I have to agree, that was kind of cool, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it was made for. Was it supposed to be an opening for somebody's person anime related thing?

It had something to do with some sort of music video making contest at a convention.
They apparently have all sorts of genres/themes for videos to enter for (Comedy, action, best in show, etc...)
I see. I have never tried anything like that, but then again, my skills aren't every good with those so I wouldn't win anything as you already know.

Well, you never know. Besides, practice makes perfect and as it stands at least you're able to practice.
That is true. I haven't done anything with videos in some time though.... I mean a very long time.

I can't say for certain, but I think I haven't made anything in roughly a 3/4 of-to a whole year.

Sounds about right for me too. I haven't made a thing in some time. I have a video that is about 3/4 of the way done that I haven't finished due to having no time or no motivation...

Exactly. I may just try and finish that unfinished one now that we are talking about it, but I"m not really in the mood for it.

I'd have to agree with that.

Anything else new on your end?

I don't know. I'm hoping so. I'm meeting with my instructor to talk about that on Wednesday. So hopefully something can be done...

And the verdict?

Not good. Remember how I said I could only lose a total of 13 points before I fail out of the class, well I'm down to being able to lose just one more point in the course of one day... I had a very bad day and it costed me dearly. To be totally honest there isn't anyway to save me in that class now. Being totally honest here when I say there is absolutely no way that I will make it through 5 more labs and miss no more than one point... It is really hard to swallow when all four instructors that were present all said the same thing that I may not be suited for the career. That made a total of five of them to say that to me. But they aren't kicking me out of the program since I am doing so well in the book work portion of things. They even said that there is no doubt in their mind that I could succeed in any book assignment, quiz, or exam they could ever give me, but my hands on and social skills are not there as of yet. They gave me some options and those would be to drop all classes I'm taking right now which would result in failing four classes which would take me out of the program, to just continue on with all courses in hopes of being successful (even though they already know it wont happen and they were just being nice enough not to say it) and then take a break to hopefully develop the skills I'm lacking in and explore other options that may be better for me and to come back later, or to continue on with my classes in hopes of success and then continue on with the program without a break. I'm not sure what to do and they are giving me a week to figure it out... I do know one thing and that is giving up is not an option.

A tough situation indeed.

But in a certain sense, both paths will lead to the same destination. One will get you there directly while the other is more of a round about.

Since your heart is already set on it, it's only really a matter of which path you wish to take.

Well, I needed a bit more clarification on something and got the from one of my instructors that are involved in this and she said that I don't actually need to drop all of the courses. I can keep the ones that I'm doing well in. However, in the eyes of my instructors there are two concern classes. I understand the one because I'm concerned about it, but I don't understand why they are concerned about the other one... I have an A in the class at the moment so it really makes no sense. That being said, if I were to drop the classes of concern I would be dropped from the program because although my GPA for the college will not be affected in the eyes of the program it is a fail. So two failed classes equals being dropped, I am not really wanting to take that route either. It is really looking like just continuing on with all classes regardless of the outcome is my option, but which one should I take the break or no break. My thoughts on that are kind of split. I feel like it could benefit me to take the break to hopefully gain the skills needed to pass the class. I feel that if I just go without taking the break my skills aren't going to improve and I will just end up failing again.... However, I wonder if that is really the best path.

Al i can do is tell you what i think.

I think the break would be better for you. Frankly you don't want to burn yourself and only feel bitter about it all in the end.

That is what I was thinking, but not exactly for that reason, but it fits too. But now I'm in another bind. I got a hold of my instructor who is also the head coordinator of our program and my current program adviser (my true program adviser is out because of surgery) and she said the last day to drop any classes is today and she actually told that she would suggest that I just drop the one class that I'm completely failing and keep all of the others. But they are also saying that I should get in contact with them before doing anything. Too bad I haven't heard back from anybody as of yet and I have tried to get a hold of them. It is a weekend and they aren't in their offices on weekends.

Makes sense to me. (pretty much how I use to be all the time.)
