Elrothiel took one more look around. "We should move." she said quietly. "I don't like the fact that we've been seen but no enemies have appeared yet. It's unnatural, especially as we didn't kill that uruk-hai. Where are you planning to go now?" she asked both of them.

Gordo patted his chin, mulling over the troubling sentiments of the last few moments. He had come down the mountain for answers and these were the first he'd recieved, puzzling though the were. He decided that the man and the elf probably had no part in the sacking of Moria's gate and he lowered his guard that had been so stubbornly rigid since his brigade were ambushed at the base of the mountain. And so, his natural lustre of leadership finally began to show itself again. "We ain't too far from the Golden Hall, you know, and with our stack of allies tumbling down all 'round us I'm for wantin' to know where the old horse king stands in all of this mess."

"King Theoden?" Elrothiel considered. "Well so far I haven't seen his forces resisting the passage of the orcs but I don't believe the rumours that they pay tribute to Mordor. The men of Rohan love their horses like their children and all beasts are used cruelly by the servants of Sauron. A visit to the Golden Hall might give us some news. I will go with you. What is your name ranger? Will you travel with us?"

"I agree." Elrothiel replied, also in Elvish, "the orcs fear the Ents and the Huorns. They will not enter Fangorn willingly." She followed him in closer under the shadow of the trees. She touched the bark of the nearest elm and it was warm to her touch. "There is truly life in Fangorn." She scanned the horizon again before adding in the common tongue, "There is no sign of any pursuit as yet."

Gordo hefted his urgosh onto his massive shoulder-spike as he marched, just as he had done during the arduous eight-year trek over Caradhras. He ground his teeth as the pair spoke an elven language he didn't understand. He hid his wariness well behind the stoic stature of the only dwarven general to successfuly turn around a retreating brigade, lead them headlong into a frenzied army of giants and live to tell the tale. He was getting to Rohan. Trap or no trap.

We were just discussing the best way to avoid orcs and believe it would be better to move in under the trees. What do you think?"

He twisted his neck in almost every direction, keeping a watchful eye out for any signs of the enemy. "It's been a few hunnerd years sinse I last walked these parts. Are you for knowin' how much time lies between us and the Golden Hall?"

"I do know a bit about them. We should stay out of sight of the out side, but still able to see out." he said. He looked at the two. " Shall we run or walk?"

Isil wiped the fresh blood off her sword and resheathed it. She kicked the dead orc body off to the side and pulled her hood back over her head. "He was probably a scout." She smirked and mounted her black horse who she called Nhazil. She continued along the path towards Rohan. She was a ranger, but prefered to be called a loner. She didn't get payed much if at all at points, but the freedom was an advantage.
