Zephyr Moon the weather's been really weird this year... usually, it's in the 80s or 90s by now, but it's been really cold instead... i don't really ski or snowboard though... it doesn't snow really where I live, though quite a few people travel to ski resorts and stuff last time i tried to ski, i forgot how to slow down and slammed into a snow pack... it was brilliant XD Brr! Cold, during the summer. Only in California. We really have no seasons in southern California. xd
Haha! Bravo! That's happened to me, too. I ski a lot, but I've never been up north. Usually we travel to Colorado, because we have a family house over there.

Ah, yes. The introductions thread. I've never been good at hello's. I'll simply start by saying "hello!" then! ^_^ Aye, I'm new. The guild looks to have a very friendly group of people. I'm hoping I can have an interesting time roleplaying here... without all the hustle of "*stabs* haha ur ded *takes ur stuff* haha get ot of my rp nub", which can really get annoying sometimes. Of course, it's usually not *that* bad, but I've seen some pretty terrible stuff on my travels.

I think I'd want a full-body-sized freezer for really hot days. blaugh
Oh, dear, thinking of the heat makes it feel warmer. . . *on the way to stick her head in the freezer again, chants a more appropriate, localized version of a child's song* "Sun, sun, go away, come again some other day!"
Not that the new lyrics are any more logical, though. It's dangerous wishful thinking, wanting the sun to disappear, heh. . . Well, can't win them all. sweatdrop
Ahh, but I do love my freezer. 4laugh

i know... seriously... XD it's like warm in the winter.... rainy for a month straight in the spring cold in the summer and random spurts of heat in between... so weird... XD
fwee, yeah.... i think i got really discouraged after that, esp since we were practically skiing in a snow storm... so i just some how got myself down the hil into the lodge to sit down... XD
that's cool having a family house in Colorado. You must be pretty good at skiiing smile

Yesterday it was 100 degrees here. o_O I didn't know it until I stepped outside, though.

Ooh, a snow storm! Those are always.. exciting. One time, I was on the mountain in a blizzard- a white out! There was so much snow, I couldn't see anything! Aw, too bad you got discouraged, though. Skiing takes lots of practice, but it's fun after a while! Ah well, it's not for everyone. And maybe you could pick it up later in life, if you ever wanted to ski again.
Yeah, I've been skiing for a long time now. I started playing in the snow when I was 2... started skiing around 3 or 4.

Er, hello!
Obviously, I'm new here (first post), and I'm looking forward to role playing in a friendly, literate environment. I found my way here through the banner in Rivi's signature. To be honest, I clicked it because it looked cool... I don't normally follow random links, though I'm quite glad that I did this time.

Welcome! I'm Mekryd, the founder/captain type person. I'm sorry that I won't get to talk to you much after this, though, since I'll be on a two week absense. sweatdrop

Well, we should remedy that. There are some threads here that hold definite interest for me, so I'll be able to contribute to reviving them. Mekryd, when will you be leaving? I'll definitely want to get in my applications before then. And thank you both for your warm welcoming. =D
