"Greetings Miss- I'm afraid I haven't heard the rest of your name. I am Anton, the butler. My wife Maria is in the kitchen with a bowl of soup if you're hungry."

She shuddered slightly and got out the other side from where he opened the door. "I need nothing," she informed him icily.

"I'll be fine Anton. Romulus will show you to your room. I have a few more errands to run before I can retire for the evening. Please let anyone know if you need anything."
The wolf urged her closer to the house. You are sure you are not hungry? We keep odd hours here, and I wouldn't want you to starve before the next rising.

*I'm always hungry lately, but I don't trust these males...especially since you said you sleep all day. I'll be alone, with just one knife. No way am I trusting the food under those circumstances. hungry is alert to boot.*

Then we should go to the kitchen and get you something to eat. I am sure you will find Maria agreeable. She is an excellent cook, or so I am told. And she will be here should you decide to wander the house while I am incapacitated.
The real Eric went hunting. He was not planning on sleeping for a week and needed all the nourishment he could get.

She hesitated then nodded finally. *alright. The kitchen then.* A woman there, not a man, from what he said, and more a kitchen... has knives. they might not be daggers, but she could make due for now.

Then you will have no need for the knife. Either way, what's done is done. The kitchen is through that door. He nosed the door open and waited for her to enter.
Maria was humming lightly, bustling over a pot on the stove. A bowl and a spoon sat on the island, along with a tall glass that was empty.
