Cross your fingers kids, my niece is supposed to come home for the weekend tomorrow and with the way the weather might be in Boston we don't know if she'll be able to make it.

Life lesson learned today: When the hot dip comes out of the oven let the stuff cool off before digging into it lest ye suffer the pain of a mouth blister. Oh boy does that hurt. My mouth is going to be tender for a few days.

Since today was both Thanksgiving AND my birthday, I had to do the cooking. We had my signature enchiladas (made with gluten free tortillas of course) and some awesome Asian stir fry with Korean BBQ stir fry sauce. There was a small side of candied yams. We also opened the bottle of sparkling black currant juice. Not bad for a non traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, and gluten free brownie cupcakes with chocolate chips. emotion_drool
For tomorrow's dinner I predict leftover enchiladas. wink
