4:18 PM Apollo:Nothing particularly catches your eye. Nyx:"Aye, seven silver," the smith replies. Willow:Lyriana smiles and puts the sword back. The merchant thinks for a moment. "Yes, I believe I do," he says. "Try this wall over here." He indicates the wall opposite the one Lyriana is looking over. Layla:"Oh, goodie!" the merchant says. Unlike the merchant you sold jewelry to in Nayk (a minimally-dressed anthro wolf), this merchant is well-dressed and a dwarf standing on a pedestal behind the counter. "What kind of trinkets do you have to offer?" he asks excitedly.

As nothing else interests me, I decide to leave the store completely and search around for the rest of the group.

I offer up the rings, necklaces from the Reds, a talisman, a small dagger, and the general's sword up for sale. "I'd like to sell these." I say in a polite voice.

4:19 PM Apollo:You find Nyx talking to a weapon smith, and Sand-Claw talking to a weapon maker on the other side of the area. Layla:He carefully examines each item, especially the small items, and makes notes on a scrap of paper. Finally, after checking every inch of the general's sword, he looks up at you. "I can offer you four silver for the rings, four silver for the necklaces, thirty silver for the talisman, twenty copper for the dagger, and one gold for the sword," the dwarf says. "In total, one gold, thirty-eight silver, and twenty copper."

"Does it come with a sheathe, or will it cost extra? Or is there none?"

4:20 PM Nyx:"It does come with a sheath," the smith says. "Would you like to buy it?" Layla:He hands you the coins and takes the items. "Excellent," he says. "Do come back if you get anything out of the Challenge that you don't want!" Again he gives you his best business smile.

Since it seems everyone has scattered, I instead go and find a good place to sit and read where I will still be easy to find.

"I'll be sure to haul back some sweet loot then!" I say, in a playfully boastful voice before departing with my usual pleasantries. I return to the party, not thinking that i'll need anything for the trials to come.

"I was looking for an upgrade for my weapon, last fight I had kinda showed that. I like my crossbow, but it needs to be more accurate, and maybe a bit stronger." I say. "Oh Blecht told me to come to you for my weapon upgrade!"

4:22 PM Nyx:"Thank you kindly," the smith says, taking the coins. He reaches under his stand and produces the sheath. "There you are!" he says happily. You are now down to seventy-eight silver and sixty-four copper, and have added one {d6} one-handed short sword to your inventory! Apollo:You find a bench near the last shop, just before the grassy area in front of the castle. Layla:"Thank you, come again!" the dwarf calls after you. You find that the party is pretty scattered: Nyx and Sand-Claw are in a weapons marketplace, Lyriana and Willow are in a weapons shop, Lud and Talc are debating on going into the bar, Stek is in a mage shop, and Tasson is trying to buy poison from a peddler. The rest of the wolf pack seems to have already gone to the guild hall, or at least left the floating island. However, you do find Apollo sitting on a bench just past the last shop. Willow:Should you look back after brushing against her, you'll see Lyriana looking at you with a flirtatious look. Maybe she really feels something for you? The sword is a one-handed sword, of course, and has a decent handle, which allows you to keep hold on it despite the unusual manner of holding it. It'll do {d6} damage, which is a slight step down from your scythe's {d8} damage. However, it seems like a sturdy blade. Sand-Claw:"Blecht, you say?" the weapons maker says. "I'll be damned! He hasn't sent anyone my way in a few days! So, more accurate, you say? I could add a crosshairs for you. Perhaps I could build you a new one with sturdier wood, instead? Add the crosshairs to that, it'll be the best crossbow you've ever used! Or did you mean stronger as in, needs to deal more damage?"

"Well well, it has been some time" she spun and flipped it in her hands several times, the memory of countless years in training came flooding back to her, the days before she had 'Borrowed' her fathers scythe, this had been her weapon of choice, she had always found it odd herself how two such varried styles of fighting seemed to suite her. "So kind sir" Willow enquired, leaning suggestively yet elegantly against the counter, her shapely figure displayed with just enough sexual intention to get someone excited but not too much to overwhelm, it was always so much easier on women, but still. "Could I possibly enquire to the price of such an item?" her french accent had seeped a little into her words as she spoke, making them a little more sexual then she had intended, her free hand reaching into the inside pocket of her blazzer, which just so happened to be right near her left breast she never remembered how her things ended up there it was most likely a force of habbit.
