Terrion added the last slice of bacon to Cayleigh's plate. "Eat up, hun. If you're going to play today, you're going to need all the energy you can get." Cayleigh rolled her eyes, but tucked into her breakfast. Terrion sat down at the table and picked up her fork. "Honey! Brakfast's ready!" she called down the hallway. A voice shouted back. "Just wait a second! I need to finish getting dressed!" Terrion sighed and shook her head, smiling. "You've had time!" she called back. "So...?" The voice was fainter this time. Terrion smiled. "Your father..." She said, her voice full of love and laughter. Cayleigh kept eating, but her eyes sparkled with laughter. When she was done, she waited until her father poked his head around the corner. "How do I look?" Terrion smiled. "Hun, I'm gonna need to see the rest of you, you know." With a mock look of dismay, Elia emerged finally. He was dressed in his usual green shirt and dark pants. "You look handsome." Cayleigh rolled her eyes again as her parents kissed and Elia sat down at the table. "Hey mom?" "Yes?" "Umm... Why don't I have grandparents like some of the kids at my school?" Silence. Elia broke in with a soft voice. "Cay, why don't you go and look for Dante and Alexa? You can wait in the front yard. Your mother and I need to talk." Cayleigh frowned, but ran to the door. "Okay!" Terrion watched her go. She sighed. "How long can we keep the truth from her? That the Aun in our story was actually my father?" Elia put his hand on her knee. "When she's ready, beautiful." Terrion nodded.

((I loved how the other one ended, by the way (yes, I just finished reading the last 5 pages I missed xd ). I might be able to draw some, but I'm not very good. I have a few of my drawings up on my profile if you'd like to see. I do tend to take a long time drawing, and now that (for some odd reason) I've been really busy, it might take me longer, but I'd be willing to try!))

Owen stretched, sliding out of bed. He walked out of the room, scratching his head,, and slid down the railing like Zoe had, but landed stumbling. He stumbled in to the counter, and caught himself, and smiled causally at Zoe. "Nice landing Owen." Zoe laughed, flipping the bacon. Owen eyed it hungrily, and licked his lips. "I hope you made me some." He said, jumping on to the counter, and slid over in to the kitchen. "Pig. Of course I saved you some, oh and Ben's outside mopping about us having to have to go to school. Tell him its all done." She said, putting the fresh food and toast on to three plates, and flitted to the table, and set them out for them, with forks. Her movements moved perfectly in to the next one, and Owen stared in awe. He mumbled something unintelligible, and bolted out the door. He slowed his pace, and sat down next to Ben. "Sup dude." He said, and sat next to Ben. "Nothing Mr.'I have a huge crush on your sister.'" Ben teased, and Owen punched him playfully, rolling his eyes.

"What is it now, Chio?" Eve was reading a book under a large maple tree. She could hear someone behind her, watching her from behind a different maple tree.
"I...I..." Cecilio began. "Nunca le voy a poder hablar..."
"You know I heard that." Eve sighed. "How many times do I have to tell you that I don't speak Spanish?"
Cecilio flushed. "I am sorry. I do not know how to talk about what I'd like to talk about."
"Yes, I know. You say that every day. So tell me, why do you keep following me if you lack the courage to speak?"
Cecilio staggered a bit. Eve changed the page in her book. "You'd think that by now, after all this time, you could at least tell me who you are."
"I have told you before: I am Cecilio Rivera from Sevilla."
Eve sighed. "I know that already."
"Then what else is there to know?"
Eve chuckled. "You're as stubborn as always." She looked up at the sky. "It's about to rain. We should head home."
"You know I can stop the rain."
"It's been dry enough as it is. I would like to see some rain for a change."
Cecilio nodded and Eve put a bookmark in her book and closed it. She stood up and they walked side by side to the house. "I believe it is time for you to meet my friends."
"The other Nightshades? Finally!"
"Yes." Eve agreed.
Cecilio smiled his big, warm smile. Eve frowned. She wasn’t used to seeing it, even though she had to admit that she liked seeing it.
Cecilio began to sing. "Bebe, canta, sueña

Usando para ello
el corazón"
"You know I hate that song. Eve sighed. Cecilio smiled at her again and she glared back at him.
Cecilio dropped back a little so he could keep singing. He watched Eve walk calmly down the hill to the house. "Como le digo que la amo?" He muttered to himself.
"We don't have all day!" Eve yelled back at him.
"I'm coming!"
They looked down at the house they now lived in together. Eve didn't like this arrangement, but it was better than having Cecilio sleep outside in the rain, which he used to do. She had an extra room for him and he was very helpful around the house, but she still wondered why he kept following her and wouldn't leave her alone. Anytime she'd ask him, he'd always answer the same thing: "I love your cooking!"
"So what's for dinner?" Cecilio asked, interrupting her thoughts.
"I don't know yet. What do you want for dinner, Chio?"
"Emmm... Chuletas!"
Eve glared at him. "If you are going to speak Spanish to me, you could at least give me some lessons first!"
Cecilio flushed again. "I could, but I like it this way better. I said I wanted pork chops."
Eve sighed. Why was it always pork chops?

Messoris stumbled upon and woman and man who were walking. Inwardly, his eyes narrowed, but outwardly, he smiled at the oranged-haired woman and the dark-haired man. They were both Nightshades, he knew that much. He didn't dare search furthur for fear of exposing himself. He walked past them, in the direction that the aura was the strongest. He walked past another house, that reeked of Nightshade aura as well, but not nearly as strong as the one he was following. Three figures came out of the house and he directed his fake friendly smile at them, before walking past as well. He approached a larger house, a normal looking mansion, with black iron gates and stone and iron walls surrounding an alive looking garden. A pebble-laid path led up to the front porch and the ebony double doors. Messoris gripped the angular iron bars and took a deep breath. Yes...This was it...The smell that was familiar to the two twins...He pulled back a little and glanced at the black plaque on the rectangular stone pillar besides the gate.

"The Hunters..."

His green-blue eye shifted into a cat-like pupil and the sea green crystal around his neck glowed. So this was who his master wanted him to bring to him...He grinned inwardly. Part one of his mission was complete. Now to execute the others...He let go of the bars and touched the bandage around his left eye. Soon...

Terrion finished cleaning up the breakfast that had ended in silence. She frowned as she remembered Cayleigh's innocent question. "Why don't I have grandparents like some of the kids at my school?" The question haunted her, taunted her. Something in that simple question unnerved her, even to hear of the relation. Grandparents. For the last nineteen years, Cay was told that her grandmother died when Terrion was three, and her grandfather died 50 years ago. Terrion plundged the sponge into the soapy water, ignoring the fact that she could have just used her powers to wash the dishes while she read a book. She frowned. It had been about a couple of hours since Elia had left for his weekend part-time job, and Cayleigh had gone to play with her friends. Terrion paused in her dishwashing. She reflected on the past 50 years. Her control over her phsycic powers had increased dramatically in the first ten years after her over 1000 year old father had died. She ignored the fact that she and Rogue and her husband were related trough Aun. Her powers had also changed slightly with maturity, and had grown. She could only hope that her daughter would understand when it was time to tell her the exact truth. Maybe later, Terr thought to herself, focusing more on washing her beloved mother's dishes she had sought out a few years ago, just to have some sort of memory of the gentle woman that had bore her, but died from the sinister disease, SNS, that had transformed her life.

If only you saw me now, Mom. Terrion smiled slightly, a smile that had grown a little crooked in her past years. The smile that her husband loved to see. She sighed. So much had happened between the past and the present. Elia married her and she bore their child. But throughout all those years, the mortal wound that had nearly killed her 50 years ago never healed, marring her movement slightly, and always drawing questions from her all-too curious child that she could not answer without giving away the painful truth. While reflecting, Terrion finished washing the dishes and looked out the window. The sunlight had intensified and her backyard looked like an exotic garden. Roses lined the old, brick walls and flowers accented every turn of the walkway to the bench that sat, overlooking the landscape that broke off in a cliff. But the from the bench, one could see the ocean and its beautiful beaches with the light, golden, sun warmed sand. Nobody but her Cay dared to venture far out into the waters. Terrion noted that the three friends were splashing about in the shallows, Cayleigh playing with her powers gently, as not to create a whirlpool. Little globes of seawater floated above the surface, dancing and shaping a crystal like ballroom with dancers gliding across the aquatic floor. Terrion smiled as one globe floated over to Dante and broke above his head, leaving behind a sputtering, but laughing boy standing, soaked through, in the shallows.
