Layla:
Lud pounds a fist to his chest in salute.
"I shall not fail you, O Winged One," he says valiantly.
Tasson nods twice, once for the cleric and once for himself.
"We shall be honored to fight by your side," he says humbly.
Lyriana smiles proudly.
"Consider the enemy slaughtered," she says regally.
As you start your speech to Xiao, she rolls her eyes and looks like she's going to threaten you with a dagger. However, when you change your tone, she perks up.
"Why, yes, Layla," she says excitedly. "I will join you! It shall be a fight to remember, no?"

Nyx:
"Aye," Lud says. "A well-rounded par'y, too. Always a goo' thing."

Everyone:
Tasson uses a teleporter orb to go to the guild hall. A moment later, he returns with the cleric who healed Apollo earlier.
"We are ready whenever you are," Tasson says.
The cleric steps forward.
"My name is Mella," she says calmly. "I shall not let you fall to injury."
Everyone should post once to say they're approaching the castle. Then we can begin this event.

"Are you ready?" Willow asked Lyirana, walking gracefully behind Layla, a blank look on her face. Her hair billowed out behind her as she walked, her skirt folloing suite, the movement was almost liquid-like.

I turn and walk towards the castle.

Layla:
"You never know..." Xiao says teasingly as she walks alongside you.

Willow:
"Very much so," Lyriana replies.
She walks alongside you and takes your hand in her paw as you approach the castle.

Apollo:
Mella stays on the other side of Tasson from you, so you don't have to interact with her yet.



Everyone:
You all get signed in by your guild name, Spiritus Divini. You are all ushered into a giant arena where the castle's courtyard and the front half of its main hall would normally be. An announcer stands on the wall around the arena and uses magic to project his voice.
"Welcome everyone, natives and outsiders alike, to the five-thirty Challenge bout!" he calls out to the roaring crowd. "This bout will pit newcomers Spiritus Divini against the reigning champions!"
As you enter the arena, he calls out your names with a title added on.
"In this guild, we have..." he says, pausing to get the crowd excited. "Willow Reaper, Daughter of Lord Ghuran; Layla, Descendant of Lady Solona; Apollo, Master of Absolute Annihilation; Nyx, Assassin of the Mists; Sand-Claw, Arbalesteir of the Guard; Xiao, Assassin of the Moonlight; Lyriana, Swordswoman of the Forest; Lud, Hammer of the Mines; Tasson, Alpha of the Teziba; and Mella, Cleric of the Teziba!"
The crows roars for you all. The announcer then turns his attention to the still-absent opponents.
"And now, the reigning champions: the guild known as FLIGHT OF SEVEN THOUSAND!"
Suddenly, you all see several figures descending quickly from the sky. They all crash down to the ground, standing up slowly through the dust. The crowd is going wild. Finally, you see what they are: anthro dragons. Two have swords, two have axes, two have hammers, two have bows, and two are unarmed. The unarmed ones are healers, like Layla and Mella. They all roar threateningly.
"Opponents, shake hands!" the announcer says.
The dragons calmly approach you all. After you all shake hands and exchange pleasantries and threats, you all get back to your side of the arena.
"FIGHT!" the announcer screams.

I load my crossbow, and fire a one of the healers. "You can't be an adventurer if you bolt in your knee!"

"Let's just make this quick boys" Willow said, her scythe gleaming in the sun as she readied it at her side, Gathering the water from as many of the groups water containers as she could to form a buckler on her left arm.
