vampire knight is definately my fave right now. i love it so much, that i've only been able to draw zero kiryu for past few days. the rest of my pictures are feeling horribly neglected. sweatdrop

partly the name, it was very promising in the sound.
but mostly; this picture. It just gouged out my heart, melted it in a pan and offered it back with icecream and a cherry on top >,,,<'!!

-i mean, just look at the damned picture!! it's totally divine, it says soo much in all of it's complex simplicity. happynes and tenderness, something darker resting behind it ...

and it was a most divine choise too O3o!!

the story is absolutely excellent, the artwork is stunning while it's still rather simple with very much clean lines and backgrounds, and the characters are loveable (except Yuca, he's just an a** and i hate him and he should die >_>*** )

So it starts out with this girl going for a bounty on the "immortal metuselah" -finding out soon enough that the guy is kind of okay and they end up as a couple -as it usually does.
It's not a stereotypical one where they go all gooey and cute and sugary sweet on one another though, but the relationship they have is quite unique.
especially since they are both apart from each other so much for various reasons, as well as the "enemies" they face.

the story has a tinge of reality to it, in a somewhat modern kind of world. the characters arent the extreme stereotypes you see mostly everywhere, and even though romance is apparent, it's not the main theme.

Immortal Rain i think i got some five or six years ago, mayhap, and since it's still my favourite after reading 200-300 other manga, i'd say you should give it a shot too >.>!!
it's absolutely excellent, and i totally wish it was an anime ;_;'

so yes, my absolute favourite manga, probably forever
it makes me laugh, almost makes me cry, and stare in suspense of what'll happen next;

-don't think it's some sort of girly serie though, there's action and gore in it too... ...not too much gore though, so it's an all around manga for all type of crowds -it's a reverse miracle it's less known than it is actually ._.'

Mine would have to be Chobits because it was the first anime I was introduced to well besides Sailor Moon but that one is ok I guess...
