Lud stops you all after about an hour of traveling through the labyrinthine tunnels.
"Shh," he says, looking back and holding a finger to his lips.
You can all hear some people arguing nearby.
"We can't do it!" one says.
"We have to!" the second says. "They've helped us too much for us to let them fall like Aerust!"
"You're insane!"

Xiao follows you in a similar stance, her mask covering her face for the first time since you've known her. You estimate that the voices are at least ten feet to the right of this four-way connection.

Nyx:
They are not looking right now. It looks like a pair of dwarves, as one would expect of these tunnels. You feel like something's off about this area, though...Even so, you signal to Xiao, who scurries across the opening quickly and peers out from behind the wall, looking at the dwarves.
"Come on!" the left one says. "We helped them so much, why not now?!"
"Because it's not our place to intervene in surface wars!" the right one replies.
