The princess shook her head, the blond locks swaying freely. "It's not that I seek a battle either. We know something will happen, but that we're waiting here, tensed for any sort of attack... It's quite unpleasant." She did not react regarding the part about girls not getting caught up in fighting. It would be speaking too freely on her part. Princess that she was, and commander that he was, there were things that they kept from each other. It would reveal too much of Rowena to speak her thoughts on the matter, particularly the fact that she had to be caught up in everything because of her position, and if she wished to be valuable enough not to be shelved away as expendable.
She self-consciously ran a hand through her hair as they were suddenly joined by two others, giving Latune a curious glance before settling her gaze on Leon. It wasn't that she looked terrible, but she had had a workout, and in a gown, no less. Her hair was loose down her back, and framing the sides of her face as well. Her chief lady-in-waiting would have a heart attack if she saw that the princess was not in her nearly-ridiculously regal appearance.

Leon stood up and dusted off his pants legs "That's good to hear." he turned to the princess "So this is where you were princess" she look like she had been training "you know if you wanted a train partner all you had to do was ask. I would gladly help."

Leon smiled and scratched his head "Well, I'll formally apologize to them later." he shrugged off the 'half baked tactics' comment then got serious "So much has happened in one day...."

Rowena lowered herself in a shallow curtsy when Leon spoke to her. "I wouldn't want to take you away from your responsibilities, Leon. Your duty is to the VSD and to Commander Eternal, not to me."

"Eh, he makes a better bodyguard than anything else, mostly since he has to use his brains for that job. So in any case, it'll work out for the best," replied Eternal, "so it's not really a problem Princess. On the other hand, judging from your workout... would you prefer to fight?" He hastily added, "Well as in on the battlefield... I don't mean against me of course."

"Yes, but when I do get some time free I like to hone my skills so I don't get rusty, and so I wont be a burden to the VSD." he smiled "So indirectly it would help me with my responsibilities." he lowered his glance "Commander, about the whole Asura thing, I'm sorry for my outburst yesterday. That wasn't proper behavior for a Britannian solider."

"Yes, just leadership under pressure is something that's hard to hone without the actual life-or-death situtation at hand," replied Eternal. "And outbursts are expected. Just don't do it in front of people who'd want your head for a outburst... since I'm going to hold you accountable for your actions."

"Well then, if you're only too willing, then why not? I don't mind." Really, she didn't. It wasn't as if she had never had bodyguards before, and it should be an honor to be wanted to be protected by one of the VSD. "Does this mean that you will be enrolling in Ashford Academy as well?" If so, then they needed to process his papers and such, and make arrangements with the school as well.
Eternal's question caught her off-guard though, making her pause to think, her expression serious. "Would I prefer to fight?" Yes! Her mind answered, but the princess couldn't answer so hastily. She had responsibilities, those that did not require her to battle on the field. The commander had a very good point though; she could not command well if she had not experienced the field herself. "Yes, i would. That is to say... I do not prefer it as a manner with which to divert myself, but for its... Educational value." Ah, how formal of her. But that really was the way the thirty-second princess was taught to speak. "If I am to be a proper Britannian princess, then I will need a great resource of information. Of course," She lightly touched a finger to her lower lip, a fairly unconscious gesture on her part whenever she was too focused on her thoughts. "how one feels during a battle is subjective, and as such, it has value to me only if I were to experience it myself. There is also, of course, the matter that I am being kept too sheltered by my own retainers. I am not unaware of that." Now she looked straight at Eternal, her quietly regal air indicating that she was every bit the princess she was. "Could you manage such, Commander? Could you make me fight?"

"Well... I should be able to though the battlefield does not play favorites...," replied Eternal. He mused over a thought for a moment before saying it. "Oh and Ri, why don't you do the paperwork. It'll be good practice for leadership." Then again, it doesn't have anything directly to do with leadership, at least he would have one less work to do.

"Princess I would be honored to enroll with you." he looked to Eternal "Of course commander." he decided to do it because he still had to write a report to the Geass Directorate, and now had to fill out forms for Ashford Academy.

"In the meantime, I think you should, tell your sister-I mean the governess," said Eternal. He corrected himself only in part because she did warrant some respect for her attitude towards her duties.

"Thank you for reminding me," She spoke absently regarding the matter of the battlefield not playing favorites. The princess never expected it to. What, should she expect not to get harmed only because she was a princess by birth? Whatever happens, good or bad, Rowena knew not to credit or blame anyone other than herself.
Yes... She supposed that she needed to speak to her sister regarding her decisions to enter the army, and having Leon for a bodyguard. She'd have to do it sooner or later. "Yes, I... Suppose you are correct. I would need to let the governess know." She didn't mind having to act like a child, having to ask permission from her older sister, but Rowena had no intention of asking permission. She will be letting her know what she would do, that was all. "I would need to make myself more presentable though." Looking down at the state of her clothes, it was a definite yes.

"We'll wait so take your time," replied Eternal. After all, he should go as well since he was the one who helped put the idea in her head. "So, then Leon, if you're not in a hurry, why don't you join us as well?" At least he should be able to draw some attention away...right?
