I'm not sure if there is one for using them further down the road or not, but no, not at this moment. However, I barely passed the instrument exam, but passing is passing so I'm content.

Then it's all good. Congrats.
It is better than the poor saps who failed it. My instructor for that class is too nice because she is giving a second chance exam for those that failed it. If you ask me they should not be able to redo it at all. They weren't prepared for it so they deserve the failing grade that they got. I would be saying this even if I had failed too. I would have failed the class too, but oh well. If that is how it would have gone I would have accepted it.

Yeah, well, that is just how I feel about it. I mean they aren't going to get second chances when working out in the field so they shouldn't get one while in classes either. It doesn't teach them responsibility.

I'm glad that it makes sense to you. It made sense as I was writing it to me anyway. But I want to know what your opinion on this topic is. You heard mine and now I want yours.

On the field, there are no second chances. There is an animals life in your hands and if you mess up the animal dies. Thus it's a very serious situation.

But when it comes to tests, I'm kind of uncertain because of the sometimes confusing nature of them based on wording, time limits, or some unforeseeable factors. But otherwise, your assessments was fair.

Well, there were no words to this exam. Literally look at the instrument in front of you face and tell the teacher what it is. It isn't that difficult and there isn't really too much of a reason for that many people to have failed...

That's pretty straight forward. No idea how anyone can fail it.

Exactly... I almost did, but still. I have problems with being around people as it is. I was stuffed in a small room with around 40-50 other students all of which trying to move around the room at the same time to get to all of the instruments... I also have A.D.D. to add to issues. So all of the constant moving of the other students really distracted me... So I really have to question why so many failed without any of the issues I have when I managed to pass even if it was just barely.

Laziness, idiocy, take your pick I suppose.

Though it must have been hell on your nerves to be around so many people during such a test like this.

Believe me, it was. I was half tempted to ask the instructor if there was any way I could possibly take it at another time with no other people around or at least fewer people around, but I didn't. I doubt she would have let me anyway.

Yeah, I could have done better though, but passing is passing so I can't complain. Besides I was one point away from a B... So it isn't horrible. Now I just need to find a way to get the grades needed on my finals to pass the classes. I think I have enough points accumulated in all of them to get at least a C which is passing. I just need to score high enough on my finals to pass those. It is like last semester, if I don't score a certain score on my final exam in a class I automatically fail the class regardless of the points I have accumulated to that point. It sucks, but I understand why they do it that way.

Do you have summer break or summer classes afterwards?

I have a two week break then I go back for summer semester. Totally against my wishes I may add. I have never taken classes in the summer and really wish I didn't have to now.
