Mandy had been stealthily staring at the now wet and shirtless Barth when the shout about an ominous cloud went up.
What the....? That was certainly different to the rather cheerful weather that she had assumed was the norm for the place.

Suddenly, the hunchback was aware that everyone had grown quiet, his attention drawn up to the darkening sky. Uh oh.... backwards feet or not, he quickly started retying his laces.

Sin frowned up at the ominous black clouds that seemed to gather. She tensed and looked around then at Christof. It seemed everyone was wary of them, she slowly moved into a better position to duck and roll. She did not want to be caught unaware, her eyes scanned the area as she felt her muscles slowly tense.

"Hey don't feel bad at all. Don't worry I understand why you might be upset." She smiled softly before turning to Tahki who gave a shrill chirp of pure delight at the mention of her proper name. To which Sammy could only return with a grin. "So Tahki is it? The awesome Gryphon who gave me a ride, kicked butt beside me, and makes for a great cannonball buddy."
She turned again pausing before joining the other to eye the darkening sky. "Oh hell..."

How strange. There were a lot of students that had gotten thrown back into Candycane lane. Alcie was really starting to dislike explosions... Then she noticed that everybody was staring up at the dark sky. Hm? She stared up at the ominous looking cloud and began to walk towards it. Her curiosity always seemed to get the better of her.

He had sobbed. Cried. Tears of FEAR rolled down once pink smiling cheeks and he watched poor Gizmo fade into JOY. She had done so much for him. So much. She thaught him what it was to be the rider of an epic mount. She carried him like a abomination only could. From he, he had discovered his love mounts. He would go one to mount a great many things someday, but no, not today. After she had faded into the pure white snow, the Siren laid his blue head rose upon the spot where she had fallen. "Rest in peace fair Gizmo, may the winds of JOY take you-" He shrugged. "To where ever they take you." Walking along the lane of candy, he was quite pouty, popping his last pumpkin pill to get another boost of energy. But even that couldn't cheer him up. Neither could the sight of his classmates all hot tubbing. Or the idea of Riley's boobies. Cider Fairy titty could cheer him up. He felt akin to a rather gray ghost he so despised back in halloween town. He felt like he should wear more black as he was mourning his fallen mount.

The marid hadn't so much as moved an inch from where she and West had come to a stop near the waters edge. Yes, it looked warm and inviting, heavenly even, but there was something distinctly unsettling about it, their surroundings, and the positively rigid way some of the others were standing. Specifically those that had been down Candy Cane Lane before.
No, nice as it seemed, and boy did it look nice.. She wasn't going init, or even near it. It was far too tempting. Squaring her shoulders, Hadiyya tightened her grip on West's arm and took a step back. Then another, finally turning away. If they were attacked now, she had little doubt in her mind that those relaxing in the pool would be sitting ducks. If she let herself be that vulnerable, well Braum would simply never forgive her.
"Let's go keep watch with Barth." Of course, now that she turned to look at the other avarice demon, she couldn't help but notice he was rashly approaching comatose with a good nap. "..Temptation everywhere. This place is the devil."

Lizzy smiled gratefully at the sound of the demon-with-a-long-name's bells, "Thanks... I needed that." The pain on her legs from when she had bruised them from the fall faded just a little, but she was thankful nonetheless for the help. She then turned gratefully towards Laiha despite not knowing her name, "And thank you too - I feel better already!"
Random healing is awesome.
She had never been to this part of Christmas, and decided to let everyone else lead the way. She just followed, walking beside Petro and Amrita while wondering if it was a good time to get them to talk about their... Relationship. Before she could make up her mind, however, the group stopped at somewhere warm, although it was too humid for her liking... Spiders and water never did have a good relationship.
"Fire? Well, a camp fire would be nice," She mused, inclining her head and smiling at Amrita to reassure her that it would be alright, "Its a fire we can put out at any time! Also, I think we could use somewhere to dry up after entering the hot springs... Or after going through that... Ominous dark cloud?"
Right, just when she thought it was fine again.

PHASE 1: From the clouds burst a large, black shape: a giant flaming head of a dragon. It wasn't until the students looked both left and right that they realised that hill next to them was the entire creature, and the clouds the smoke it was exhaling.
 And it was NOT happy to see the students.
It might have also ate Jingleberry. Flames burst left and right from where it stood, smiting some students on the spot. They never even had a chance to say their byes.
RULES:
- If you rolled A 50 OR LESS your student is back in the infirmary. This is an INSTANT KO, no pumpkin pills, nothing. Poof! You do get to unlock this awesome Feat of Strength for attempting to be heroic, though.
- If you rolled 51 or HIGHER we are on to Phase 2. Try you best to dodge the flames and roll TWO 100 sided dice. Good luck!

As the pink-shirted Gizmo faded away, there was one small consolation, one last thing the Rescue Reindeer did for the Siren. Where she had fallen was now a neat green little box wrapped in shiny paper. There was a tag on it that read simply as, Always. Of course, Israfel didn't have a chance to see this as the surrounding area was just set on fire. The box went up in flames, fading away as quickly as Israfel's former mount went. ...It still had an ashy, charred and burned smell about it when Israfel discovers it in his pocket later in the Infirmary.
