Nyx the Vampire Fish Quote: OMG. I slipped like four times when I had to mop at Bakers Square. It was right in front of the restaurant, too. MOST of the front area was carpeted, but there was still like twenty square feet or so of tile. STUPID Ugh. I haven't officially slipped yet. I've come close those. I have to scrub the tiling and then mop up. Sucky thing about the closing shift. But on the bright side I get to take home the leftover cupcakes. :3 Lol, I did end up with quite a few pies.

SOOO...
My laptop, Pandora, needs repairing, so my posting rate is definitely going to go down, because I'm unwilling to be patient with my parents' computers.
However, June has a Mac that I am more than willing to post on. You should see the thing! It's awesome. Might post tonight, since I'm staying the night at June's house.
WE ARE INSEPARABLE.
Right, so... I guess it's a good thing June is the only one waiting on me. I'll keep you all updated on the Pandora situation.

I recently reformatted with Windows 7, which is pretty shiny for the most-part, but it screws with the latency in my games and makes them all laggy. Always something to fix...

That's why I still run XP on my laptop. Okay, so I had to go find a disk of it, but it still runs! biggrin

When I had a Window's laptop, it got buggy within a few months (yes, with virus protection) and completely screwed up on both the hardware and software levels with a year. A year after getting my macbook, it is still going strong, and with much more use. My macbook Apollo and I are bestest buddies.
(Three cheers for naming modern technology after ancient mythology!)

My mac is named... well Mac. (Mimi says I'm creative. -insert eye roll-) And when I get a notebook, probably gonna name it Mac Jr. or Pandora Jr., cause they are totally together. But my mouse is named Remy and my keyboard is named WHORE! (lol) I skipped the Naming Your Stuff After Greek Myths class, sorry.

My computer's name is MAURICE, though I never call it that. It just prompts you to give your computer a name when you're setting it up, so I did.

My two ipods have been named Octavian and Augustus. I refuse to keep going with emperors though, because I don't want to find out how Tiberius the ipod will act...
My keyboard is a whore, but it's attached to Apollo, so it doesn't get a separate name. I think Pandora would actually be an apt name for my keyboard. It's her fault all bad things happen... But I love her anyway. For anyone who knows Roman poets, particularly Catullus, perhaps I shall call my keyboard Lesbia (no relation to the term lesbian. Lesbia was the woman Catullus wrote about).

In my house, our computers have a naming theme: Forgotten Realms city names. Thus, my laptop's name is Neverwinter. I might be changing it though, but I can't think of a good name. Give me one?
My iPod's name is Serenity though. After the ship, of course.

I got silly with my computer's name. I call it "F--king Awesome the Second". "F--king Awesome the First" was the computer I had before I graduated high school.

So, how many of you guys saw Inception. Chloe already heard my thoughts on this, but I thought I should share anyways:
The main character's names were Cobb and Mal. Jayne Cobb and Mal Reynolds. I think I know who Christopher Nolan ships. razz

This I didn't think of. Wow... I don't think I can watch Inception again, now...
