We would most certainly like to see your write up. And I think I'm familiar with the book you're mentioning. I haven't read it but I have seen it mentioned. I'll see if I can dig up a title and an author for you.
Also, some of the Tafl interest springs form the fact that there are a few Heathens around here. It doesn't take much study into Scandinavian culture to run across Tafl of one sort or another.

More of a catalogue of references than anything else, and then I'll put in a little analysis. I'm not extraordinarily familiar with their context in Scandinavian myths, so I'm looking forward to the research. If anyone has some good places to start looking I'd appreciate it.

Interests: Art, Reading/Writing, Fishing, Hiking/Backpacking, Climbing, Exploring, (basically I like the outdoors), Movies, Anime, Video Games, Paranormal Stuff, History, Mythology and Lore, Science, etc.
Religion: I do not have a specific religion, but there are many things I do believe.
How long have you been a (religion): I know I have been actively involved in researching and learning about various types of paganism and stuff for at least eight years.
Random fact about yourself: The Short-Eared Owl is one of my favourite animals. razz (how's that for random? lol)

Interests: Playing the Flute, Reading, Films, Music the list is very long so I will stop now LOL !
Religion: Solitary Hedgewitch (Could say also bit eclectic as I use all sorts of bits and pieces from Neo Wicca, Wicca, Shamanism)
How long have you been in a (religion): Tricky answer. I knew from a age 5/6 that Christanity was right for me but I didnt know nor understand the thigns I felt certainly didnt realise it was Paganism. But when I did learn I then understood what It was when I was a child, so could argue paganism in general 32 years but practicting Hedgewitch 22 years started at age 15. You do the maths now you now what an old crusty I am eek
Random fact about yourself: I live in the UK and have 2 children. I particularly like working with dream interpretations and divination and live in a 200 year old house stacked with history and visiting spirits surprised )

Interests: Reading, writing, exploring, discovering new and interesting things, learning about what I find interesting, nature, television, exploring my own feelings and those of the people around me... And so much more...
Religion: I don't exactly have a label for it yet... A little of this and that, honestly, that I pull from all sorts of religions and combine to get a path that seems right for me... Do I need to define it? Isn't it enough that I understand it and feel good and right about what I'm doing? When it comes to religion, isn't it enought that you feel good about what you're doing?

How long have you been a (religion): I first got an interest and began researching when I was 13, but I believe that it really began to count about a year ago
Random fact about yourself: I am a circle friend of a Wiccan teaching coven that is tolerant of and allows the presence of all religions. I am also a belly dancer.
