I know you aren't familiar with this, but I DO have a girlfriend Rei. And I'm QUITE familiar on male/female relations. She'll tell you I'm very affectionate, and teasing too. I know how to get along just fine with most women.
So I don't see how watching anime has anything to do with it. I was brought up differently than you were I assume, so our views on women and how to treat them are probably the cause of this little issue.

Well.. here's the thing Ryugi. And .. when I say this.. know that I don't mean.. across the board. Because there will always be an exception to every rule.
However, in most cases.. women want alpha males. Now I don't mean assholes. I just mean guys who aren't afraid to cut loose and be comfortable no matter where they are. Because then they seem like they are in control.
The leader of the pack thing. Most women don't want followers. They want leaders.
Even I didn't get it at first. I was initially confused about why any woman in their right mind would see anything of value in Kasuga. Cause I thought he was an a*****e. Which I'm sure he.. or someone else has thought about me.
But it's because we have that hunter instinct. That dominating air. This attracts women to us. We can turn it on and off all we like but you'd never know the difference.. we'd never show you the difference. Cause we're leaders of the pack.
This is what women want.
Not guys who blhablahblahabah and slobbar and drool all over them all day and.. basically shove their faces up their asses by going across the world for them.
Because then you're just a sucker.
If you aren't a challenge.. if you don't split apart from her in some ways.. then you aren't worth her time.. and that itself goes both ways.
Understand this.
