pciked up meh eldar codex! scream
i made a simple, 500 point starting army list. tell me watcha think?
HQ
Farseer with starting equipment
Guide
Doom
Total: 90pts
Troops
10 Dire Avengers
Exarch w. P. Weapon & Shimmershield
Bladestorm
Total: 162pts
12 Guardian Defenders
Starcannon
Total: 121pts
Heavy Support
Wraithlord

Totalpts All: 513
i think it's pretty versatile, while it excels at horde armies of same point value. all those shuriken catapults can put a real dent in the hive mind's finest! the farseer can guide the avengers in the shooting phase on a doomed unit, while the guardians can provide support and claim table quarters. the wraithlord is a pretty effective anti tank unit, while against small units, it can wreck havock. the starcannon can knock out light vehicles, and can pick off space marines (there aren't bound to be many in a 500pt game).
so, ideas?

I don't like it either, but he did have good pictures... which I copied. He is also useing shots from that new game which looks errily close to 40k in some acpects. confused

I dont like the RP...Mixing WH40k, with some other game... just lost all votes for it being good from me...

Haven't been on in forever, so it seems. Just wanted to say hey.
Hm. Well. Played against some orks the other day. That was nifty. Pretty simple army list.
Each of us had a Troop unit of 11 men. He was using a fast group of 6 and I used a heavy group of 6. Went well. It was orks vs. marines so, of course, I won. Didn't really bother or care about the point value. But ah well...It was quite enjoyable. In the end. All of his men were gone. And I had lost 4 men from my heavy support unit. Quite a fun game. Lol. Then. After I defeated all of his orks. He brought in a chaos Dreadnought and an obliterator. He set them right in the fray of my men and I was able to kill both of them with only losing a few troops. Then. He set down a few troops that I was also able to defeat with few casualties. Then. He set down a Land Raider. Heh. Well...I, having nothing to breech its armour, lost to that. lol. Quite a fun, random game.
Thought I'd all let you know. You're all still on my mind. And there is no way on earth that I would quite this amazing hobby.
If you've seen the new Great Unclean One. Haha. Rocks, doesn't it? Mmm. Disgusting. I wish you all well.

Okay, well I'm not sure I like the Wii. I got my 360 and love it, but what ever floats your boat. The wii will be a good all around system, unlike the 360 and PS3 who are going for max in this area and that.

Dryfolius Ok, see im on at school, but first off, Wtf is Wii? I have been hearing about it alot lately, and i just can't seem to figure it out. Last time i played a 40k game... a month ago.... its saddening... the Wii is the new nintendo system, GW and nintendo should hook up and make a game, like an inquisitor game or something, or a call of duty style game focused around either marines IG or tau
