James stopped and turned around, giving a glare to Rennell.
"maybe you want to help? he only weight about seven or eight hundred pouds of dead weight, that I'm trying to carry with one busted up bioware appendage."
Jessica just chuckled lightly.
"Ah...good to have things back to normal."

Her eyes closed even as she felt her face heat up in shame. It was her fault that all of this was occurring. Indirectly sure, but her fault none the less. She stood straight, the years of proper etiquette her mother had hammered into her taking effect.
Her spine ramrod straight, she nodded stiffly. "I understand Captain. Please let me know those days that I can contact my father and I appreciate the consideration seeing as in light of all of this I don't deserve it. If you'll just excuse me...I...I think I'm going to go back to my room. And for what it's worth...I'm sorry." She shook her head. "I know that doesn't mean a lot considering but I am." She turned and walked out of the med bay, heading back to her room.

Isn't it cute, he wanted to rescuse his girl." Because Rennell had to tease. But his look turned to Jessica. "I don't have to ask why you're in a good mood, you're getting a promotion of choice."
And yet somehow...he managed to crush a woman's emotions. Well damn. But Michael only gave a sigh and shook his head, before merely letting med staff do what they want to him for the moment so that he could get back to Bridge.

Yes james was gruff and annoyed already.
"And it was not just to rescue my 'girl'. I'm the only one here that had specific interaction and proper training."
Jessica poked Rennell in the ribs.
"Promotions aside, I'm more glad that I'm not having you boys dragged there for autopsies. and need I remind you, Mr. sunshine, that you not only put yourself in harms way but you also were due for a checkup anyhow."

"Aw,I'm reminded of my mother. You just exude that glow you know Jess?" Giving a little jump of course at being poked in the ribs and then prodding her back. "Yeah yeah I know, and I would complained then, but at least it would be less...invasive...than this one is going to be." Though a look to James and a snort. "Don't get up on a high horse now James. You were getting kicked around remember? And we all worked together in the end. Now my friends it is an after school special."

"did I say it wasn't? was just justifying my going into 'kill mode' as you put it. though I do say I may have some internal injuries. my vision is getting kinda fuzzy."
but still, there he was dragging the body to a transporter and punching in the code for the living quarter section of Ingenuity.
Jessica shook her head. that man was as stubborn as a mule. sometimes she wondered if he wasn't some secret echo loab experiment to crossbreed a human and a mule.
"All the more reason to see that you both get proper medical care. and don't you start complaining. I can make sure they give you a colonoscopy too if you keep that up."

" I think James needs a does of mellow as well." Hitting the transporter and then hello Ingenuity. "You know, sometimes I think its need how he can tell that. I can't tell that...I could be dying right now." Well wasn't he dramatic? A wide eye look to Jessica. "Yikes, the woman drives a hard bargin. Alright alright, I'll be a good little ray of sunshine and not complain. I'll just close my eyes and....fantasize, find my happy place so to speak while you crack open bioware and so on and so forth.

she loved to use that to scare people new to her ship. James' medical history was damn near bible thick.
James lugged Norrington onto one of the lab tables, and sat back in a chair, resting his head back and closing his eyes a moment.
"Good lord that b*****d is heavy. Anyone know what happened to Lillia, Erik adn Jelena? they all in a med bay or something?"

"Captain, Erik and Jelena I know are in Radiance med bay. Heard Erik call for Lillia to meet them down there. That's as far as this little bird can tell you for sure. If you want after whomever is going to prod at me does so I can go down there and check if you're not up a running by that time." Turning his look to Jessica. "Hey, if it's interesting reading then I'll read it. Sounds kind of fun to know that." Walking over to Norrington and tapping his body. "Can't we just like...pull out his brain and spine and put it in a car of nano solution to keep it alive? That's about seven or eight hundred pounds gone. And it would look neat on Jessica's shelf too."

James opened one eye ato Rennell.
"Because his system's are integrated to not allow that. or I would have ripped it out back in the ehco labs. saved the trip of dragging his sorry a** back here."
but no more talk, James got a staff to help him up and into the back medrooms for his physical and bioware checkup and work, and they pulled rennell into another one.
Jessica for her part sat down by the table Norrington was laying on, got herself some coffee and a few hookup computers and the like, and started her own diagnostics and procedures.

He struggled only slightly as he was pulled away into another room, whining of course as he usually did before every procedure he underwent. Hey he was the life of the party as far as he was concerned. At least he'd be occupied for oh...five or so hours at the least, maybe the rest of the night. Looked like everyone else was playing in med bays anyway.

James was laying on his back, bioware opened up. one coudl see the bone type structure, adn all teh wiring and gears and gyros, pistons and cuh that made his arm function. his head was open, adn the moving parts in that clicking and whirling as well. casing to his arm were being replaced, as well as repairs to the damaged areas. while on the other side, medical doctors were monitoring injuries and working on some of thier own minor surgeries to fix his biological needs. namely a broken rip that had puntcured a lung, not a major gaping thing, but a sliver. and they of course all agreed he had a concussion.
Jessica was working and getting more and more frustrated. everytime she tried to activate select parts, the internal systems in Norrington's body were trying to reroute the power to get him able to move. and after disceting a portion of the arm with teh blade, found a internal genetics encoder with a satelltie signal array...but couldn't detach the arm due to teh intricate system setups. So a hit on her comm to Micheal.
"I got bad news and worse news. which do you want to hear first?"

At this point, Michael was back in Bridge and bringing things to order there, a few view screens resting on the damaged areas of Ingenuity and Envision that were being repaired and put back in order. Oh he was going to have to make a trip to Impression after this to get his mental stress levels down. Fein would have fun with that. But his attention shifted to the comm clipped to his shoulder and he pushed the button on it. "Give it to me in a way that you think I won't have a heart attack over."
Erik had moved back to Envision nad to the back, checking on Thobias as Jelena's resquest. Of course they couldn't put the injured animal back with the others just yes...just in case there may of been a secondary problem caused from that blade or something of the sorts. After all, his fenrir genetic coding was the weakest in the bunch because he was the first, had to watch out for these things.
Jelena was sitting up at this point, and in quite the uncomfortable state seeing as how much she had just exerted herself in the past six or so hours including the downtime she was having in here. "So how much longer am I going to be miserable now, and can I go back to work anytime soon?" Poking at the IV in her arm idly.
"Well...you won't be working much anyway for the next few days with the way that Erik said your office was. And with MISSED down, didn't you loose everything?"
"I have a backup, all good scientific nerds do."
"Well still...there's your office and upload time. So you don't have much choice. And tomorrow, you're going to be very very stiff and sore...and I'm not giving you narcotics and no one else is either and you're not getting them yourself. Just normal painkillers, two at a time, no more than three at a time. You junkie." SHaking his head lightly. "Just relax for the next few days, chill in your room. Let other people do work."

"okay. bad news is I can't power anything up without like eight systems trying to siphon power and fully activate him. worse news..after dismantling the sword arm...which had several other weapons in it based on Echo information...it had a blood storage unit, a genetic encoder and a high power satellite transmitter. which means odds are someone now has the gentetic sequence to a Fenrir."

He restrained the urge to should obscenities at the top of his lungs and merely took a breath, held it a moment and then let it out very slowly. "Which means someone connected to him and most likely Jacklyn Nickko has that genetic code." He was going to have to both Jelena now and be the bad guy. Why his Fleet? "Can you take him apart piece by piece and do anything that way?" Looking for really any angle right now. But a sigh from him. "We may have to make a trip down to Earth."
