[ Prompt Response ] Instead of hanging his head in shame, Alec stood tall, raising his chin proudly as he inhaled, and gave a rush of exhaled breath as he took off. The distinctive sound the gear made, and the sound of his wires striking home. He envisioned himself striking into the cutout, giving it all he could muster. [ Prompt Response ] Finding his rhythm, knowing better now what worked and didn't Alec lined himself up, using the motion to increase his swing, One. His muscles tensed, digging deeply, slicing it open wide. Two! His heart beat rushed giving a shout of triumph as he timed the reaction well delivering a follow up punishing blow. The red head pulled himself away to safety, taking the time to practice more dodging and weaving past trees. His face was flushed, understandably pleased with himself.Eyeing his gas levels, he soon brought himself back down to ground level to refuel his gear. With that done he slunk away to go nurse his bruises from accidentally clipping into at least a few low branches. At least his last pass was over, his training had paid off. Mykanos gazed up upon the giants for trees, and further into the depths of them where the cutouts lay in waiting. As his fellow trainee members started zipping off, the gas hissing in their wake, he joined in as well. Tearing out his blades, he shot off his cords to pull himself closer and closer to a target he'd locked his sights on, keeping focused on that tender, vulnerable nape.

He'd managed to get a good slice through it with one blade, but the other had lacked immensely, thus not finishing the job. That was no good. Circling around, he re-positioned his hands again to give it another go.

There! He'd gotten a clear slice through the strong, thick cushion. He'd felt it sink deep enough to graze along the edge of the cutout within, scraping along the wood. Pushing off of a tree he'd perched on, he zipped off to find another target, spotting one straight away as he dodged a few of his comrades to go in for the kill.

Like his first time, he'd had a solid hit with one blade, but his second was lacking. He'd need to improve on his dual wielding skills if he was going to have more success with his hits.

He'd done a little better this go around, but that second arm of his. It wasn't his dominant one which was probably why he was having such a difficult time..

That one was no good... he'd miscalculated his positioning, and only barely made a cut through the tough surface. This wasn't acceptable. But Mykanos was no where near losing moral, if anything he was further instigated for his next attempt to be better.

Success! Finally another strong, passable carving was committed. A few colleagues flew by beside him, heading off for their next kill, and he followed to take suit.

It felt good. Mykanos was getting the hang of this, and a groove of sorts with his turn outs. Consistent tears were landing, and he was able to feel just how that felt in his hands; the metal trembling slightly as it dove through the soft insides... He knew that feeling very well.

Perhaps he got a little too comfortable, for his next go at the following titan cut out was a flop. But he came around quickly to finish the job without even a beat of hesitation.

So close... but so far. The cushion was all torn up by now, the stuffing puckering out by now, from the various cuts. If he could just get one perfect incision along the middle..

And there it was! With one last go, he hacked through the middle of the remaining cushion to pull out a nice chunk from the center... though it was a bit nicked here and there from the previous failed slices. On to the next one!
