I love Stinking Cloud... in one of my campaigns there was an NPC wizard named Sanchez, Master of the Stinking Cloud.

Well, I was gonna leave that background info to you guys. But I think it safe to say that you've known each other for a while, even before the chimera incident.

Cool, does that mean no need for intros?...anyways, do you allow severing of limbs? Like say should I fell like un-arming a foe, would you allow that? And how does one become the master of stinking cloud?

No, I won't allow called shots like that.
And one becomes master of the stinking cloud by learning all of its applications and using it to its fullest effect.
Also you can take the Spell Mastery, Arcane Thesis, and Signature Spell feats, applying them to the spell. Then, you'd get the following benefits related to stinking cloud:
1) You'd always be able to always prepare stinking cloud, even without a spellbook. (Spell Mastery)
2) You could spontaneously convert spells you have memorized into stinking cloud, as long as they were of equal or higher level. (Signature Spell, from the Player's Guide to Faerun)
3) You'd cast stinking cloud at +2 caster level, and any metamagic feat you apply to it would use up a spell slot one level lower than the metamagic feat would normally cause it to use. (So Empower Spell would only take up a slot one level higher than normal, instead of two) (Arcane Thesis, from the PHB II)

Well, you get to introduce yourselves to NPCs... and there will be some important NPCs (some beautiful women too). The adventure, unfortunately, was written with the assumption that the players already know each other and found a map in the lair of something they killed. But anyways, you want to introduce yourselves to NPCs because allies will be very useful in this campaign...

DimitriFate M'kay, done. And what's wrong Stinking Cloud? I'll have you know it's a great crowd control domokun ! I did what you said and replaced the decastave and replaced it with better things heart . I'll say this much, the rogue will have a field day. *looks up and smiles visciously* watchya got ta trade? *shows off all stuff that was previously Dimitri's*
