She saw a dim silvery glimmer in the darkness... was it a blade? She jumped over quietly stepping across the rafters.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you! If you hurt my friend, you will wish you never met me!"
She was trying to get him to not attack. Red Cardinal didn't want to loose Robin. One of the only people she knew that was with her in this world. She wouldn't allow this assassin to kill anyone.

The Professor heard the girl's voice loud and clear. She was above and to his left. Instinctively and without looking, the man threw the blade directly at Red Cardinal, while executing a roll.

Red Cardinal spotted the blade and as it approached she became intangible to it. The blade passed right through her and after it passed through her shoulder she ran towards the darker parts of the clock tower away from the broken window.

The Professor saw the angle of the trajectory of his throw. That should have hit. It was like the blade harmlessly passed through the girl. She wasn't an illusion, he could feel her presence. The Professor dissappeared into another shadow.

The wind passed by Kesshous wings as she approched the clock tower. Quietly she flapped her wings and landed on the roof, as light as a bird and little to no noise, next to the bullet holes that were made by the 'Professor's' shooting.
She sniffed around, trying to figure out what was going on. Kesshou blinked when she turned to see a black blade sticking out the roof. She shook her head and went to listening to what was going on inside.

"You won't succeed. I know full well that you are intent on assassinating someone and I won't let it happen."
The Red Cardinal said, her voice echoed through the place. She snuck down to where the man had disappeared into the shadows, while still keeping an eye on Robin who also moved through the shadows staying very well hidden. She was able to successfull get behind him, making no noise. She spotted the gun on his side and proceeded to try and grab it using her intagibility to reach through his coat swiftly before he had time to react.
She reached foward grabbing the silent rifle begining to pull it through his coat. The rifle clicked unexpectedly and she fell back onto the ground holding the gun which became caught in his coat.
"No..."
She uttered almost afraid of what the man would do next, she wasn't sure if he had any other weapons or if he would turn to attack her head on for sneaking up on him.

(Ooooooops, RC's prone right behind the Professor. That also means that she's tangible at the moment. Otherwise, she would have fell through the floor.)
The Professor heard Red Cardinal and felt the gun move. With lightning speed, the assassin spun and ducked down. One hand removed the submachine gun out of the heroine's hand, while the other choke slams his prone target -- leaving Red Cardinal gasping for breath and possibly stunned.

Before Red Cardinal had time to react he turned around pulling the gun out of her hands and attacked her. She kicked forward to trip the assassin to the floor. Her lack of breath was coming back more quickly than it normally would for a person so she wasn't all to stunned from the lack of air.
"You... will have... to try harder than that."
she said under the shortness of her breath. She stood up quickly reaching for the gun once again. In any case a gun was the deadliest weapon someone could use against her, it was unavoidable most of the time and did the most damage to her. She moved around him keeping alert so that any moment if she had to she could become intangible.

Kesshou heard the struggle that went on beneath her and quickly flapped her wings and flew in through the window, not caring if she was seen or not. Her shield glowed slightly in the darkness, making it hard for her to hide to begin with.
Kesshou growled loudly, "Leave my friends alone!" She hissed out through her teeth. She was now on all fours, slinking close to him like the tiger she was, looking regal and powerful. Her claws clacked softly against the floor as she moved, an irritating sound to most people.

"What happened to covert, and sneaky?"
Kai said keeping her attention towards the assassin. Of course she blew her cover trying to remove the gun but she was trying to stay as well hidden as possible. Suppose that it would help the more people that were there. They could capture this guy and interrogate him to find out who he was after. Since she was here, and it was her specialty to do that with Batman's absence she would have to take the responsibility.

The Professor heard Kesshou's growing announcement, Great.
With his free hand, he activated a flash pellet. Simultaneously, the assassin fired a full burst from his silenced submachine gun into Kesshou's location, and prepared to roll out of the way from a charge from either direction.

Red Cardinal covered her eyes while holding onto the assassins coat. She jerked on the coat pulling the gun from his hands and tried pulling him to the floor to tackle him. ((She was intangibly pulling the gun literally through his coat... I don't think I was clear on that and it got stuck part of the way through so you must be using it while it's a part of your coat or rip it. sweatdrop ))

Kesshou stared at the array of bullets that riddled her force field after the light dimmed again. She blinked a few times then sniffed the air, looking right at the 'Professor' as the bullets fell back out of her force field.
(I don't know if you're going to have him trip or not but her reaction would be the same)
She let out a loud roar that would make some of the bravest baddies she's met quake in their boots.
(Enter Crystal and Arell from Gotham Hospital)
The two swung up on her grappling line, landing on the ledge just in time to hear Kesshou's mighty roar. Crystal took her Kunai out, ready to throw them at any moment.

Arell pulled the hammer on the six-gun, but didn't dare release his white-knuckle grip he had on the line they were on. When they landed on the ledge, the inertia kept the big brute of a Cajun going, pulling out his gun and training it on the professor. "Make a move an' I'll blow yer brains out!!" he shouted, loaded and ready to roll.

This gets better and better, the Professor's thought echoed in his brain as he remained ready to spring to either side. Positioned directly between Red Cardinal and where Crystal and Arell popped up, the assassin used his lighning reflexes to fire a slienced burst directly at Arell and Crystal.
