Now for the battle music!With Willow's attack, I dash towards the swordsmen as fast as I can, giving out a zealous war cry, in hopes to confuse them as to who they should be attcking. Two swordsmen versus a brawler is bad news for the brawler. Two swordsmen versus a cleric and a brawler can be a lot better, provided we could work together... however, that didnt seem to be a problem, since Willow obviously knew a thing or two about tactics. Despite the numbers now, however, I had a feeling we shouldn't stick around this battle site for much longer then we have to, regardless if we take down both enemies or not. They outnumber us, so we'll need to avoid letting them surround us. Even in that case... Sun Tzu did say that the cornered warrior was the deadliest one... As long as we can avoid damage and pick one off at a time... we can win... might be a lengthy process, but we can do this, I know we can!

I wanted to say a bit more to Nyx but figure I should leave her and Irene alone. So instead, I go to join up with Mazurn again and notice the anthro Raven he is talking to. "Hello." I say in a confused manner. "Where did you come from?"

Irene shakes her head.
"There's nothing important here..." she mutters.
Hiroto:
Your attack is caught by the guy's blade. He is chanting:
"Hei hai mi nai ha...hei hai mi nai ha...HEI HAI MI NAI HA!"
Suddenly, your Fist of Justice is shattered and you are sent flying back.
Leina:
The soldier that is not dazed or occupied by the shield kid rushes toward you, preparing to stab you in the gut.
Willow:
In order to avoid confusion, please give more definitive information. This was my misunderstanding, but is too late to fix.
Your kick impacts one swordsman; the other is out of your reach for this attack. The one you hit falls back onto the stairs.
Layla:
The swordsman that Willow failed to hit lunges at you with his blade, clearly going for a stab.

I prepare to parry with my left blade and to do a riposte (A fecning counter attack) with my right. "Willow! Fall back and regroup! Don't get surrounded!" I shout. I wasn't quite sure where all of this knowledge of swordpaly came from, since I never really took anything in the way of classes for any kind of combat style, but these moves seemed to flow to me from some other, outside force. It felt almost trancelike, as if I was no longer consciously controlly my actions; running solely on instinct...

Landing on top of the downed man, Willow went for his head, attempting to break his neck.

I smile at the faceless mage with more excitement and slightly more relief in seeing more people.
"I'm so glad to see you two...alive! You make my heart leap for joy, you two...because..."
I bow my head somewhat fearfully and grimly say,
"I was flying from that corrupted, disgusting bunch...the Red Army." I shiver slightly and look at the two men.
"How is it that you two are still alive?"

As I notice the soldier rushing at me, I jump to the side and drop into a position similar to a push up, but a bit more crouched. I then swing my legs around, attempting to kick and trip the soldier as he rushes up towards me.

Hiroto grunted as he went flying backwards and he skidded along the ground. He quickly recovered however and he stared at the man who broke his spell and sighed once more. He recreated his shield on his left arm and got close to her. His orange, glowing, magical shield poised to protect her.

"They...are everywhere..." I say with a look of horror and almost grab the two men by their collars, but hesitate as I don't quite know them. Instead, I hold my outstretched talons pointed toward me over my head in distress and I cry,
"We must get all the survivors out of here! I don't want to see the breath of life escape from your lips, too!" I look at the strangers...actually look at them, and draw my talons under my chin in balled fists in timidity.
"That is...if...you'll let me be with you..." I say in a low, almost shy voice.

The riposte connects. The blade sinks into his flesh, giving off an angry hiss! as the energy connects with his warm blood.
Willow:
You have no problem breaking his neck because of his positioning on the stairs. Blood slowly trickles out of his mouth.
Leina:
The soldier goes down, dazed from hitting his head on the descent.
"Ugh...b***h..." he mutters.
This is only the second time you recall them directly talking about you.
Hiroto:
The man in question charges at you, sword raised high.
Nyx:
Irene nods.
"Okay," she says.

I quickly run upstairs and grab the bags and hammer. I then decide to see if I can find anything to loot on the man's body.

I pull out the blade, bringing it to a defencive position while attempting a stab with the other. It seems contrary to the first real flashback I got, while this girl didn't seem to like brutaility in her fighting, she's a got streak of warrior going through her when something threatens the lives of thing's she cares about. While I wanted to shout something to Willow, I didn't want to point her out to the swordsman, so I let out another battle cry with my second attack.
