B-but Kaiori-san..... do those people, the people from the dojo, the ones that still call you a friend....do you want to hurt them.... does it matter to you that to go through with this you'll have to hurt them?

no...they will get over it...I've died before..some never even knew I was gone... but they all have loved ones to turn to...every single one... that's why I feel so alone... that's why I suffer...because I have no one...I never had someone and never will... I'm just the girl men use when their lovers are gone ! *she spits out*

*Than's crying is blatantly obvious. He sobs between sentences* You're wrong! Axl.... it's been almost two months since his father died.... yet he still remembers him in the hopes of coming back. He has family and loved ones too... but he hasn't let his father leave his mind. Kaiori-san..... to me...you're the one I always felt closest to...more so than my mother, father, or sister. When I found out you were gone...... I just lost it. Yes.... I know about the horrible monster I can become....otosan showed me *He waits a few moments before continuing* You....mean so much to me.... I don't even know why I continue to care for you even through all this pain..... I just don't get it.... why...why do you want me to leave you behind......why do you want to leave me and all of them behind. You're.......you're more than just another person...

*kaiori falls to her knees* stop it ! *she trembles.. for once she understood, the one thing she wanted was the one thing she was afraid of..getting attatched..she sobs softly on the forest floor, she wanted it to stop.. all of it !*

*Apollo storms through the forest.* What the heck is going on !? *He kneals by kaiori, wrapping his arms around her with a protective glare at Thanatos.* What do you think you're doing !?

Ka...Kaiori-san.... *Than kneels down in front of her, first on one knee then both. With a little hesitation, he leans forward and puts his arms around Kaiori. Whenever she'd done so to him he'd always felt at ease, he could only hope he could so the same*..I...I'm sorry Kaiori.... I just couldn't let you go on believing you were nothing..... *He tries to keep his head half way up. When Apollo comes he releases his hold, and looks back at him with teary eyes* I... I was just.....telling her....that... *He trails off*

huh? *Than stops and looks back at Kaiori, at least happy to see her eyes again. He smiles as best he can for her then shakes his head* Kaiori-san..... trust me.... you haven't lost anything. The only difference between what you were before and who you are now.... is that it's harder for you to smile. And, if you need me to, I'll smile for you. I will remember, I promise.....but please, don't tell me that you're not that person..... I haven't given up on believing in you at any time..... *He just watches her for a moment*
