Xol leapt off the Gargoyle statue and in one lighting quick motion the Black Rose was unsheathed. He slashed down furiously at Irvine, unleashing a massive wave of dark energy at him. As the wave flowed towards Irvine Xol landed and dashed in quickly behind it, ready to strike.

"and it begins..." He closes his eyes for a moment, then opens them back up, his iris's flashing yellow over the purple color.

Irvine looks over his shoulder. He wasn't expecting such a sudden attack. However, he played it to his advantage and tried to get some distance between them. Irvine leaped forward. The dark energy slash had just barely missed his foot. Irvine landed and rolled, turning to face Xol. They weren't but a few feet apart. He smirked.
"Naughty, naughty. Tonight Xol, we finish what we started. One of us will not leave this garden alive. And to make sure no one intrudes..."
Irvine stabbed his sword into the ground. It pulsated with energy. Suddenly the earth began to shake. It shook violently. Irvine's hands began to vibrate. A large white sheild enveloped the garden and shook the entire foundation of the BC in the process. When Irvine was done, he tugged his sword free and held it at his side, near his face.
"No one can get in. No one can get out. Only way out is through me. Now...bring it on!"

*dark kaiori laughs* fine with me then its not my part of our soul that will die *kaiori takes to the air, and the normal kaiori forms next to her, they slowly fade into eachother, a thunder clap and a large blast of light and kaiori's body falls to the ground*

Xol kept dashing at Irvine even as he spoke, not stopping, but rather smiling as the barrier rose around them. "Perfect..." He growled before leaping into the air and preforming a full 360 degree turn and slicing downwards towards Irvines chest. He used the built up momentum to strike at him with unparalleled force, a black misty trail followed the blade as it struck down at him with unbridled fury. There was no mistake, Xol was here to kill Irvine and his actions spoke louder than words ever could.

Irvine saw the blade. His eyes narrowed. Irvine was smart. He knew that if he were to try and parry that his sword would shatter. So instead, Irvine side stepped to the right of the slash. Then, when Xol had landed from his missed slash, Irvine too slashed at Xol. He slashed in a downwards arc towards Xol's left.

(Right, not to be mean or anything but how exactly did ya get around my force field. Everything inside stays inside, everything outside stays outside. No exceptions. So quick question, how are you watching us if you weren't in a tree before hand?)

((Sorry it took so long had to reboot sweatdrop )) Xol landed and quickly stepped away from Irvine's blade, but was caught in the side never-the-less. It was only a scracth, but it infuriated him to no end. Xol quickly recovered and sent a series of blinding stabs at Irvine's midsection, which appeared to be nothing more than one long continuous blur.
He also managed to get his hand up, palm facing Irvine as he sent a gale force wind at him, hoping to knock him off balance.
