4:04 PM Layla:"Twenty-four new members?" the woman says, looking over the list. "That'll be—oh, you've already come prepared!" She takes the coins, counts them, and nods. "It looks like most of these members are wilderness people," she continues. "Might I suggest expanding the island your guild hall is on? It'll cost you twenty silver coins. An extra ten silver if you want to add a new tower to your castle for the non-wilderness people." You have one gold, fifty-four silver, and forty-two copper coins left. Willow:Lyriana comes up to you once Talc is done talking. "Her?" she says. "I remind you of someone? A former lover?" Apollo:You suddenly realize just how empty your backpack is: you have neither looted nor purchased anything since entering the game! All you have is the GUI items and your starting clothes, which you still wear. Perhaps you should consider getting some leather armor? A little extra resistance would help to avoid another situation like the fight against the assassins. But then again, those two wolves are pretty cute...Upon your mind turning to the wolves, you notice them nearby, talking to each other. You also notice them taking occasional glances in your direction and giggling.

I look down in contemplation over what to do. I really have been overly frugal so far, but due to my use of magic, I wasn't sure how badly I needed armor or weaponry, but I decide it wouldn't hurt to look, besides, the situation with those wolves made me feel a bit uncomfortable still, and I needed some time to think it over. So, I go and browse the stores on the island, looking mainly for things such as potions, perhaps tomes on healing magic, and also perhaps some kind of armor.

"I'll take ten," I say, and hand him trn silvers. "Also do you have anything I can use to upgrade my crossbow?" I ask, and show him my over sized crossbow.

"Looks like you already know what we need! I'll take both upgrades." I say, handing over the coins.

"Not quite" Willows reply sounded as if she had had to say it alot in the past, and was not happy about the topic.

4:05 PM Apollo:You find a magic supply shop next to the Mages' Guild. You find several kinds of potions: healing (ten coppers per bottle), defense (twenty-seven coppers), mana boost (one silver), and so on. A tome of basic healing magic is fifty coppers. This store does not carry armor, but you're sure to find one nearby. Sand-Claw:"Ten it is!" he says, taking the coins. He quickly bundles them for you. "And as for your crossbow...hmm..." He looks around his cart. "Well, I have some good strings, but that's about all I can do," he says. "I've never encountered such a large crossbow before. You may have to go to a weapons maker." Layla:"All right," the woman says, counting the coins. "Excellent. The crews will be sent out immediately. If your teleporter orbs refuse to take you to the guild hall, that means the crews are still working on it. But they should be done within the hour." Willow:"Oh," Lyriana says. "Sorry." She turns away and heads toward a weapons shop. As she walks away, you notice how her hips sway with each step, and how her tail swishes in the opposite direction of the leg she's moving (left leg = swish right, right leg = swish left). Her sword is held against her body by a loose belt that sits higher on her right hip than her left (though this may be cause by the weight of blade).

"Thanks for the bolts," I say, and store them in my quiver. "Can you point me to a weapons maker?"

"Okay, thanks!" I say politely, giving a quick curtsy before leaving to find the mage's guild to get these two items identified.

I check how much money I have available while I contemplate what would help me the most, and I also browse through the other tomes they have available.

4:06 PM Sand-Claw:"Actually, yes," the merchant says. "Down this street, fifth storefront on your left. Tell him that Blecht sent you." Layla:When you arrive in the Mages' Guild, you find it bustling with players and NPCs. Most of the players are discussing the strange behavior of the game (not letting people respawn, allowing others to loot player corpses, not allowing them to log out, etc.). You easily notice a wizard who appears to be in his thirties looking at some small items similar to yours. However, as you get closer, it becomes obvious that this wizard is an elf, and therefore is likely to be quite a bit older than what he appears. Apollo:You have eighty-five silver and sixty-one copper coins. The other tomes available range from elements to necromancy, and even include some rather dangerous and vile magics such as vivimancy (for a significantly higher price, likely due to the Mages' Guild's restrictions on such arts).

I approach the wizard. "Excuse me, could you identify these for me?" I ask him politely, giving my usual curtsy to strangers I meet.

Waiting untill Lyriana was out of sight Willow sighed deeply to herself [i['Well I suppose this is one of those times these people expect an appology' rolling her eyes and brushing back the hair from her face she heads after Lyirana.
The door was already half broken, pieces of it lay scattered in front of them. It had taken them too long, far too long, to realise this was a distraction, only when they smelt the smoke did they notice they were too late to do anything. As the great oak doors finally gave way and crashed down upon the small crew of gaurdians, a scream left their lips, a plea for help, a prayer that their Mistress would forgive them. "Tick Tock, Mon passé ".

I completely ignore the tomes on necromancy as I likewise have a personal taboo on it. Seeing as I have an adequate supply of money, I decide to take the healing tome I found and go purchase it.

4:07 PM Layla:"Hmm?" the wizard says, looking up from his own small item. He sets it down and looks at the totem. "Mmhmm..." he says. "This is tsaeth in origin. Oh, excuse me, 'demon' I believe is the Common word. It has been purified though...yes, this could be used as a rather effective focus item for holy magic. But the demonic influences may come out at some rather inopportune times." He then looks at the amulet. "Ah, this one is much better off," he says. "This is a generic mystic amulet. You could enchant it to help with virtually anything without having to worry about demonic influences." Willow:By the time you catch up to Lyriana, she's trying to pick out a new blade. However, she doesn't seem to like any of them. Apollo:When you come up to the register, the sorceress behind the counter smiles. "This all?" she asks. "Fifty coppers. Might I interest you in a wand or staff? Or perhaps a new focus item?"
