"Tamara," called out Lucien. "Why don't you go too?"
Like her brother she sensed the hesitation in these people and sighed. "I guess to show them its safe." She entered the gate and walked down the short tunnel past Leith to the other door.

Not going to be deterred by a little darkness, Jessie drew a pistol and started down the dark alleyway. She could barely see five feet in front of her, and the still-falling rain didn't help. She had to keep one hand on the wall to help guide her during her slow going. After what seemed like the better portion of two minutes, Jessie could start to hear voices - with emphasis on the plural. She knew she must have had wandered on something important, but she couldn't exactly hear what the voices were saying. Staying as quiet as she could be, Jessie continued down the alley, her quickened pace caused by sheer excitement.

Lucien heard someone arrive a bit closer, so before the intruder could come any closer, he solidified the wall. "Get going NOW!" He hissed, silently.

Leith glanced over her shoulder and then hurried behind the young girl. She didn't like how Lucien had become forceful, it scared her.

Jessie was reaching the end now. She could make out a figure standing at the end of the alley, and his (or, at least she thought it was a he) last words were clearly audible. Without a second thought, she pointed her firearm in the direction of the outline. "Who's there?" She asked, squinting at the shadowy figure, trying to get a better look at him. "I'm no enemy!" She added.

Lucien sealed up the gate, letting tamara lead them to their destination and faced the person behind him. "That depends on the person you're pointing a gun at."
Tamara opened the door, revealing their destination. "This Harrison Blvd?"

Leith looked around and nodded, "Yeah." She looked behind to find that they were short one. "Where did Lucien go?"

Warakai stepped out onto Harrison blvd feeling a little strange as he could no longer smell the sea which had been a pretty dominant smell only a few seconds ago.

Tamara looked worried. "Nii-chan must've been held back....something must've kept him back...the other end is closed..."

"Get going NOW!" He hissed, silently.
Lucien's almost threatening whisper startled Mike, making him nearly jump out of his skin. Looking back, he saw a girl with a gun pointed right at them. He heard her say something, but his mind was on her gun. The shuffling of feet in front of him snapped his attention back to the portal, and off he went, hoping Lucien wouldnt get hurt again.
Or worse, killed.
Mike panicked as the portal behind him closed and for a moment, he was shrouded in complete darkness. But that was probably because he clamped his eyes shut again. But as soon as he blinked them open, he raced out of the shadowy alley onto an entirely different part of town. Looking back, darkness churned behind him menacingly.
"Nii-chan must've been held back....something must've kept him back...the other end is closed..."
Mike shifted his attention to little Tamara, who seemed very worried about her brother. She reminded Mike of himself at that age, when his brother seemed like he was forever at war.
"I'm sorry," The man had said. "Your son, Jake Widtsoe, has fallen."
Mike shook his head, still a little zoned out from the shadows. If anything happened to Lucien... what would become of this girl?

"knowing this city she would probably end up in a workhouse or something" Warakai said with a little disdain. "so how far to your aunts Leith?" he asked.
Demi leveled her AK a little shocked when four people appeared out of nowhere she took a few seconds trying to judge what had just happened. The group was definitely not imperials she observed the group for a few seconds until she caught sight of someone who drew her attention.

Leith relaxed some, remembering that she was so close to rest, and she smiled as she pointed to a normal looking apartment building, "Only a street and a few floor sperating us now. Should we wait for Lucien?"

"No...Nii-chan can handle himself. He'd want us to keep going...still I worry...", said Tamara. She walked forward and closed the black door which faded away. "He'll find us, I'm sure of it."

"Okay, well...Are you alrigt with going up into the apartment with us? We'll probably eat something and go straight to sleep, but you can wait untill Lucien shows up. I'm sure my aunt won't mind, she understands our kind." Leith offered as she started to lead the group across the street towards the front of the door.

Tamara nodded. She hadn't learned how to create the gate to her home yet. She remembered Lucien trying to, but she never paid attention.
