It worked the first time. Then after I pulled it up in IE, it went all screwy and stopped working. They were apostrophies and quotes. I messed around with it a little, and it only works sometimes. It's better than never, at least.

Odd, it was working 100% last night.
Either way, I've got more important things to do, like figure out how many sticks of tnt I can fit into these ******** printers.

Oh God. Perfect time for pms to be down. Three files on Twi's computer have vanished into thin air, and one of them was the Lust story! ><
domokun < He did it.
Inhale, exhale, inhale... *is taking Kraeela's advice* exhale.
That's okay. It's cool. Smooth. We'll get it done. I'll try to whip something up. Except that I'm sick and Dad's really hoping I'll go to sleep early tonight after drugging myself with alka celtzer (however you spell it). That's okay though. I'm pretty okay at writing. And fast. Yeah, I can do it. Homework? Hah, what homework.
*now determined* Yes, I can do it! And besides, I work best under pressure. Aiming for before 11:59pm. That's the goal. Keep my eyes on the ball.

Ah, that is the sucks.
I'd love to go beat the s**t out of it with a baseball bat, but right now my baseball bat is making friends with my printers.

If anyone actually reads this in time, I've retired for the night. If you'd be so kind as too look after my topic, thanks. If not, oh well.

If not, oh well. =whoosh= Ack, sorry! crying Didn't mean to leave you hanging there! A high school buddy's in town, and we went out to celebrate her birthday! I tried to get back as quickly as possible, but I guess I just missed you. I'm sorry to hear about Twilight's e-mail crisis -- you have no idea how sorry, lol -- but we'll manage somehow...

Jahoclave I'd love to go beat the s**t out of it with a baseball bat, but right now my baseball bat is making friends with my printers. Remidns me of a wierd sci-fi novel I read a long time agow here mechanical objects are built with AI, and all the refrigerators in this city team up to help the protagonist because the antagonist, the owner of the boss fridge, treated his wrong; and the protagonist, brekaign in to the bad guy's house looking for evidence, treated the fridge with respect. xd Ser, mwhehee......pressure..... Alice, My proposal for future editions: All articles, columns etc need to be in a maximum of one week before publishing date, so we have one week to proof-read, reassign assignments etc.

I completely agree, lol. After all the drama with this issue, I think we're learning as we go! Hehe. Good news! THE SECOND ISSUE OF THE GAIAN PRESS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED! Visit the Writer's Forum and give it a friendly bump if needed. wink

Serieve ...hey. From where I'm sitting, the date and time of your post were March 23, 1:08am. eek How late did you stay up? Don't worry, hehe. It was late, but not that late! I think I posted around 11:00ish pm (US Mountain Time). Anyway, here's a BIG THANK YOU to all the staffies who stuck by all the drama. I'm typing up a new schedule for the next issue right now. Hopefully, it'll make things easier on our poor souls. xp

April 2005 Issue - Schedule of Events
Please look over each item and voice your concerns and suggestions! If I've forgotten something, then remind me. If we should change something, then tell me. Let's try to make our next publication a less stressful experience! Hehehe.
ITEM 1. Publication Date: April 30, 2005 I pushed back the date to give us more time, but mostly because Gaia seems to disable the PM system on the 22nd! It happened in February, and it happened again this month. I don't want to go through that again! From now on, we'll publish on the last day of each month!
ITEM 2. Submissions Deadline: April 23, 2005 This gives us a full week to edit and find replacements for missing authors. I think we should start another writing project ASAP, but we shouldn't aim to publish in the April issue. That would be too much! I think we should alternate between Beyond the Box and Writer's Aide from month to month.
ITEM 3. Staffie Recruitment Many of our early staffies seem to have dropped out altogether. We may want to round up a new cast of seasoned writers! If you know someone who is a consistent and talented writer, then please refer 'em to the application page! Hehe.
ITEM 4. New Staff Position: Public Relations I want to gradually gain a larger following among the writing community. This means we shouldn't alienate the rookie writers even though they may not have good material to publish at this time. I'm hoping that an active thread poster can go around and get to know some new writers with potential, and advertise the 'zine at the same time. We can probably post in the Guild Forum as well. It's really not my first priority, but it would be nice to have one of us wander beyond HQ every now and then. Hehe.
ITEM 5. Odds and Ends Due to popular demand, I'll definitely change the Scavenger Hunt links to black for the next issue! I thought I fixed it already for this issue, but I messed up the coding. sweatdrop Sorry!

Press relations with the rookies... Why do I think that if this where an office building that their department should be located as far from me as physically possible.
Also, I'm wondering if gaia reads css, if it did we could even keep the links from being underlined and really make it a challnge. Of course techinically literate people like me would just check the little known option to turn of stylesheet functions, are just view source. But it makes it harder.
And it's nice to know that pm's won't be working on the 30th of next month per Murphy's laws.
And here's a good one for the next project. With so many people being politically active. Politically driven writing. Fictiontional writing designed to make a point about today's political scene. Sort of like 1984 and the like. (That and the current story I'm working on would fit in this category.)

Jahoclave Press relations with the rookies... Why do I think that if this where an office building that their department should be located as far from me as physically possible. Haha, no worries. I shall protect y'all from da noobs, lol. We're not gonna reach out to people who "RiTe lIeK DIS," so fear not! The quality-control filters will still be up, but maybe we can offer 'em some C&C so the rookies can actually work to improve themselves. Jahoclave Also, I'm wondering if gaia reads css, if it did we could even keep the links from being underlined and really make it a challnge. Of course techinically literate people like me would just check the little known option to turn of stylesheet functions, are just view source. But it makes it harder. Hum. Did you hear that whooshing sound as everything went over my head? Hehe, you may want to talk to Kraeela about this. I'm all for it as long as you tech monkeys fix the codes for me, hehe! I'm hopeless when it comes to these things, lol. Jahoclave And it's nice to know that pm's won't be working on the 30th of next month per Murphy's laws. Seriously. Now that you mention it... I'm so prepared for that to happen! Jahoclave And here's a good one for the next project. With so many people being politically active. Politically driven writing. Fictiontional writing designed to make a point about today's political scene. Sort of like 1984 and the like. (That and the current story I'm working on would fit in this category.) Hum, I like it! It'll definitely be very challenging, but we can take our time... I'll get to reading that story you sent right now!
