Darkness was swimming at the edges of the captain's vision. Closing in agonizingly slow, eating up everything, leaving only blissful darkness in it's wake.
It was impossible to ignore the pain now. Every blow from the tiger felt crippling, harder then it should of, and Xenotime knew that she was just as close to the edge as Tsui was. Their battle would come down to desperation, it already had. Stubbornness drove them onward, kept them moving, and for Xe, pride. She would not lose, not to Tsui, not to anyone.
Another wild blow rocked her head back, and she let that momentum carry her back, put a little distance between them, if only temporarily. It was precious seconds that she needed, enough to fish a small pearl of energy from her pocket and press it between her lips. Enough to bite down on that tiny orb, to release that small store of energy and to take it into herself.
It wasn't much, but it pushed back the darkness, cleared her vision. She grinned, as she dropped into a ready stance.
HP:7 + 3 from stolen energy = 10 No damage to Tsui this time.

"Come on, pretty. Cows just stand for the slaughter. People struggle. "
Schörl whorled her knout around again, cracking the thongs on the Eternal Senshi's legs so that the studs would have the velocity and force to draw blood. As a weapon, it was like a robust mix of a cat o'nine and a bullwhip.
Civilians were running out the opened doors in a panicked drove, pushing at each other to try to get to safetly, sheep-like. It was a wonder they weren't trampling each other. "Or are you going to run instead?"

If you'd rather just leave this peter off to the event summary, just drop me a line and let me know. Otherwise I figured it'd be nice to try to finish out the event IC?
The door was finally open. If Pasiphae had not been consumed with pain and aware, acutely aware, of the taunts thrown at her, she would have broken down and wept. But crying only came at the end of the battle, or whenever there was absolutely nothing else she could do. Neither of those conditions applied here. The battle wasn't over yet, and with the flock of innocents finally rushing out of the door, they needed her to guard them still.
Protecting them was all that mattered. She rose slowly from her hit into the door, but she was given no quarter as the whip came for her. Her lace tights split along with her flesh, and both that fabric and the edges of her boots were dyed first pink but soon enough red from the blood that trickled down her legs. She bit her lip to keep back a cry of pain and hissed a simple, "No.. She would not run. Not until there was no one else for which she could fight.
The bite of her leg wounds prevented her from lashing out with a kick, so she instead threw a punch right for her foe's face. It was a desperate move, but desperation was a fuel as good as any other.

I'm very okay completing it ICly. Ivy! <3 P.S. Schorl, Pasi really likes cows so that was super mean. =<

Sorry to hold you back! Pasi desperately needs the help, though, so feel free to have Falias get his pay back! :3
It had taken a few moments to sink that the damned door that he'd been try to help get open and by that time what felt like a stampede of civilians were trying to shove their way out through the newly opened exit.
Falias had been doing best to try and help people out when he heard a voice that he thought he recognised and on turning in the direction that he thought he'd heard it coming from he found his eyes narrowing as he realised that he did indeed recognise the source. Not by name, Falias didn't think that any of the crazies that seemed to make up the Negaverse had ever bothered to give a name, but it was hard to forget the face of someone who'd recently chucked a table at you.
The blonde Nega-Captain was attacking someone, a senshi by the feel of it, Falias catching a glimpse of white and maroon as the Captain lashed at the senshi.
He narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, green eyes landing on one of the bits of table before he walked over to pick it up and then turned and calculating the distance.
Yes the Captain was close enough that it might actually work he decided after a moment before turning and sending the piece of what had once been a table in the direction of the Nega-Captain as hard as he could, before trying to make his way over to where the pair were. It would be oddly fitting if it connected, but at worst hopefully it would at least distract the Captain enough to allow the senshi, whoever it was, some breathing space.
Vespa couldn't believe what had just happened, and tried as he might, the Page was able to push through the doors. The moment those doors flung open, it was like a stampede as the civilians went rushing through. Vespa had seen the rush coming and his first thoughts went to the gruesome demise of Mufasa from The Lion King, and that was enough for him to give up the chase and back off. He cursed beneath his breath before rushing out of their path, looking down at their victims and losing track of his enemies, and allies, among the crowd.
"Oh... I'm in so much trouble..." Vespa said to himself, tightening his grip on the rafters and looking to make his own escape as well. Of course it was true that others were ordered to guard the door, but the others outranked him, and thus the blame could easily fall onto him. But what could he do? He'd have to suffer the consequences for his actions later, and he looked for a place to transform back into boring old Scott.
He scanned the crowd one last time, though, looking for the dark haired girl that he had been talking to at the booth before the attack started, and muttered to himself. "Hope you made it out okay..."

The Tiger senshi couldn't deny that she likely on her last legs now, and as desperate as her struggle had been, she couldn't help but feel a bit of resentment when her opponent sought to replenish her energy. She had never seen such a thing and while it was not as gruesome as witnessing Benitoite devouring starseeds, it still struck a chord within her, the type of chord that demanded she bullrush the captain and pummel her relentless with her bare fists. Instead she spat, doing nothing to hide her anger as she huffed, "Yeah... that's fair..."
But such a matter was lost when she heard what sounded like the doors busting open and many feet pounding against the ground, and a quick glance over her shoulder confirmed that someone had broken through the barricade. She hated running from a fight, but given the new energy boost that Xenotime had obtained, even Tsui knew that continuing the fight would have been too risky an endeavor, especially when there were civilians and her friends to protect. So, she fought her shame and immediately jumped into the crowd, fulling expecting Xenotime to try and follow her and for once hoping that her small stature could hide her form. Running into the crowd and powering down would have been a foolish mood, but Tsui was certain that everyone else was more focused on escaping this madhouse with their lives to notice such a thing.
"Athene! Ida! The doors are open- let's move it!" Tsui shouted, turning her back to Xenotime and swallowing her shame as she jumped into the crowd. This could have easily been seen as an act of cowardice and she's carry this scar to her pride for the rest of her days, but Tsui would rather be seen as such than to allow Xenotime, or any member of the Negaverse, to claim the glory of having her death at their hands. With no idea if Xenotime was following her or not, Tsui weaved through the crowd and crouched, the transformation into Gwendolyn Caspian almost instantaneous, and she hoped that her costume would hide the bulk of her wounds, as she searched the crowd for Sutai, hoping that the squire would find her way out.
She had faith in her friends to make it out of this alive, more faith than in herself, that was for certain...

From within the safe haven of the restroom, Buddingtonite pulled his head out from behind the door and observed the mad rush taking place before him. He didn't need time to put two and two together, and nor would he wait for General Bischofite's order. It was time to go, and he'd gladly take it.
"Medea, be a dear and continue hiding for a little while longer," Buddingtonite called back to the senshi, before stepping out and slamming the door shut. And for safe measure, to make absolutely certain that she couldn't follow after him, he grabbed a discarded door and propped it against the handle, giving a shake to test its sturdiness before walking away. It was easy to power down in this crowd, and the moment that Richard Moreau was standing amongst the crowd, he gave a panicked shriek and flailed his arms around, hoping to make a scene and distract others in case others needed the chance to power down as well. Also, to have a little fun. That too.

She hated how quick Eternal senshi were, by sheer aspect of the energy at their command if nothing else. It meant that as soon as the game was close, the reaction time an opponent had to their blows was even less than half seconds. The punch absolutely connected, fist to face, turning Schörl's cheek with an audible smack and a fan of blonde hair from the momentum. She was looking at the mess on the floor, eye's readjusting to binary cohesion and overlapping images properly when something struck firmly and hard into her ribs and set her stutter stepping aside a few steps. It looked like a piece of table.
Looking up, their own senshi that had tackled the knight was suspiciously missing- must have retreated. a*****e, there's been no retreat order, and just leaving me here in the crowd. He wasn't even that wounded. So the doors opened. That has nothing to do with the orders to kill whatever senshi or knights revealed themselves.
And her chances to do either were grossly cut down without any sort of back up. Her vision was swimming black at the edges, wondering where the Youma was, or that biggun that had also been nearby-ish tangling with other senshi. They could pick up her corpse, for all it mattered at that moment. Efficiency was lacking....had a single senshi fallen? A single knight? Staying the distance increased even that one statistic, even if it meant she was downed herself.
Captain Schörl's mouth set into a fatalistic half-smirk, and she brought the knout around again to cross the studs and thongs on Eternal's chest, "Bleed."

The solid feel of her fist striking her opponent's face helped to raise Pasiphae's confidence a small bit. With such a ht, surely all the focus would remain on her and not on the innocents who continued to pour out of the opened doors. The addition of a page, the very one who had finally managed to open the doors, was welcome and she flashed him a smile of thanks whenever he intervened. She would make sure to thank him more properly if... no, when they both survived this.
Her confidence did not last long. The studs cracked the pearl brooch that held the maroon bow to her chest in addition to cutting into the flesh of her breast. As if to show how willing the girl usually was to please, blood pooled onto the top of her fuku and trickled down lace and bead, seemingly in response to the command of the Negaverse agent. Pasiphae hissed in pain and instinctively brought her hands to her bleeding chest. She had been hit with many forms of magic and weapons, but of them all this one hurt the most and threatened to leave her the most vulnerable. Thankfully the bone itself had not been broken, but there was still going to be quite a lot of awkward bandaging after this fight was over. Whoever this Captain was... she could take a sick pleasure in knowing that the mark would likely scar.
She was shocked, and wounded, but if she was anyting she was determined. After taking a knee for a moment and hissing against the pain in her chest, Pasiphae flung herself forward, grasping for the white-haired woman's ankle. If she pulled her opponent down, then maybe her biting whip would have its teeth pulled.
Falias couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as the bit of table smacked into the Nega Captain, even as he did his best to cut the distance between them.
He was hampered by the fact that it meant going against the civilians trying to flee the place and meant that the blonde was able to swing out at the senshi with her flogger-thing before he was able to finally close the distance.
Falias didn't bother with his weapon, knowing that the piece of mistletoe wasn't going to do much good, instead he balled a fist and lunged for the Captain, trying to swing out at her as he did so, hoping to maybe knock her away from the senshi that she seemed so utterly focused on.
It probably wasn't the most sensible thing to do, given the difference in their ranks - but the whole table thing still rankled Falias and seeing the other beating on the senshi wasn't particularly sitting well with him either.

The little cow could take a hit, it seemed- stoically enough to bring arm up protectively and gird loins. Schörl was impressed, even as reach was extended and robbed her of her balance as one of her booted feet was pulled out from under her, wrenching knee and ankle a little and landing her square on her back. It pushed the air from her, dizzied her already swimming vision with tv-esque snow. There was no time for lying on her back.
The captain hauled her leg free, forcing her muscles to stand once more. I have a job to do.
She pulled back her knout again, but there was the sound of air expelled again and Schörl couldn't breathe. I see the ceiling? Something hit me, chest, thrown back again.
But then everything was fuzzing out black, and she was less worried where or who from the second blow had come. This fight was done with her.
Pasiphae was glad when the whip-beariing Captain went down, and even happier when the page followed up on her attack to ground their opponent for the rest of the fight. She took no pleasure in having to hurt another person but... at least now she knew there was one less person to attack the fleeing civilians.
Warm blood continued to drip down her fuku as she turned to face her ally, giving him a tight, pained smile. Her face was growing paler by the moment, but at least the fight seemed to be winding down. Fatigue set in, but she reached her non-bloody hand towards her ally, "Thank you... I think... we can leave now?"
There was no way she was going to leave a page to face anything in this mad house alone.

He'd gotten there in time to stop the Nega-Captain from using her flogger thing yet again, the blond dropping like a stone at his blow.
Falias had given her a wary look, but it looked like the Nega was, at least for now, out for the count. He glanced at the maroon and white garbed senshi, concern in his green eyes as he took in the blood dripping down her outfit.
"I think so," he agreed with a nod as he stepped away from the prone Captain, adding "Look do you need a hand?" Because hell all that dripping blood looked pretty serious and the wan cast to her face wasn't particularly helping him feel any less concerned. "Because if you don't mind me saying so, then you should probably seek out a doctor or something."
He was no expert but it looked like she could really do with one.

Falias doesn't know Pasi, but he really, really thinks she could do with seeing a doctor xD
Pasiphae purposefully avoided looking at the fallen Negaverse agent. It was easy to assuage guilt, and to avoid nightmares, if she did not look too intently at an opponent's face. Instead, she focused on the page who was gallantly offering his assistance. Normally, she would worry about being a burden upon her ally... but the blood was too much. It stained her entire front, seeping from white bodice to gray skirt and suddenly she found her knees shaking.
"I... yes. Yes... I should go to a doctor. I will, once we leave."
Great. Now she was babbling. She had to start setting a better example than this. She stood tall and looked to him, nodding once more and making sure her words were professional and clear. "We should go. Do you need a doctor, too?"
Quicksilver the Archangel
Pasi would agree. :< Let's blow this popsicle stand!

"I agree" Falias said, knowing that it was probably not a particularly good idea for either of them to still be here when the police turned up and he suspected it was an when rather than an if about the police turning up.
He shook his head at the senshi's question about needing for a doctor for himself, as he stepped towards the senshi and closer to the open doors. "No, I think I'll be all right myself" he said, then added. "But I'm happy to accompany you if you need the hand."
He wouldn't push though, just glad the other was planning to get that wound looked at, although it was homewards bound for him if the senshi decided she didn't want the hand.
