Hufflepuff definately has the coolest house name, I'm glad to be in this house.

I don't see a problem with the other houses. I see qualities from the other houses in myself. I hate, though, how everyone seems to think that Hufflepuffs are stupid or outcasts. It makes me sad.

It makes me sad. Same here... Hufflepuffs don't need to prove themselves like the other houses, I guess. I guess that is mistaken for being stupid, or inferior... But whatever, I think they are cool!

Hi - I just happened to look through Hufflepuff House (I'm head of Ravenclaw) and found your post - asking how one gets house points. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We haven't appointed a Head of Hufflepuff yet.
At the moment, prefects and House Heads can give points. I do so for outstanding posts or ideas. We are in the process of setting up a point system which will be a sticky of different ways one can get points, and are tossing around different ideas, proposing special prizes to the top point gatherers in each house, awarding the House cup each term, etc. We would welcome ideas if you have any.
I hold the Hufflepuffs in the highest esteem. After all, when the Sorting Hat, unConfounded, selected a Hogwarts champion, it choose one --Cedric Diggory--from your House. We speak of Ravenclaw Pride, but Hufflepuffs have every reason to feel just as proud!!
Please PM any of the mods of the Guild if a question of yours is unanswered for more than 2 days, and I apologize again for the wait!

I don't know if any of my fellow Hufflepuffs have noticed or not, but the race to earn points for the House Cup is ongoing again since the first of August. The Ravenclaws and Slytherins are currently in the lead. Lets show the other three houses our Hufflepuff pride, and go out and earn that cup! Lets make Cedric Diggory proud!
