Emiri stood up from Mightyena at the sound of the voice coming towards them. She listened intently at what he had to say, and to her shock, was quite interested at the idea of being on a boat, however unfond of water she was.
"Whatever it takes," Emiri offered, stepping into the conversation.
"We'll help rebuild the docks, so we can get to those Kingdra faster, and my Gyarados could help your Wailmer track them. Let's just say, I understand my pokemon very well," she said, offering everything she could to help.

Brayden listened as Hugo explained his suggestion, nodding in understanding. He hadn't thought of tracking the dragons as they returned, but it made sense.
"If it helps any, I have several water types who could help keep tabs on the Kingdra as well. And I can help rebuild the docks too. We could gather the needed wood from the areas outside of Fuchsia, and our Pokemon could help as well." He had to admit, the idea of fixing up the docks, even temporarily, made him feel just a smidgeon better about the whole situation. Although the town was still MIA, at least there was one thing he remembered about his home that was still (partially) intact.

Kaya listened in on Hugo's plan, finding that the sailor seemed to have had this plan in mind for a while or so it seemed. "That sounds like a plan to me. I'll help any way I can." he offered.
He watched as Alex's Mightyena approached Emiri. He kept it to himself, choosing to only acknowledge the speech of Psychic types since the incident back home, but he understood the Mightyena's inquiry, fighting hard to not answer for him.

"The rest of you can rest up before we leave. I'll call in the ship as soon as I'm able."

Hugo had wandered off after he made his statement, and had set out to gather those he could from the people who had gathered to help. After sending a few Bird Keepers to Celadon for the building supplies that couldn't be obtained from the woods on the outskirts of town, the sailor set out with others from the gathered refugees, and headed out to collect enough lumber to build a makeshift dock.
Construction was well underway soon after, trainers using their Pokemon to help, and the dock was soon looking more like a pier and less like a pile of destroyed lumber.
Every once in a while, Hugo would send out his Wailmer on reconnaissance, checking up on the Kingdra. It appeared he was right in his guess, the pair had taken up residence in a small cove just offshore, keeping to the ocean caves while they recovered from the battle with the group.
The dock was slowly taking shape. It wasn't an expert job by any means (there were still a few knots and twigs here and there in the wood), but it soon was able to withstand the weight of all those who were working on it, so it was at least plausibly safe. It wouldn't win any pretty awards, but it would get the job done.
Once the dock didn't look like it would collapse with a slight breeze, Hugo took it upon himself to give the call to his friends offshore. Careful to steer them away from the Kingdra's rented cavern, the shipping vessel could soon be seen offshore, approaching to the dock area, and finally coming to rest anchor in the deep water at the far end of the newly-constructed temporary dock.
"It looks like we're about set. We can set out once the Kingdra set sail," Hugo explained once he had located the group once again. "So basically its just board and bail."
Chloe had spent the time mostly hanging out by the shoreline, giving her party a bit of fresh air and trying to keep Enyo from the construction zone, lest the ever-hungry iron-eater decided that the hammers and nails would make a nice snack. It was a nice break, but she couldn't help but worry about Brayden. After all, this was his home, wasn't it? She just hoped there was a way to bring the city back after this whole mess was done with. If the sword could make it vanish, perhaps it could bring it back?
Chloe hoped it was that simple, watching Daimon dance along the waves.

Kaya released all of his Pokemon once the Kingdra had retreated, allowing all of them except Rem to roam about. All of them (sans Trojana) were able to help with the docks in some way. He simply held Rem in his arms, the Jirachi playing like a stuffed toy in the presence of others than his Masters' friends.
"How you holding up, Love?" the male asked as he approached Brayden, his eyes full of concern. Those mismatched eyes searched for some semblance of the usual Bray in his husband's own green ones.

"Alright guys, let's get ready to head out." Aku said to the pokemon he still had out. He returned Dratini and Ivysaur back to their pokeballs and picked up his Eevee. With a smile he petted his oddly shiny Eevee and looked to the rest of the group. "I'll head first onto the boat, I'll meet you all there" Aku said with a laugh. He walked carefully on the new pier and hefted himself onto Hugo's boat and looked out over the water. "Wartortle will love this.. Come out Wartortle!" Aku said summoning his turtle pokemon. Wartortle looked up at Aku who motioned out to the water. Wartortle's eyes went wide and Aku nodded. "Go on buddy you earned a nice relaxing swim." Aku said with a smile. Wartortle did not hesitate one bit to jump into that water and swim around. Chloe gathered up her party as well, opting to leave Daimon in the water for the time being. While he might not be too incognito trailing after two other Kingdra, at the very least he could enjoy the open ocean for a change. Chloe cast a look back at Kaya and Bray, choosing to let the two alone for now, and headed onwards to the dock. She made her way down the wooden pier, and after getting the go-ahead from Hugo, hopped aboard the ship.
She tried to stay off to the side and out of the way of the sailors. While she had been on several boats over the course of her journey thus far, she still had no earthly idea on how they were run. So she decided that keeping out of the way would be the best idea for her at least.
So Chloe stuck to the railing, watching a few Magikarp swish along beside the hull before vanishing beneath the foam of the waves.

Emiri had had her team out for the durration of repairing the pier. Gyarados enjoyed the water around, trailing Wailmer now and again to find the Kingdra, as the rest of Emiri's pokemon stayed with her, knowing full well what would be coming soon. Watching all the trainers and everyone around, contributing so much, was inspirational to Emiri, and knew that she and her friends could do anything to help out.
Emiri watched as the boat came onto shore, and was enticed at the idea of being on a boat, but not so much at the water. Returning her pokemon, Gyarados staying out in the water, Emiri made her way wearily onto the dock, making sure not to take any wrong steps, even though she was quite sure it was stable. Getting on the boat, Emiri clung to the railing on the inner edge of the ship, watching as Gyarados trailed beside her.

Brayden had decided to spend his time during the dock repairs searching for anything that would be of use in the arid sandy spot where his hometown once stood. Although it gave him a bit of exercise, that was about the only benefit to the excursion he found. He figured it had been worth a shot, though. He had even tried to see if there was anything he could do with the Aqua Buckler that would help. A foolish notion, he knew, and he did it far out of the way from the others, if only so they wouldn't witness his utter failure with the idea. But again, it was worth a shot, right?
He had tried to find where his parents' place had stood, although that was nigh near impossible. It was hard to get one's bearings in the flat expanse, and there were no landmarks other than dirt and a few rocks.
So Brayden returned back to the shoreline, feeling a bit tired, and a bit discouraged. He tried not to let it show, and even Ariadne did a bit to help, returning to her Pokeball so she wouldn't make any comments on her trainer's situation that the others may overhear (they came mentally to Brayden anyway, however). Who's to say she never did anything nice for Bray?
When Kaya approached him to ask how he was doing, Brayden couldn't help a strained smile, "You know its kind of silly that it takes something like this to get me to visit home, huh? I've been in the region several times, but I never do seem to get back here. Its more than a little pathetic," he grumped.
"I just hope they're okay," suddenly finding it hard to swallow, Brayden found the beach sand really interesting for a few moments. He took a few shaky breaths to calm down a bit, before daring to look back upwards. Even then he couldn't even managed the thin smile from before.
"We have to make sure Lance doesn't do this to anywhere else," he stated thickly, the words thankfully not breaking as they left his mouth, before heading towards the newly reconstructed pier. The decorative orb on the center of the buckler at his back swirled in hue, not an unstable storm, more of a troubled churning of color that reflected Brayden's feelings at the moment.
