Sodain smiled softly. "I'm Sodain this is one of my forms, my non combat dragon form. This is how I truly look like". He said softly helping the man up and to a chair so he could eat.
The innkeeper sighed. "Not sure all I know is my wife found a baby in a basket upon out steps one day. a Necklace she had with her was engraved the name Roberta. I call her wench because the only thing shes good at is taking care of lizards." He said softly.

He nodded sitting at the tbale and ate taking his time. "thank you and....that's interesting. always thought you were a guy. guess that book was right when I read in it that looks are decieving and to never trust just one sight."
Arosa listened thinking this over. "She did? Does she wear it or do you have it? And at least she's not useless to you at the least." She said nodding and remembered her leader saying it could be one that isn't taking part of the compatition and began to wonder if this girl was the one they were seeking but would need to wait and find out.

"She usually wears that necklace. Except when it thunderstorms she can get so scared when a mild thunderstorm rolls in, shes probably cowerin somewhere in the barn crying her eyes out, and there is no way I nore my wife can comfort her." He said sighing.
Sodain laughed a bit. "yes specially when it comes to born dragons like me, I can do both roles of both genders. I can make a female carry a child, Or I can carry a child in form of an dragon egg from any male. As well as randomly I can't exactly control how I look at times. Like now heck can't really take a human form right now either so I am kinda stuck like this right now." Sodain purred sighing laying down on the floor beside him just talking to him though being rather feisty. his tail swished a bit as if restless. "One reason i'm stuck like this might be just that its my biological heat cycle where I would make more then one egg if a male bred me." Sodain shrugged a bit.

"I see....well if you don't mind....I'm sure she's being comforted. My lizard is....speical and is good at sensing things. She will be fine." She said nodding softly and wondered what was going on in the barn.
The man looked down at him confused then nodded slowly. "I see.....that's different. Never heard of that. Sorry I can't help but....I can't cheat on my wife. Plus I don't feel comfortable you talking like you are a thing." He said feeling uncomfortable with the situation and feeling sorry for him?

The innkeeper nodded a bit. "I do hope she is safe and being treated nicely." He said seeming worried that she could be freaking out.
Niados was cuddling with the girl rubbing her back softly purring and hissing and humming softly to drown out the sounds of the storm. Roberta was curled up against Niados's chest listening to his song as she fell asleep.
Sodain sighed. "Sorry but when the facts of life crop up in conversation some things about it can't be helped being mentioned, anyone who can not handle the mention of the process of might be a cause needs to grow up because it's just mentioning a possible reason for one like myself being stuck like this, without propositioning someone. And that the person that can't deal with just the mere mention of such a reason needs to crow up and get their heads out of the clouds, The mention of sex or the act of sex is part of life, Without it you wouldn't have been born and is just a fact of life it happens to come up at times. And can not always be filtered out of every possible mention of reasons why someone like me might be stuck in a form like this. If you can't see it as just conversation and not propositioning someone when it is clearely not the case you need to get your head out of your fantasy world blocking it out because everyone can't do as you do when it is an obvious suggestion and not trying to offer ones self upon someone else." Sodain gets pissed off not realizing the tower wide communications was still broadcasting his voice.
"Just because I mention that I am stuck in this form for a while and guess it might be because I am going through a fact of life heat cycle like the god damned beast I am that all beasts go through does not mean I am telling you to have sex with me! ARGH! Sodain lets out a booming roar then gets up stomping out of the room and has a complete pissed off look on his face going into the room with the black door slamming it hard and locking it with a few large stone and steel locking bars.

The guy that was part shadow slowly put his utinsle down and sighed, standing and put his dishes in the sink after walking to the kitchen suddenly not feeling welcomed and as though he was just causing inconveonce for Sodain.
The other four explorers heard this and looked down, wanting to look around to gather more data but was feeling horrible for how their thoughts were and moved slowly out of the eating area and went back to their room they had, closing the door softly, laying down and waiting out the storm, feeling now if they looked around it'd be disrespectful because they were human and didn't know the exact race of those from Syna or to how they thought or anything.
Lita was silent, pulling her legs close to her chest sighing, closing her eyes wondering now if it was wise for Sodain when he was disguised for him to bring humans to the tower due to how angry it made him because they obviously by his rage had not been accepted with open arms by the humans.
Up on the third floor Kuri sighed as Itari shook his head his hope Sodain would quiet and calm assuring Kuri when he muttered he did wrong as part of the royal bloodline, telling Kuri he did nothing wrong just because he was royal, assuring him it was not his duty to feel love and attraction to someone he wasn't romantically attracted to and doing that with justifying it with royal duty was not right either causing Kuri to mutter he wished there was some way as a royal to make Sodain not so mad or furrious.

Sodain just lay in his room staring at the video monitors of everyone looking down then sighed. "I'm wrong for feeling the way I do, I am wrong for being the way I am. And I took it out on people taking it the wrong way when they say they are married and not interested, I must have taken it all the wrong way. I had no intent of it sounding like I was asking those men of the expedition team to bred me, But it must have came out like I was trying to some how. I lost my temper wrongly yes I can get teasingly playful at times when I am in this form. As if I might be trying to hit on people. But when in my mind I am doing anything but trying to make them feel that way, and I get told "I'm married and will not cheat on my wife."
It strikes me wrong because that wasn't the message I planned to send. my mind is trying to communicate one thing, when obviously my body goes against my own mind and makes people think I am trying to hit on them. I am a total freak. And because I take it wrong when they say that I lose friends I try making. I can't help how I am. I try being friendly and somehow I must miscommunicate it to others. And because of that it breaks up my attempts to try making friends because obviously my body is telling people the opposite message my mind sets out what to say. And because of that everything gets ruined." Sodain says this through the tower com systems as an apology and has decided to lock himself away to keep from sending mixed signals.

They listened queitly and against what Itari said to Kuri he left pounding on Sodains door serious look on his face. "Sodain one of twelve guardians if this affects your ability to do your duty I will do what is needed as part of the royal family feeling it is my royal duty to ensure safety for my family and for innocentt people around." he said firmly, Itari and Lita hearing him with Sodain with the mental link.

Sodain opened the door just a crack. "Kuri, Yes I would like nothing more then to be your mate, To bear your children. But to do so as a duty is not what I want. I want it from you actually wanting it, You don't so I won't give myself to you. I will not have you lower yourself to thinking you have to do it like it's a job. It's alright if you don't feel the same way I feel about you.I just have to live with that fact. I won't let you become like my own father who my mother had to kill because he tried to kill me,
Just because he did my mother as a duty, as a job, Because when he found the one who he felt pure love for and she returned those feelings she refused to marry him because he already had a child. And thus he tried erasing the one thing that kept him from obtaining his happiness. And in defense my mother killed the one she could not live without, and once she had killed him she jumped to her death right in front of me because she could not live with herself for killing the only person she would ever love. In one day I went from being part of a family to orphan because of a duty. I will not make you lower yourself to that." Sodain said then shut the door never having let this information known to anyone but Kuri's parents before Kuri was born. Sodain told him the story of what happened and why he hated it when people did things out of it being a duty.

Kuri sighed shaking his head. "If you are unable to preform your duty as a guardian then you are failing your duty and your job. I see you as a guardian of twelve. I do not see you as a lover or anything of the sort. I cannot change that and if I were to be a lover of yours then you could no longer be a guardian or I no longer royal and that would also be a reaction to rip my sister from the royal bloodline as well then all would fall apart.
"You'll need to find another male to fall for or whatever gender you prefer I suppose. I've said I will only do this if I must out of duty for protection of my family and for any innocent lives in the area but it would only be seen as a royal duty to ensure you are able to preform your job as a guardian." He said in his serious tone in the link making sure the other two also heard him so he'd have backup if there came need of it. His face serious with no smile or anything on his lips.

Sodain sighed. "I can still perform my duties as a guardian. Just there might be times I seem more protective like a mother protecting her child, Or my body might act differently like teasing gestures especially when in one of my two dragon forms Kuri, But it's just involuntary action. But if only my mother was still alive. Then I would not be burdened as a guardian. And perhaps then things that can never be just might be possible. But no one will know because that outcome does not exist. And will never exist. I will find another, but that has not happened yet. Because I can not afford the time to look because of my own duty." Sodain said, Knowing Kuri knew well or hoped Kuri knew that he meant his duty as a guardian does not allow a lot of free time.
"I just feel it might be wise to keep myself out of view until my cycle is over, To protect the humans from any more misunderstandings between me and our human and not so human friends as they explore this tower. But if I am needed to be among them before my cycle ends to protect them as well as you, and your family. I will and I will care not how it might be forbidden to be among humans in a form like this, My duty means that I at times must need to break the forbiddance of such exposure." Sodain added this with a cold serious look that would freeze even ice more then it was previously frozen.

He nodded stiffly listening. "What of all that time my sister slept and I was not in your sights? You had time then. And after this I will let you have time off for a few days to look around and see if you can find a mate. You are a guardian yes but you show to me and sound like to my ears you need more than just duty so you are granted two weeks to locate a mate each month if you find this just. I do and am unsure of your thinkings on my allowing of this."
He said his tone unchanging in its flat strict tone and his face showing no emotion, just being serious and firm.

Sodain nodded. "I find it just, as long as there is no danger towards you, your sister or other innocents at the time. As for before the finding of Rosatil, or being before you I was constantly searching for Rosatil." Sodain lowered his head. "I lost her tracking signal when her pod dropped while fighting to give time for it to escape from battle somehow the signal only was felt as well as mental communications became limited to about 5 feet away from her stasis crystal. And the lack of her freeing upon landing safely made it very hard to find her. I will accept any punishment for losing track of her in the first place. Because as a guardian it is my duty to keep track of all the escape pods, Which I failed at." Sodain said softly awaiting hearing the punishment for losing track of Rosatil for so long.
Niados changed slightly to more a form of a young man since his cuff broke off at Roberta's touch it seemed to about 20 years old in his caring to calm Roberta though he still had reptilian features here and there on him. Watching her sleeping next to him. he did have dragon like horns though poking out his forehead.

Kuri nodded softly. "I am glad you found her. I shall think if you will be punisghed for loseing her the fiorst time or not." he said firm;lly starting ti move from the door.
Arosa looked at the innkeeper coming back down after she had changed clothing. "so how long have you cared for Roberta? and any clue to who her mother or father is?" she asked.

Sodain nodded a bit. Closing the door for now. He went and lay down for a bit. Watching the monitors and spending time with Olira who was shaking from the storm seemed Olira didn't like storms still so Sodain did what he could to calm her down.
The inn keeper shook his head, "No there was nothing, but it seemed they was wealthy to an extent. the necklace was made of a very rare inlay of gemstones. And I took car of Roberta for about 18 years will be 19 years in 3 days." He said.
