The cold night blew across his face. Dawn was about to rise. Lucien, with consent from his mother, and his younger sister sat by the docks to watch the boats come and go. Tamara always had a fascination with boats and the sea, so much so she should've been born as a water elemental. She didn't care. Neither did Lucien. He was so busy being on his guard for his sister he didn't pay much attention to the scenery.

Warakai followed Leith back to shore not standing instead allowing the waves to push him onto the sand where he laid for a moment thinking about his boat. After a moment he stood up a little out of breath "alright lets go then" he sighed.

Mike swallowed as the ship sank into the black ocean. It was eerie, but it was over as soon as it started. Grabbing his pack, he then rubbed his eyes. Mike was dead tired, and dawn was already coming. Following, he groggily tromped through the sand. Mike looked at the harbor. Thick smoke was still billowing from the wreckage, and could almost be seen against the sky. He heard sirens.
He hoped the sirens wouldnt get any louder.

Leith looked at the two downtrodden boys and smiled, "Hey, look at it this way--You can probably stay where my aunt and I are staying. She'll understand. So you guys can get some sleep and a good meal. Then you can head out first thing in the--" she looked at the horizon and smiled more, "First thing in the afternoon."

Lucien looked to the left of him towards the beach and saw three people. He grinned knowing who they were and waved.
His sister looked around and saw them as well. "Nii-chan, who are they?"
"Acquaintances.", he said smiling.

Leith caught movement out of the corner of her eye and adverted her attention to it in fear that the authorities were coming. She squinted and saw whom she thought was Lucien, but couldn't be sure because of the other person with him, but she smiled and waved anyway.

Lucien stood up and decided to walk towards them, sliding off of the pier. Tamara followed suit and kept close to her dear brother.

Jessie kept her head down as she walked, not wanting to be seen. She followed the same path everyday, so she didn't even need to look where she was going. But all of a sudden, she came to a stop. There was something strange in the air, she sensed. But what? Lifting her head, she inhaled the thick air. A faint smell of smoke could be detected. This intrigued Jessie. She immediately started to seach for the source of the pollutant, but it didn't take long - there was a pillar of smoke rising from the harbor. Smiling, Jessie followed the scent. She was going to take a new path today.

Leith looked at the two boys again and smiled encouragingly, "Come on, we'll meet him halfway and talk while we head into the city." She started to walk towards Lucien and the little stranger.

Lucien walked alongside them towards wherever they were going, with his little sister behind him. Tamara walked behind her brother not exactly trusting the new people. "Nice to see you all again."

"You weren't gone very long. Too bad you didn't show up earlier, though, you just missed Kai and me sinking the boat." Leith laughed as she remembered to ring some more water from her hair.

Warakai smiled at a casual acquaintance known as Lucien and the girl who now accompanied him, a sibling maybe he wasn't quite sure if it even mattered.
Demi rested against a building fatigued from the long trip in from the mountains adjusting the shoulder strap for her AK which was digging into her shoulder. The pillar of smoke from the harbor was still dominating the skyline the idea of an imperial ship being destroyed put a smile on her lips. Demi let out a sigh as she prepared to continue on toward the harbor with the intention of getting the hell off the continent.

"Sank...the boat?" Lucien asked with a hint of surprise.
Then his younger sister tugged on his sleeve. "Nii-chan...who are they?"
"Oh thats right.", chuckled Lucien. "Allow me to introduce you to my younger sister, Tamara. Tam, these are my friends: Leith, Warakai, and MIke."
Tamara smiled. "Its nice to know you finally got some friends. Mom's gonna be so happy."

"Hi Tamara, it's wonderful to meet you!" Leith grinned and then looked to Lucien, "Yeah, so that we wouldn't have to worry about the big guys finding it or anything. Warakai and I did a pretty good job--I'm proud of him for handling it so well. It's hard for our people to give up something like a boat--it's very important to our livestyles."

Mike moaned and followed Leith to who looked like Lucien and someone else. Through his puffy eyes, he saw the someone else was a little girl. He smiled at them as a greeting, but looking down at the little girl, he couldnt help but smile broader.
She was so cute!
Mike laughed at her comment about Lucien having friends.
"This must be a first for you, huh?" Mike chuckled. He sniffed, moaning slightly while Leith and Lucien talked. He hated being tired, and he had been up for almost twenty four hours. So, waiting for everyone to start walking, Mike just gazed up at the sky, up and down the beach, occasionally at Leith's hair, then butt, and then back at Lucien.
