Kamahl waved to the waiter and ordered another drink...the same as before.
"Would you like anything?"

He licks one of his canines and leans back in his chair. The waiter brings back his drink and Kamahl nods to him.

He puts the quarter back on the table and slides it back to her.

Lin pushed against the doors to nearly fall into the room. Her baggy jeans hung haphazardly to her hips and her black shirt which read 'Im up here' with an arrow to pointing to her head was a little disheveled from running.
The combat boots she wore sqeeked a little as she entered cautiously, mostly from all the sprinklers she had to run through. Her hair was unbound again, wet from a shower and like midnight streeks to her waist.
She had literally used her nose to find him...a first for her...

Kamahl sensed that Lin had entered the bar. While still looking down at the quarter, he said loudly...
"Hey, Lin...good to see you up and moving."
