On an unrelated note, I go to Gaia VJ and look at the top ten videos and what do I see at #1? Hardcore porn. No, not something misnamed "Hardcore porn" to get views, but actual hardcore porn. Well... that's reported... i can make u one to play with if u like n_~ and hardcore porn?!.....that is just plain disgusting..... If you made a doppelganger of me, I'd be inclined to fight to the death with it... ... And the porn has now (finally) been deleted.

It's actually not all that hard to defeat a doppelganger, even if it mirrors your moves instantaneously, is a perfect mirror (I move right, it moves to my right. I raise my left hand, it raises it's right. The actions occur on the same side in the same direction, as opposed to being the opposite of each other), and equips whatever you equip. The key is to use unique environmental features against it. Although it can copy you, if you go stand behind a lone tree and shoot him in the face, he's going to try and shoot you too, but the bullet will just hit the tree, while your bullet will go unimpeded right into it's skull.

that thought took all of 2 minutes. What took longer was deciding whether or not to post it, and how to describe in writing a mirror doppelganger's actions versus an opposite doppelganger...
The scenario reminds me of that one riddle...
"There are two paths guarded by two guards.
One path leads to certain death, the other to the way out.
One guard always lies, the other always tells the truth.
How do you pick which path to take?"
... I figured that one out in probably a minute.
