Masami closed her book, stood up, and slowly walked over. Relax, Masami. She's just trying to be nice. What would Otousan think if he saw me like this? she asked herself as she walked. Despite her best efforts to relax, Masami still wasn't when she got to the fountain, though it did not show. Come on, speak up, Masami, she thought. She could not, however, get her voice to work again.

Amaya smiled up at her and showed her the sketch book. Even though she was smiling she was extremely nervous about what the girl would think of it. "What do you think of it?" she asked softly. As much as she liked the drawing she still was afraid that the girl would hate it.

yakov squinted his eyes from the sun. "no, i live in my own apartment." he looked around the market. "but some times i have freinds over" he lied, he did not want to look like a looser to this new girl.

"Ah okay i don't have friends over cause i just moved here and i haven't had a chance to make any new friends yet." Amaya admitted. She hoped that she didn't sound too much like a loser. She was glad that she wasn't the only one here who lived by her self.

yakov looked at the ground as he used his foot to move small stones around. "yes well living alone is not always great i admit" he said, as he finished making a small pile, then kicking it over. "but i will be attending school tommorow. so i hope to meet people" he said.

((Eh... Sorry about not replying earlier. I'm trying to multitask and failing epically. XD))
Masami looked at the sketch. It looked just like her Wow! She's a really good artist! she thought. It took her a few moments before she could speak and, again, it came out as little more than a whisper. "I-It's amazing," she said, stuttering slightly.

Amaya couldn't help but smile as he piled up the stones and kicked them. "Yeah i know what you mean I live all by myself too." She hoped that her and this guy could become friends one day. She missed having friends.
"Really? I am glad you like it" Amaya was glad that the girl liked her drawing. She noticed how shy and nervous the girl looked and she knew what it was like to be the shy girl who was awkward around new people.

"well maby i see you around at school" he looked around, all the passing people, they looked so different that his friends back in russia, of course he was always getting in trouble when he was with his freinds.

"Yeah that would be nice." Amaya really did hope that she got to see him again. He was unlike any one she had ever seen before.

"good" he said, he did not know what to say. "what class do you have.... first?" he asked, he said more in these few moments than he usualy does in a day.

((Sorry about not replying. I had writer's block.))
Masami shifted her position slightly, uncomfortable. She always got uncomfortable when talking to anyone, except her mother. She could talk to her mother without having the same nervousness. She did not know why she was so nervous around people.

"I don't remember what it is, whats yours?" She asked him. Amaya was always very bad at remembering things. She could tell the girl was uncomfortable. She wondered what she could so to make her feel more at ease but nothing seemed to come to min.

Masami, still uncomfortable, was looking at the ground. She listened to the other two talk for a minute. Her book was in her hand. She suddenly wanted to just disappear for a while, so she said, stuttering, "I-I-I have t-to go..." Then she ran off in the direction of the tea shoppe. It was normally quiet at this time of day.

"oh okay..." Amaya said sounding kinda sad. She didn't want the girl to go but she didn't want to sound weird by asking her to stay. She looked down frowning slightly.

"i have english class today, thats." he paused to check his watch. "one hour, but im sure if im a small bit late the teacher wont mind, in russia the teachers did not care if you missed class." he looked as the girl ran off. "she is in a hurry."
