Garchomp is just a confusing poke'mon to me, but nontheless I love him, and he is like.. my strongest poke'mon on Platinum. (Gibbs..XD)
Seriously! Why would they make Giratina and Ghost?!
You should, I love the Digimon games. I beat it first with no codes, then used my Action Replay to put on codes, The only one I use is to have 100% scan on all Digimon, I still only brang out either Rookie's or Champions. Since if you bring out a Perfect/Ultimate they aren't that good, they last longer then the rookies, but it's hard to De-evolve them. Same with Mega's.
Anywho, back to poke'mon. What about a Preevo of Miltank and Tauros? 83. Oh! And a new Trio Legendary, I love the Legendary Dogs, and Birds from Johto and Kanto.
Uxie/Mespirit/Azleaf were just wierd, they can't really be considered a trio, since they're all the same type. Well, they are a trio, but not a trio at the same time. >`>

Indeed Garchomp is a strange Pokemon. I was so rage when it said in the Pokedex "While flying this Pokemon looks like a jet plane" and I couldn't teach mine Fly.
Honestly, Giratina makes a better Ghost than dark type anyway. Think about it. Dialga, Palkia and Giratina are like the Holy Trinity in the Christian faith.
Also, you're forgetting Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza and the Regis from Gen 3. Both were Trinities.
Speaking of, that's what the Lake Sprites are, a Trinity. They aren't a "Trio" of similar but different Pokemon like the other Triads, but they're a group of three Pokemon that are like one being embodied in three places. Which is what a Trinity is.
Also, yes, the Trinities are really neat. I want to see an Effing Bug Legendary for the first time. I don't care if it's the only one as long as it looks good. Decent stats don't even matter to me. My poor Bugs need Legendary love.

I totally forgot about Hoenn! Hehe, opps.
Well, I'm not a huge bug fan, but it would be a neat twist.
On Giratina, I see your point, but still... Well, nontheless he is an awesome poke'mon. >`> ... <`< I'm getting a Tatto for my birthday, and i'm planing for it to be Giratina in Origin Form, flying over a women with her hands upheld in a 'Y' formation.

That would be an amazing tattoo.
I like the idea of more mythology-based designs for the new gen, that would be pretty sweet. I like seeing the inspiration for the design, rather than think "wtf were they smoking?" when I see a new Pokemon.
Probopass really creeps me out...
I'm still waiting to see what Zorua's moves will be like. Although it would make a pretty cool starter. I like the idea of taking a turn from the regular fire/water/grass starters. While adding in dual types in the later gens, having something completely different would be awesome.
I never would have thought of having a bug legendary, but that would be pretty cool. I really liked having a bug trainer be in the E4 for the 4th gen games. Other than Bugsy in Johto, who was a breeze to beat, bugs don't really have any strong trainers.
Although I can see the lake trinity's purpose in the game, I wasn't too thrilled with having all three of them look so much like Mew rip-offs. With the other trios, they at least looked different from each other, even when they were based off of each other like with Raikou, Suicune, and Entei. I never even used the lake trio in my party, just caught them and PC'd them...
And I never saw Garchomp fly in the anime, but now that I see it, and looking at the Pokedex entries, I don't see why it can't learn Fly. I agree that Dragons should hop off of the Dragon/Flying and Dragon/Ground train.

Indeed that would be a cool tattoo, just make sure you won't regret it as you get older. They're permanent, after all.
I agree completely, Fugue. It's awesome to be able to see the inspiration behind a Pokemon just from looking at it. Gen 1 had the most obviously animal inspired designs, to be honest. All the newer ones{3/4} seem to be going more and more Digimon-esque. They're getting more and more vague as to where they came from.
Here's one up from Probopass. Tangrowth. Tentacle monster. 'Nuff said.
Indeed. Dark Pulse is a must, obviously. As would Night Slash since Zoroark obviously has claws to use it with. Faint Attacks is another I'm guessing will be seen.
Indeed. Aaron was absolute love for me. I don't use them often since they've got so many weaknesses, but to see a trainer who uses them competently in a position like the E4 was awesome. I'm a fan of Bug types even thought I don't use them, obviously.
They were just "Blah" imo. Too much like Mew, yes, but moreso they were each designed to have a different purpose in battle. One's a Physical Sweeper, one's a Special Sweeper and one's a Tank. I agree, though. Having a unique design, even if they are all three based on the same design would be good again. The Dogs were a good example of that. They were each dogs but they had unique designs rather than being palette swapped variants with different shaped heads.
I have, Cynthia's Garchomp flies around in battle all the time. It's actually flying every time it uses Giga Impact. Agreed. Dragons need to give up the 4x Ice weakness. And the Dragon Weakness.
Why the flip are they weak to their own type? Is that the excuse for why they're so rare? They kill themselves off?

I have another though.
add more STEEL and ICE types. I liked the steel type add on from 2nd gen, but none of them were useful enough to add to my party save for Scizor. And Ice types are my absolute favorites, so I want more of them out there for the bigger variety. maybe have a Fire/Ice dual combo type?

I was kinda thinking about a fire/ice dual a couple of days ago actually. I think that would be pretty cool.
I always had Skarmory in my party from GSC. Scizor was awesome as well, though. I just could never find anyone to trade with to get him. xD

Steelix/Aron/Mawile/JIRACHI are the best steel types. Jirachi being in the top 5 of my favorites.

Better combo: Ghost/Fighting
Skarmory's pretty kool. I just don't have the patience to raise Steel types in the games. *has a lv 40 Adamant Scizor in SS*
Jirachi is love and one of my only three Legendaries that I like. The other two are Celebi and Shaymin.

In terms of Ghost types I have a couple ideas:
-Ghost/Flying; I think that would be an interesting thought of what they would incorporate as itself.
-Ghost/fire; as like a Pyrefly. A small one that grows into bigger one with a semi body and arms. Kinda like the Rage Demons from Dragon Ago origins.
-Ghost/Water; Bringing up the reference to myths, have three of them not related at all and make them the Sirens. Each one having its own uses. Or even have all three of them as one pokemon together like an Execute
-Ghost/Normal; Make it like a juggler who rolls on a big ball, but the ball is its head. Like a headless juggler. I think that'd be fun.
Otherwise I also have an urge to see more Dark types.
I want to see more USEFUL flying types in the game. Because really in all of my games NONE of the beginning birds ever made it with me past the third gym, and I ended up catching a dragon type or Skarmory, or Murkrow, to make up for the loss. I want more diverse flying types other then NORMAL/FLYING. Yeah, thats useful.... Go ahead and paint "Go ahead, I'm an easy target!" on its back while you're at it.
I think Bug types should get a second look as well. Because while they may be fun to use, they are hard to use in competitive battles and anyone who can use them efficiently is a great trainer. But I want a retake on them for improvement.
The Fire/Ice dual would be fun to use but I'm having trouble figuring out what it'd be like.
But as of now I have no more thoughts on anything else. But I'll probably post more when more comes to me.

You mean "Dragon Age: Origins", right, Song Riter?
Anywho, as far as Ghosts go, I'd like to see a Ghost/Grass for the sole purpose that such a typing would allow a single Pokemon the capability of learning the most damaging status combination in the games. Curse/Leech Seed/Poison(or Burn) being the most highly damaging status combination since only one of the three can be cured via Full Heal/Restore/Berries/Shed Skin.
I don't see a Ghost/Normal dual type happening. Ghost/Dark's already happened twice and Ghost/Normal would be the same way with no weaknesses.
I'd like to see some Dark types that are interesting in both appearance and stats.
Useful Flying types, yes. Skarmory's one of the few I've ever used and Togekiss is the other. Togekiss is an effing monster in battle, though. Good Abilities, good moves and great stats on it. Make more like that but with a difference typing. I want to see a Pure Flying type, too.
Fire/Ice would indeed be interesting but I'm afraid I don't see how that would work. It would have a 4x weakness to Rock, though, if I'm remembering the weaknesses right.

why yes I did mean that, thank you whysp. But as to terms of my suggestions, they probably won't happen but I'm just throwing ideas out there to be thought about.
I mean really, when has a 4x weakness ever stopped anyone of us though? "Oh no, Milotic knows Ice Beam, I are a garchomp..... Giga Impact, i are winz againz!!!!!" I mean really, overcoming the disadvantage is part of the fun, am I not right?
The Grass/Ghost indeed would be a constant use in my party because of its ability to whittle the opponent's HP down. But I'm curious as to what it would be.... Maybe one of those"Evil Thorn" cards from yu gi oh 5D's? Those are so much fun for their stupid effect.
speaking of Grass types, here's an idea: GRASS and wait for it..... DRAGON! BAM! There it is. It probably won't be that good of s fighter unless grass pokemon experts like super EV train it and like make it unstoppable, but it'd be fun.
