Hex walked around until a payphone went off. He walked over, put a few quarters in and picked up the receiver. A familiar voice picked greeted him.
"Hey, Cajun. What the hell do you want, boy?" he responded.
"Wanna go on an adventure, che'?" Arell asked from the other side of the line.
"Alright, boy, where ya goin'?" he asked. Figuring he'd bite.
"Central City." Arell confirmed. A smirk appeared across Hex's face.
"I'm there. Later, Gator." Hex replied and walked down the road, and stopped at the corner. He whistled and a black horse appeared. Hex mounted and rode off to Central City.

[Enter the Professor from an unknown location, twisted ]  Driving into Gotham City, a dark haired man wearing a tailored dark suit stops beside the road and pulls up information on his cell about his target and known associates. The Professor scanned through the files, looking for commonalities. He found several, particularly about Commissioner Gordon and his daughter Barbara. He noticed that the Batman had rescued both numerous times in the past. "The weak link....," the Professor breathed. He put his cell away and then drove to Miss Gordon's last known address. Parking near the clock tower, the government assassin surveyed the place professionally -- looking for accessways, any surveilance...

The Professor enters the Clock Tower using a hidden set of lockpicks. And the assassin ascends the stairwell devoid of surveillance cameras. Quickly, the agent goes to space rented to Miss Gordon, If my information is correct. Miss Gordon should be here. I'll see what she knows about the Batman...
Ironically, this assassin doesn't fully realize how close to this assigned target he truely is.....

((Red Cardinal enters Gotham City from Gotham General hospital))
"Really it's no problem let me carry you."
Kai said watching Tim pull out a grappling gun. She thought quickly as she began to run forward spreading her wings. She grabbed Tim under his arms holding him tightly as she jumped of the roof the hospital.
"The Robin I knew loved flying. And you could save that grappling hook for another situation k."
Kai said over the wind. She didn't actually know that for sure if her Tim liked it but she needed the extra weight with the wind picking up. She wanted to help him as much as possible and see how he would react to the things that she wish she could have done more with her Robin before she was pulled into this world. No matter what, she believed that this Robin and her Robin were different by circumstance even though they had the same souls they were different to her somehow.

His heart pounded like made, and it felt like they would fly right over the top of the clocktower. Though he was surprised and, dare he think it, scared, a different feeling entered Robin. It was exciting, the short time they had used the currents to lift to the top of Gotham's clock tower. By the time they reached a solid landing, Tim was gasping, and smiling.
"That was... awesome..."

The Professor heard something that didn't fit... something large. The man blended into the shadows and pulled out the silenced submachine gun from under his longcoat... and waited.

"Shhh..."
Kai whispered hiding her wings. She stepped forward, if anyone was going to hurt them it should be her since she healed rather quickly compared to Tim and she was able to become intangible nonetheless and avoid getting a serious injury. She still had some of her otherworldly powers left despite the fact she was becomeing more human. She could almost sense where this man was but more than that she could sense that his intentions were not good.
"This isn't good."

The professor spotted a shadow near one of the stained windows. The huge shadow accounted for a figure with a wide long cape. He had already sensed that no one was in at the apartment. Smiling, the man thought to himself, I guess this will be easier than I thought.The professor sprayed the area with silenced automatic fire through the glass.

Red Cardinal jumped up above the glass window as they were pelted with semi-automatic silent machine gun bullets.
"ugh..."
She moaned looking over. Her left wrist had been shot by one of the bullets and her right cheek and side were grazed by two other bullets.
"Robin! Are you all right?"
She yelled as she tried looking over. She hid above the clock. She hoped that he wasn't hit by the bullets and if it weren't for them hitting the glass windows first she would not have sensed they were coming in time otherwise she would have had a lethal gunshot wound. This was going to be harder than she though, she won't be able to become intangible in time for these bullets since she didn't know the direction or when they were going to hit her. She observed the bullet marks in the dark room trying to decipher the angle they were shot at to see if she could find this shooter.

Dundee and Kori sat in the back as the cabbie (thankfully this time NOT the missile that was Antigua, this was her day off) drove off to the location. Dundee took the time to do some small talk.
"Man, so many things out here . . . this city's huge!" he said. It was bigger than anything he ever saw.
