. Not only that but the Sombrero and collection of beads did make them stand out a bit. Tearing off the plastic jewelry she tossed it over to the side, finally glad to be rid of the offending things and as soon as they hit the ground with a barely audible thud it almost felt as if a weight was gone. With a grin Saru bounced back up, her tail flicking happily from side to side. "So what's the new plan?" she chirped, looking to Sorain expectantly.

Sorain rolled his eyes in disdain at the theatrics of the holiday celebrators. Konoha was known for its love for celebrations and merriment. While the rest of the world was sulking over the evils that constantly plagued the land, the blissfully unaware citizens of the hidden leaf party, drank, and enjoyed themselves. It was a fact that disguisted him every time he had ever had the misfortune of wandering near its boarders. It seemed as though its people were so carefree, as if they had no idea what was going on in the rest of the world. As if they truly believed that there was nothing but equal practices and bounty outside their walls as they were inside. Sorain scoffed at the idea. The high and mighty Shinobi of the leaf were babied their entire lives and brought up with a highly offensive since of self entitlement. The only good thing to ever be produced from their lands where a rich assortment of noble blood lines, and a very honorable late Hokage. Sorain had read of her in many medical books. She was a great warrior women who equally specialized in the medical arts. Sorain was unsure exactly why it was that he was so fascinated by her, but he would always swear that he had met her before. Even though there currently existed no visual record of her appearance, he could vividly remember her in his mind, especially the twin horns and inverted eyes that made her stand out to him so much.

Sorains mental trailing was cut off as he felt a slight dip on his pant leg. ((Sorain is wearing no shirt)) Momentarily forgetting that his vision was temporarily gone, Sorain turned his head down to where Saru would be standing. Sorain bit the inside of his lip. How neive of him to do such a thing. He had been living with occasional blindness his entire life, it was not like him to fall prey to such weaknesses as to forget about his own ailment. Although he could not see her however, he could tell that Saru was obviously in her child for again for her to be holding onto him from such a low point. Which explained nothing as far as he was concerned. The form she was in was nothing more than a disguise right? So why was it that she always seemed to take a drop in maturity each time she switched into this form? Sorain decided that it was mearly for the sake of keeping up appearances, which he had to applaud. They were strangers in a foreign land, best to keep suspicion off of them as much as possible, what better way to blend in than to appear as a family of travelers? How much harm could two teen agers and a small child be? Fortunately, Sorain had no visual symbols of being a Shinobi on his person. The moment the thought occurred to him he turned abruptly and whispered as low as possible. "..Are either of you wearing anything that can label you as Shinobi? If so remove the immediately. It is best that we look like common travelers." As he said this, it dawned upon him that he was carrying around a legendary sword, that could easily be recognized by anyone with a warriors education. "We have to stop..We need to find an inn or a lodge until we can find new disguises."

Sai's ears perked to the words the girl was muttering to himself, he couldn't help smirking at the thought of him teaching. It had been so long since he had a companion of any sort, let alone a pupil... they always ended up dying during battles. Carefully he stole a glance at the girl from the cracks of his cloak, her body was slender and obviously agile from what he had seen but the muscles lacked a firmness that she would need to truly be able to fight. He couldn't tell if she was inquisitive or naive from the way she acted, it was highly likely that she focused on non physical abilities which allowed her to act so relaxed in such a situation.

Whatever the girl was capable of he would find out. If she really wanted a sensei ... he would grant her the chance but it would come with the price of risking everything she had on his whims. Her body, soul, and mind would be his and that would mean should decide to throw them to fiery pits of hell, there would be naught that she could do in opposition.

With no hesitation, the man whirled from his position as she nudged his side, and gripped her by the wrist. Resting on one knee, he pulled and held her close, their faces just inches away. "Do I now..." He whispered out, his bright, blue eyes gazing at her intensely. "Such a shame... What is there that I can do to fix that?" The man questioned in a soft, earnest voice as his cloak billowed off his shoulders and into the sky with a passing gust. Smiling softly, hair ruffled, and on a knee, the infamous criminal Sai Orasakai awaited the response of young girl to both his identity and question.

While Arina was lost in thought gazing at the man before her, she had barely noticed when the young man raised himself from the ground onto one knee. The man’s motions were quick and concise, as if those kind of actions just came naturally to him. Quickly grabbing her wrist and pulling her close, he questioned the young girl softly in response to her previous statement.

Arina was taken aback by the current situation and wasn’t for sure how to respond. The young girl could feel warmth creeping upon her face as her cheeks turned a slight shade of red. Biting her lip in frustration, she averted her gaze attempting to put on a more solemn face before returning her attention to the young man, “You were not even sleeping were you?” The young girl questioned tilting her head slightly to the left gazing at him intently still only inches away from his face.

Arina shook her head lightly in a disappointed manner allowing a few free strands of her hair to fall freely in front of her eyes. “I should have known better,” The young girl smiled rolling her eyes. She realized quickly that this was going to be an interesting encounter that would probably affect her life greatly.

Musica grinned at Saru and placed a hand on is hip and thrust it to his side. "I know, isn't it fantastic?" he drawled, his blue eyes playfully leering at her. His lips slowly spread into an over the top smirk as Sorain looked away from them. "Shame I didn't get as many beads as you did." He rolled his wrist in a gesture to the brightly coloured beads Saru was throwing on the ground. "The crowd sure did love you~" Musica traced a finger along the rim of his sombrero. To him, it was fairly obvious Saru was uncomfortable with human contact; he knew from first hand experience. Add on just that the amount she received would make all but the, ah, promiscuous women shudder, he didn't blame her for reverting to her younger form. While most would consider him a jerk for joking about such a thing, Musica was of the opinion that making light of things made them easier to deal with. To an extent.

The red head doubted Sorain picked up on Saru's discomfort. He shot her a quick wink, like a parent who shared their child's secret, before turning back to Sorain. He held a fine point: fugitive ninja should not look as such. They should try to blend in to society as quietly as possible, without eye catching objects. The sword strapped to the man's back was a prime example. Musica rolled his eyes up, curiously examining the object on his head. A red sombrero was no less conspicuous than a big sword. Musica closed his eyes and let out a defeated sigh. He wrapped his fingers around the rim of the bright red hat and tossed it on the ground, next to Saru's beads. If nothing else, it was the best way to relocate the passage: obvious enough for the group to remember, but no more outstanding than the other pieces of garbage that would most likely be lying around due to the holiday. Even so, it was possible that someone would see the objects as trash, and properly dispose of them. In the unlikely event that such a thing would happen, Musica could always Titan-search for it.

Musica shifted through his mind rapidly, reviewing his inventory. On his person, he had nothing that told that he was a ninja. In fact, the only thing he had that could do that was his Mist headband, which was buried in the depths of is bag. There was no way he planned on tossing that: it was is only safe way into his home village. "We're still a good ways out from the village," Musica contemplated to his companions, holding his chin in the crook of his index finger and thumb. "I'm sure we can find an inn relatively near by, if we go along the main road."

Clenching her fist at her Side Saru had half the mind to knock Musica on his head for making fun of her, It was obvious in her posture and the way she narrowed her eyes to him that she would love nothing more than to give him a good bruise or two. "At least I have some class" she retorted, holding her head up almost snobbishly. She was of course, insinuating he was no better than the lewd drunks that were down below. When he shot a wink at her, Saru couldn't help but to pick up a rock with her foot before flinging it straight at him. She of course wasn't intending it to hit him, but she wouldn't apologize if it did either.

She turned her attention to Sorain then, deciding it would be best to ignore the red head for now. Slowly she came to the realization that he was blind, of course it wasn't apparent, and she pursed her lip slightly, staring at his face. She had known that he was not blind before they were traveling, the way he had searched her out and grabbed her from the crowd. It had happened sometime when they were traveling, however the one thing that threw her off was his reaction to the sudden change. He was handling it as if this was something that happened often, hell she had barely picked up on it herself until he had asked them if they had had any sort of signifier of their occupation on them.

"Nope" She responded to his question, playing along like she had not noticed that he had become temporarily blind. "My Hitae-ate got washed away in the flood. All I have are the clothes on my back and what little funds I have. I didn't really have the opportunity to pack..." She did of course realize that being in fire there was a slim chance that she would encounter her father, or at the very least that rumors of a monkey girl would circulate around. She wondered what his reaction to that would be, that his shame was now traveling with an outlaw. When Musica suggested that they travel along the main roads Saru looked at him with on of her eyes raised. "Traveling along the main road is the last thing we wanna do, idioooot~" She stuck out her tongue quickly before continuing. "The last thing we want to do is to run into anyone without you two disguised and that sword hidden... We should stay off the main road, but close enough so we don't get lost. The worst thing we could do right now is to go into Konoha itself. That would be suicide." She pursed her lips, obviously having the disadvantage of not exactly knowing much about her surroundings "Do you have any suggestions, Sorain?" She asked quietly, as if someone was listening to their conversation and just uttering his name would bring on swarms of Anbu.

Sorain grunted under his breath as Saru basically said out loud everything that he thought to be rather obvious. It really didn't take a genius to figure out why he was suggesting that they find an inn and wait out the day, but hell if it made her feel as though she was in the loop then by all means, Sorain really wasn't too interested in her own pursuit of mind."Look, the person that we are here to see will be smart enough not to enter the actual village. More likely than not he will be hanging out here some where. What I am gonna do is first find an inn for us to camp out in, after that we need to head out and get supplies. Were going to need to get some food, new cloths, and definitely some back packs of some kind. Hopefully ill run across that person while we are looking for goods. If not, then we will search for him later on tonight when there are less people walking around. I cant afford to be seen out in the open like this." he said bluntly as he lifted his head up to try and gather his surroundings. The truth was, it was going to be a tad bit difficult finding an Inn with his eyes out of commission. Not impossible, but it would require a lot of wandering and possibly asking a passer byer for direction, something that he was very reluctant to do giving his current state of bounty. Sorain bit his inner lip for a moment before turning his attention the direction that he last heard their voice. "One of you lead the way. Find us an inn." He said blatantly, offering no reasoning for his sudden step down from lead position.

A soft chuckle passed Sai's lips at the girl's question, "Not even a wink." He replied, his smile still present on his lips as he gazed at her. Raising to his feet, his free hand moving to press against her waist so he could easily help her to her own feet as well, he gave her a curt nod and released her from her grip. "Well, I think it's time for me to go~" He said plainly, with no hesitation he turned away from the girl and strode his way back to the rock he had first appeared on, leaning over it's form he swung a large parcel to his back from a string that was attached to it's packaging.

"I don't know who you're waiting for but..." He began with a hefty sigh, his eyes gazing at the girl as he stood by the rock before waving goodbye as he began to walk away, his voice carrying to her loudly through the wind, "If you want to see a world like no other, follow me. Or wait on your own world to catch up to you here. Your choice~" And with that he disappeared into the forest of trees.

Saru listened to Sorain, fiddling with her fingers idly as he spoke. She was careful to keep her eyes on them, not wanting to stare at Sorain or give Musica any indication that he may be blind. Sorain obviously didn't want the two of them to know, by the way he was acting, so she felt that it was just manners that she went along with it.

She couldn't help but grin ear to eat when he said he would find the inn, and then told the two of them to. Taking this opportunity Saru took a step foward "Well since Musica overshot us last time, I guess I'll find us an inn" With an over dramatic sigh Saru mused out loud "Whatever would you boys do without me?~" She had of course, seen that on the road ahead there was another city that was not Konoha, and knew that would be their best bet for the night. Taking a couple steps forward Saru started to lead the Caravan. She grabbed ahold of Sorain's hand when she was close enough, and gave a little tug to get him going in the right direction. She wasn't sure if it was necessary but at the very least it let him know that she was aware of his situation.

Arina studied the young man before her as he assisted in guiding her and then, he retreated from the area leaving only the whisking wind in his place. Of course, that was not before offering her a chance to see the world and something about the way he had worded it had intrigued her so. ‘Had he heard me?’ The young girl questioned to herself referring to earlier when she had speculated his abilities to teach her. ‘He must have,’ She confirmed to herself shaking her head lightly in disappointment still upset that she was unable to notice something so minuscule as the young man playing dead.

“A world like no other,” Arina trailed off toying with the idea of following him. Her gaze quickly reverted back to where her companions should have been hours ago. She allowed herself to linger there for several minutes hoping to see one of them finally show their face, so she was able to come to an easy and concise decision; however, she was not surprised when nothing but the sounds of the forest activity presented itself. This only instilled the idea that those two would only prove to hold the young girl back in her aspirations.

Arina gritted her teeth realizing the harsh consequences that would ensue after she proceeded with the actions of abandoning the village. “Wait up, you!” The young girl stated loudly while quickly following after the young man whom hadn’t even given him her name yet. She had dawdled for longer than anticipated and in result, the girl had quite a bit of ground to make up.
