Camwen Lilygwen gaia_nitemareleft So why is it, that when I bbq:in just for me and my hubby, everything goes smoothly and the food is delicious but when I have quests it's like all odds are off and most likely the stuff gets too dry. neutral gaia_angelright Ha! I'm not sure which law that one falls under - just know you are not the only one this happens to! wink gaia_nitemareleft I bet those darn gnomes that keep on stealing the another pair of the sock from the washer have something to do with that. ninja Oh! And speaking of sock stealing gnomes, I just found one the greatest invention in home chores of all time from the shop few days back. It's sort of a tiny clip that you can attach your socks together with. That way when you put them into the washing machine, they don't get separated and eventually lost! emotion_awesome It's a tiny thing, but saves a lot of time trying to find the correct pairs for the socks! gaia_angelright

I hope. smile But I can understand that with mountains of socks, it could be bit of a chore to do all of them. biggrin I do have to say that it does make it faster to put them up for drying. I don't user dryer so these are pretty handy in our household. I got few mesh bags and they work nicely with the bra's and stuff. Haven't never tried it with the socks though. That's an good idea. Hey there! It's rainy in here again. biggrin I've been doing mostly home chores lately. I'm on summer holiday so I have lots of free time on my hands at the moment. smile gaia_angelright

So, I too have joined the Recolor.me site [same name as on here] and it's actually not bad! I always saw it on the tektek site, and wasn't sure what it was.
Do you really think they might shut down Gaia by the end of the year? I've noticed that they're doing a TON of Limited Item/Flash Sales. Every five seconds, 10 new announcements are popping up.
Also, I don't think they are related: but I've also been on SoliaOnline.com for a while, and it's way more laid back than Gaia. There are games and stuff you can play to earn gold, and even farm and such.
If anyone wants more information [since you have to have an account to really look at anything] I'd be more than happy to assist in that direction. If the boss-folk are interested, I can also post screenshots [in spoilers to keep things pretty] so you can see what everything looks like.

I even stopped by and said hello. it's certainly a nifty little site, but it'll take some getting used to, for sure. I do understand the frustration with the cash stuff. I will admit that I was perpetuating the problem by being a part of it but now, things are really getting horrible. I went and checked out their new 'adult' site and it's...tacky? There is certainly the ick factor there. I think that's why I'll stick to Recolor, Solia, and Gaia until something unfortunate happens.

I think it's pretty deceitful to use Gaia to pump money into this new site. I feel like that we all have now a price tag on our foreheads and I'm worried that they will start to clear out those who are not as "productive" as the rest.
